22/11/2025: Came into tonight to grab a couple drinks without a reservation. Despite the whole restaurant being seated the staff went above and beyond finding us a seat and getting drinks put through for us very timely. We were constantly made sure we were happy and I have to say the service was probably the best I’ve seen in Calgary and we eat out a lot! Special shoutout to ANDREW the manager absolutely insane customer service! And same with the other gentleman behind the bar! And amazing food and drinks!!!

19/11/2025: A small place with a sidewalk terrace. You'd expect generous dishes, but they're barely decent. Two cacio e pepe and a soda for €30! The menu is limited, too limited for this type of place. For me, it's not worth the trip.

28/10/2025: A very warm welcome, a smiling waiter, and quick service. They changed our wine because there was a problem with the one we were initially served. They didn't charge us for it and even offered us a complimentary digestif.

26/10/2025: The perfect place, a discovery of the 2025 season. Local, seasonal, and top-quality ingredients. The bruschetta tomatoes are aromatic and fragrant, with a touch of good extra virgin olive oil. The mussels are of excellent quality, fresh, perfectly prepared, firm, and not rubbery, with a delicious sauce of their own, seasoned so that the seasonings don't overwhelm their flavor. Next time, I'll ask for a spoon, because it would be a shame to leave such a wonder on the plate! The raw red shrimp from Mazzara del Vallo served with a drizzle of citron sauce and pink peppercorns. A masterpiece! The grilled swordfish is simply divine... The new team, led by Carlo and Mauro, make every effort to ensure guests feel comfortable and satisfied with the service. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I consider this a prime example of how customer service should be. Attentive, kind, and genuine. I will be back, and I highly recommend it! 17/11/2025: Excellent service and pleasant atmosphere. The food was very good, but my expectations were slightly higher. Prices were okay, average. If you're looking for a reliable place that won't disappoint, I recommend it.

16/06/2025: We chose the Appaloosa Ranch to celebrate our daughter's First Communion... and we couldn't have made a better choice! Everything was perfect: an original location, surrounded by nature and with attention to detail, with an atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The staff was friendly, helpful and super prepared, accommodating all our requests. A special mention for the cuisine, truly excellent: genuine, high-quality dishes, many of which were made with zero-mile products. Each course had the authentic flavor of things made with love. We received sincere compliments from all the guests, who were enraptured by the original setting, the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We initially discovered the Ranch while looking for a place to go horseback riding, and we discovered much more: a simple, true reality, with the flavor of the old days. A place that really deserves to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site for how it manages to combine authenticity, hospitality and tradition. I wish there were more places like this! We had a great time and it will definitely remain our point of reference ❤️

10/06/2025: We went with about twenty children to spend a day in contact with nature and animals and we had a great time, the activities are well organised and the owners are welcoming.

26/09/2025: I found this place online while visiting Sicily from the US. The bartender spoke decent English and was very friendly. The pizza and beer were very good. The prices were reasonable. It appears to be a local neighborhood restaurant that welcomes outsiders. It has a nice, friendly vibe. 🍕🍺

23/11/2025: Great little bar with a charming atmosphere and affordable prices. It’s located next to the Church of St. Ignatius, which adds a truly Italian charm. The barman was friendly and welcoming. We stopped here for a glass of Aperol almost every night during our visit to Palermo. Definitely worth a visit!

28/11/2025: Excellent service, quality food at a reasonable price. Returning to Villa Antigone was once again an experience that reaffirms this establishment's standing among the area's finest. We chose to dine with friends, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted by attentive, friendly, and perfectly organized staff. The service is impeccable, with precise and attentive management, without ever being intrusive. The owner looked after us throughout the evening, ensuring we lacked nothing. The quality of the dishes remains one of its strong points: from the carefully presented crudités appetizers to the scallops, the tartare, and the truly superb mussel soup, everything is fresh, plentiful, and rich in flavor. The first courses, from pasta with crab to spaghetti with clams, confirm a cuisine that showcases the raw ingredients without being overbearing. The wine list is also excellent, and there's also a non-alcoholic beer available for those who prefer it. The location is spectacular: a large, tree-lined garden offers a relaxing and refined atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends. Considering the quality, portions, and service, the value for money is definitely good. I can say without hesitation that, among the restaurants in Mondello and Palermo, it remains one of the best places to enjoy fresh fish. We will definitely be back. 4 to 5 stars. 21/11/2025: I was at this restaurant last night, what can I say? A beautiful location with meticulous attention to detail. We ate divinely: bread, pizza with burrata, raw shrimp, mint, and lime—an explosion of flavors. The tartare was well-balanced, as were the first courses, the pasta with sea urchins was delicious, not to mention the risotto presented inside a spectacular pineapple halves. Excellent service, compliments to Mr. Leonardo and especially to the kind and friendly owner. We will definitely be back.

25/11/2025: Absolutely perfect arancini and cakes. The best coffee I’ve had in years (go for their special brews, totally worth the extra expense). Lovely local communal atmosphere, just the right amount of delightful chaos).
