Unfortunately, we don't speak Italian, so we had the menu translated online and ordered. However, the owner had another suggestion for us, which we gladly accepted. So we arrived with a Sicilian specialty from Nonna, a kind of roulade—absolutely delicious! We also ordered the recommended dessert. We were thrilled and more than full. Rather than a review, I wanted to thank you for the wonderful evening we had on March 29th. What can I say? The food was excellent, just like grandma's on Sundays. The atmosphere was familiar and welcoming, and the service was wonderful, as if Maurizio had been a friend for years. He was a very empathetic and kind man.

A simple restaurant, excellent for a quick lunch with traditional Sicilian and Palermo dishes.
The Faccia di Vecchia and the Muffolette are a must. The first courses are also succulent and plentiful.

Surprise! While wandering the winding streets of Palermo, between sun and clouds, we came across this alkaline place teeming with people. There must have been a reason. The food was spectacular. We'll be back soon, hungrier and more organized.
