02/09/2025: A popular place in the best sense of the word, I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service. This place was recommended to me, and the first time I was in the area, I took advantage of it. I'm happy with my choice and will definitely return. Family dinner with two children, even on a Saturday night, and the service was as good as those in the historic center, if not better. The abundance of food, the quality of the dishes, and the objectively fair prices make this place a solid choice. Recommended!

16/06/2025: We chose the Appaloosa Ranch to celebrate our daughter's First Communion... and we couldn't have made a better choice! Everything was perfect: an original location, surrounded by nature and with attention to detail, with an atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The staff was friendly, helpful and super prepared, accommodating all our requests. A special mention for the cuisine, truly excellent: genuine, high-quality dishes, many of which were made with zero-mile products. Each course had the authentic flavor of things made with love. We received sincere compliments from all the guests, who were enraptured by the original setting, the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We initially discovered the Ranch while looking for a place to go horseback riding, and we discovered much more: a simple, true reality, with the flavor of the old days. A place that really deserves to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site for how it manages to combine authenticity, hospitality and tradition. I wish there were more places like this! We had a great time and it will definitely remain our point of reference ❤️

10/06/2025: We went with about twenty children to spend a day in contact with nature and animals and we had a great time, the activities are well organised and the owners are welcoming

06/07/2025: Local on the outskirts of Scillato, we were welcomed by the friendly and professional Giusy and we tasted some really exquisite croissants with such a good cream that we had to have seconds! We also tasted a very good lemon granita, genuine like few others! What can I say, really, compliments for everything! A beautiful reality and for us a pleasant discovery! Vincenzo and Francesca ☺️.

05/06/2025: We hadn't had breakfast and desperately needed a coffee and a snack. This bar had the world's best croissants and very good coffee.

02/09/2025: By far the best Osteria experience I had in Palermo. Unpretentious and uncomplicated traditional Sicilian food at its best. Portions were big and tasty. Great value for the money you pay. It's neat and clean and the music also was at a sensible level (Smooth vocal Jazz, to whom it may concern). Perfect for a walk in as well, as they have plenty of space (inside) and a few tables outside. Staff was friendly and helpful even though our Italian was basically non-existant. Housewine was absolutely drinkable and you can order in carafes, as well. We had the Caponata and Pasta Anciova as well as a simple but traditional aglio olio (correct name I forgot, scusi, but with freshly chopped parsley and chili added, basically). Wonderful last dinner for me and my wife. Wished we had gone there earlier already. Grazie, Sciapò!

31/08/2025: Unfortunately, my experience here was very disappointing. We ordered pasta with anchovies and "mollica atturrata," but there was no hint of breadcrumbs or anchovies. The sarde a beccafico, which were supposed to be 4, arrived in 6 microscopic pieces and, most importantly, without raisins or pine nuts—basically, sardines on a diet 🤣) The fried cod was the final blow: raw inside and without a trace of salt. In short, in Palermo, the food is divine almost everywhere... and then there's Sciapò. 👎

11/09/2025: It is peace, it is pleasure, it is fun. The staff is amazing and the cocktails are crazy good. And there is a great selection of different vines. It is a MUST visit for anybody who is in Palermo. Enjoy your drinks!

28/07/2025: We stumbled upon this bar by chance one evening when there was a concert and quickly decided that it would be our favorite bar in Palermo! Everything is quality: the alcohol on offer, the food to nibble on, the background music but above all Isodoro and his team who welcome you with great kindness and do not hesitate to give you advice on Sicilian wines. Not to mention that it is easy to chat with the other customers there. Long live this place!

09/09/2025: Unfortunately, the review is currently negative, although we'll need to return for a further evaluation. The staff was helpful, but poorly trained. The fish appetizers were okay. The wait times were excessive, and the fish was undercooked, resulting in a sloppy presentation. The side salad was also anything but fresh and poorly presented. The stuffed squid was a no-no. The pasta, however, was acceptable. Overall, however, the asking price is not justified given the quality offered. There's considerable room for improvement.

09/09/2025: I had the pleasure of dining last night, September 8, 2025, with my family to celebrate my wedding anniversary at Ristorante I Mori. It was a simply impeccable experience. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with a modern touch. The menu: every dish is carefully crafted, with the freshest ingredients and authentic flavors. We chose two set fish menus and two à la carte. Everything was excellent: fresh and beautifully presented appetizers, two first courses, risotto and busiate, and a delicious swordfish main course. A sorbet to finish. The service is friendly, attentive, and very professional: they pay attention to the little things; even though we wanted to keep the cutlery, they changed it. Highly recommended! I will definitely be back.

13/07/2025: I haven't had such a good pizza in a long time! My group was coming from Palermo for a theater show. The pizza chef was very kind and got our pizza to us as quickly as possible. A wonderful surprise, we'll be back!
