10/03/2026: During my visit to Bar Valentina in Isola delle Femmine, unfortunately, the experience wasn't the best. As a tourist, I had the feeling that priority is given to local customers over passers-by. The wait was quite long, even though the place wasn't particularly crowded. Regarding the products, I ordered some puff pastry shells that were advertised as cream-filled, but inside I also found fruit, which hadn't been specified. It would be helpful to clearly indicate the ingredients, especially to avoid surprises for customers. Another thing that left me perplexed was the difficulty in getting information about the ice cream flavors: when I asked, for example, about "Dubai," the lady at the counter didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Furthermore, in front of customers, the absence of the sister, who was left alone to manage the work, was repeatedly complained about, creating a somewhat unprofessional atmosphere. Finally, the restrooms, unfortunately, were not in good condition, which is always an important aspect for a place open to the public. Overall, based on my personal experience, I wouldn't recommend this bar for either breakfast or an aperitif. I hope these comments will help us improve the service in the future.

There's no table service, and the space is small. If you're comfortable with sidewalk seating... you're welcome! A great place to grab a beer with friends!

07/02/2026: I called ahead to ask if swordfish was available, and it turned out to be a truly exceptional discovery. The restaurant is located on a quiet street in the center, just outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone): a private and pleasant corner, with an elegant, welcoming atmosphere, meticulously maintained, where you immediately feel at ease. The cuisine was a constant confirmation: the swordfish caponata is simply superb, balanced and refined; the strozzapreti with swordfish is intense and perfectly balanced; the mixed cooked pasta is wow, of great quality and cooked with great care. The wine is also excellent, well-selected and ideal to accompany the dishes. The quality-price ratio is excellent, rare to find at this level. Special mention for the service: impeccable, attentive, and never intrusive. The young woman who welcomed us and looked after us throughout the evening was always smiling, professional, and capable of making the guest feel truly special. A complete experience, one of those that will stay with you forever. Absolutely recommended. Thank you!!! 🙂

01/03/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I tried these pizzas and was impressed by the quality of the ingredients. The dough is light and airy, but it's the toppings that make the difference. In particular, the pizza with turnip greens and almonds is enriched with a truly remarkable sun-dried tomato pâté: it adds a burst of flavor that pairs beautifully with the crunchiness of the whole almonds. The Capricciosa is also very good: you can tell they're not using the usual ingredients. The artichokes are tender and flavorful, and the quality of the prosciutto and mozzarella (with the burrata in the center topping it all off) is evident. At the end of the dinner, they recommended an amazing Polish pie (KARPATKA), which was amazing! Overall, an excellent experience for those looking for a carefully prepared pizza without too many frills, where the ingredients are the real protagonist. Recommended!

19/10/2025: Walked up without booking for Sunday lunch 6 adults 4 children. Went out of their way set up some tables outside. Lovely food at very reasonable place. Family run including the 11 year old Francesco who was the consummate waiter.

The real highlight, however, is the owner: kind, welcoming, and always ready to make you feel at home. 20/01/2026: A charming place that combines excellent traditional food with the chef's unique interpretations. The location is beautiful and well-kept. The owners are delightful people who strive to please their guests in every way. The maître d' is professional and attentive. What more can I say? If you want an elegant, romantic setting with excellent food, this is the place to go. I forgot to mention that it's a restaurant very suitable for large events. Everything will be perfect! We've tried it on several occasions (weddings, baptisms, and a 25th wedding anniversary).

18/01/2026: A pastry shop in the heart of a small village worth a visit. The owner is incredibly kind and the products are superb. Fresh ingredients and, above all, authentic, not at all cloying flavors. The owner kindly let us try several traditional delicacies, and we were more than satisfied with everything; the "sfoglio" (pastry rolls) were excellent, and the bocconcini (small bites) were special. Highly recommended.

It was truly a delightful experience, filled with exquisite pastries and local delicacies. Our journey through Tunisian flavors began with a sumptuous appetizer, a veritable array of traditional dishes: intense aromas, balanced spices, dishes prepared with care and authenticity. Each bite told a story, and the quality of the ingredients was evident. The seafood couscous was a masterpiece: authentic, harmonious flavors, perfectly balanced between seafood and spices. A dish that captivates without ever being heavy, prepared with expert skill and sensitivity. What made the experience even more special was the owner, a friendly, affable, and passionate chef, who manages to convey his love for his cuisine in every gesture. The rest of the family provides impeccable support: kind, attentive, and present without being intrusive. A welcome that many customers highlight as one of the restaurant's strengths.
