I'm Giuseppe from Bivona (AG). I have wonderful memories of the place. I talked about it a few days ago with a niece of Uncle Caliddu's. Already 50 years ago I came to eat with my parents. I'm pleased to know and see that the generations (after Uncle Caliddu) have been able to do it. What can I say...good and fresh food, friendliness and education, as in the past, are there, small but welcoming environment. There are all the ingredients to confirm that I will come to visit you again and taste your dishes. I'm happy to have "dusted off" my childhood memories. Old woman's face and muffoletta with ricotta alone are worth the visit. Now they have asphalted the road and getting there is very easy.

Quite an assorted place, you find cheeses, ricotta, bread and the face of a hot old woman and you eat it freshly baked... good and more. HI

The food is good, I think the only flaw is that they have significantly increased the cost of the legendary restaurant, the old face is the only one of its kind. 4 euros is a little too much. Then again always very kind and helpful.

I went for lunch and was amazed. Delicious home cooking, and I recommend you try the delicious "old woman's face"!! Very low prices and great food.

Ci siamo fermati per una veloce pausa pranzo. Ho provato sia la Faccia di Vecchia che la Muffoletta; quest'ultima nella variante più semplice, ripiena di ricotta che non ho mai mangiato così buona. Ottimo punto di riferimento per uno spuntino rustico, saporito e con prezzi onesti

Lunedì 23 ottobre. Siamo 6 persone e cerchiamo un agriturismo nei paraggi di Palermo. Dopo qualche chiamata con risposte negative ( chiusure ) troviamo questo locale disponibile! Arrivati alle 13 c’era già qualche tavolo. Scegliamo antipasti e primi. Antipasti tipici siciliani e primi molto buoni anche se semplici ( ragù di cinchiale, sugo ricotta e melanzane) consigliato!!
