03/06/2026: Welcoming atmosphere, multi-ethnic cuisine and staff, friendly staff, good dishes

01/06/2026: We ordered a Senegalese Mafè and a swordfish roll. The Mafè lacked salt and seasoning; in Brazil, we would call it pot roast with rice. We found a piece of plastic in the potato that accompanied the swordfish, which we later discovered was an apple label. We received a discount for the inconvenience. The service was great, but the food was disappointing. For the price, it should have been better.

29/05/2026: An incredible spot that is tucked away from the busiest areas of Mondello- lovely pizzas, antipasti and great beer selection. Great views over Monte Gallo from the garden area. I would have preferred a physical paper menu and maybe no tablecloth as it blew around a lot in the wind, though these are very minor things! Their calzone is very rich, but does have some delicious guanciale inside.

28/05/2026: Only locals inside, family events – I thought that was a good omen. And it was brilliant! Delicious food, atmospheric garden. Non-alcoholic drinks, plenty of space, and reasonable prices.

18/05/2026: great food and great views. very nice service. all around a great spot, just a short walk outside the center towards the port and bery quiet.

18/05/2026: Saw the place while I was walking to reach Cefalù. Perfect view on the sunset, cute little tables and pizzas with burata on top: HAD to stop! Took the tuna and grilled zucchini pizza with lemon zest and: wow! Too big for me: they let me take away my leftover crust. And what a good crust it was! Paid 32€ for the pizza, glass of wine, bottle of water and tiramisu. Not cheap but not a tourist trap: worth it.

10/04/2026: A true brewery with on-site brewing. Lovely lunch at the outdoor tables overlooking the gardens. I RECOMMEND AN EVENING VISIT for an intriguing menu. THE BEERS ARE EXCEPTIONAL. In the morning, I tried their delicious couscous.

10/04/2026: A week in Palermo, I loved so many places... but Ballarak is my absolute favorite for an evening aperitif... At 6 pm, it's still lovely, across from a vast car-free park... we were greeted by a fantastic team, the beer is great, and so is the music!!! Friends, this is where it's at 🤟

04/05/2026: This is a spot where the locals come to eat, so booking a table in advance is a must as the place is packed every night. The service is pleasant and efficient, and the staff speaks both English and French, which made communication very easy and comfortable for us. The restaurant is well-maintained and clean, from the cutlery and glasses to the restrooms. For starters, we ordered the meat and cheese platter. The slicing was thin and precise, the flavors were diverse, and the cheeses were rich and high quality an excellent choice to start the meal. For our main course, we had two pizzas. The Boscaiola, with mozzarella, porcini mushrooms, and prosciutto, to which I added pistachio pesto for an extra 3 Euro (a bit pricey, but a tasty upgrade), and the Regina with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto. The pizzas were outstanding and beautifully prepared, with a slightly soft center in the best way possible. This is a highly recommended restaurant if you’re looking for amazing food. Be prepared for an authentic vibe with a simple, modern design rather than a "fancy" atmosphere just come for the incredible food.

15/02/2026: My boyfriend and I often go with friends, some of whom have children, and I have to say we always have a pleasant evening. The pizzeria is a little outside of Cefalù's historic center, making it easily accessible by car. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable. The pizza never disappoints, highly recommended!

20/04/2026: Great canole for €2.5, best we had in Sicily. Highly recommended. Sells also some cookies with feelings, but it’s mostly about the canole.

18/01/2026: A pastry shop in the heart of a small village worth a visit. The owner is incredibly kind and the products are superb. Fresh ingredients and, above all, authentic, not at all cloying flavors. The owner kindly let us try several traditional delicacies, and we were more than satisfied with everything; the "sfoglio" (pastry rolls) were excellent, and the bocconcini (small bites) were special. Highly recommended.

06/01/2026: This afternoon we visited this delightful pastry shop in the historic center of Petralia Sottana. It was truly a delightful experience, filled with exquisite pastries and local delicacies. My heartfelt compliments to the owner, a man with old-world charm, kindness, and courtesy, who treated me to some truly unique delicacies. I hope to return with infinite pleasure!

16/05/2026: I had a great experience at I Parrucciani. The pizza was absolutely delicious — light, well-risen dough with fresh, high-quality ingredients that made every bite flavorful. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. The staff were friendly, attentive enough, and provided quick service throughout the evening. If you’re in Capaci and looking for authentic, high-quality pizza, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

29/05/2026: The space is very nice and the service is okay. It was the only time we ate out in Cefalù, and honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. The bruschetta was tiny and the bread was a bit burnt. The couscous was watery and nothing special. We paid 6 euros for some grilled vegetables to accompany a fish (no side dish), and it was a really minuscule portion. For that price, we've eaten much better in other parts of Sicily. While the atmosphere is very pleasant, that's about it. A shame.

25/11/2025: A beautiful restaurant with a warm and friendly atmosphere, a simply divine tasting menu presented by a knowledgeable and friendly staff. You can sense and taste their passion and professionalism. The chef explained the dishes to us, and the sommelier accompanied us throughout, pairing the menu with excellent local wines, described with great professionalism and naturalness. Excellent value for money. My wife and I can't wait to return to Palermo, also for Addakuosa... Highly recommended

16/11/2025: Excellent food, excellent wines, good service, although the waiters were a bit distracted and not very attentive to requests (the owner's daughters, however, were very friendly and helpful). The only downside, which I hope will be taken as a starting point, is the portions... I'll start by saying that I knew full well I wasn't going to a trattoria, but paying €22 for a first course that I only had three spoonfuls of seems absurd to me... in general, I found all the dishes to be very small portions. I hope to return and find "normal" portions; otherwise, the flavors were excellent!

14/11/2025: Truly a horrible place!!! Rude staff Terrible food and insane prices for a 1:20 wait from ordering. They even tried to charge us for drinks that never arrived. I strongly advise against it!!!

13/11/2025: This place is really good. As travellers, we reached Palermo from a delayed flight and needed something quick and local. The sharing board was of a very high quality, and they served really good local wine. It was positioned next to our hotel, with a great atmosphere of locals enjoying life and a nice glass of wine. It is managed by a lovely lady and gentleman, and we were happy to make a return visit the next day for some more wine.

29/12/2025: I dined at this restaurant and had a truly excellent experience. The quality of the meat is top-notch, and you can immediately sense the care taken in selecting the ingredients and cooking them perfectly, showcasing them to their best advantage. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. A great strength is undoubtedly the staff: extremely kind, attentive, and highly knowledgeable, always available to offer advice and explain the menu options with expertise and passion. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, ideal for both a relaxed dinner and a special occasion. A place I absolutely recommend and will gladly return to.

23/12/2025: The first thing you notice is the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. The meat is excellent quality, and the place is perfect for a pleasant evening enjoying tasty dishes accompanied by great music. The prices aren't cheap, but they're definitely average for the food. Highly recommended.
