A place to recommend... typical Sicilian cuisine like grandma's, very kind staff, in this regard I asked for pasta al dente and it arrived just as I wanted it, perfect, compliments to Mrs. Rosalia!!

I used to go to U Zú Caliddu occasionally about 45 years ago, when it was a completely different place than it is today, and I'm revisiting it after about 45 years. The place is obviously completely different, even in size, and the selection is decidedly wider. I ordered, and already ate, a Faccia di Vecchia... Simply spectacular, a reminder of the flavors of yesteryear. For me, an unforgettable place. Bravo, always.

11/06/2026: If you get the table at the back you get a great Seaview. The food was incredible. Three very tasty dishes not including the tuna sashimi which hit the mark. All in all a great experience
10/06/2026: The window seat I requested is absolutely stunning but unfortunately the air con blows so hard we had to move to the table on the street - if you do not mind ice cold air blowing in your eyes, you will have the best sunset view of your life there! The staff were attentive to us and while initially it was not possible to move to a less arctic table, the main boss made it possible. We were served promptly until it came to the final bill - in the end we needed to get up to pay despite the restaurant not being busy at all (Monday evening). Now on to the food - absolutely spectacular. The mackerel special was insane. It is not cheap but the quality and flavour is fantastic.

16/07/2026: Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. A cozy place and an excellent choice whether you’re dining in or ordering takeaway.
