The rotisserie par excellence in Palermo. A tradition that can be enjoyed in every product that is as unique as it is tasty. If you pass through Palermo don't miss it. Quality at a good price. I highly recommend!

Intrigued after Pif's broadcast, I wanted to see for myself by going there to taste. Apart from the difficulty in parking, despite a small paid car park, the quality of the pieces did not seem exceptional to me as praised by Pif. In truth I found the pieces no more or less than anywhere else in Palermo. In short, everything is quite commercial, I would say normal without infamy and without glory.

La Romanella si conferma un posto dove poter prendere della rosticceria con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Vengo qui spesso e trovo sempre un buon servizio. Essendo una rosticceria ha molta scelta dei cosiddetti "pezzi" e si trovano anche panini e pasta la forno.

Nel giorno più sbagliato possibile per gustare le arancine Palermitane (Santa Lucia) abbiamo scelto questo posto perché le recensioni parlavano bene… devo dire tutto perfetto, arancine per niente oleose e con un ripieno d’eccellenza… anche il calzone a forno pur riscaldato era spettacolare… Consigliatissimo per tutti quelli che non si accontentano facilmente! Il cassiere inoltre persona gentilissima!

22/03/2024: Locale stupendamente ristrutturato in uno dei più bei palazzi STORICI di corso Vittorio Emanuele, in piena zona pedonale e con vista sulla cattedrale. All’interno perfetto mix architettonico di moderno (con un vero e proprio Museo sulla Apple e Steve Jobs) e antico, servizio eccellente come Tradizione Michelin vuole. Lo Chef mantiene le attese nel suo menu degustazione di terra e mare con ottimi incroci di ingredienti siciliani e internazionali che si fanno apprezzare per gli accostamenti, l’equilibrio, il gusto e anche la presentazione. Prezzo corretto alla luce dell’offerta eccezionale
19/03/2024: Excellent food but overall experience let down by the sommelier. We were keen to try local grape varieties and/or more interesting pairings. Wine was good but sommelier was either not interested in or not capable of recommending anything other than very classic wine (we didn’t go to Sicily to have “burgundy-style” reds..?!). Similarly with after-dinner drinks. Didn’t seem to know about Whisky. Surprising for a Michelin-started place.
