29/12/2025: I dined at this restaurant and had a truly excellent experience. The quality of the meat is top-notch, and you can immediately sense the care taken in selecting the ingredients and cooking them perfectly, showcasing them to their best advantage. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. A great strength is undoubtedly the staff: extremely kind, attentive, and highly knowledgeable, always available to offer advice and explain the menu options with expertise and passion. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, ideal for both a relaxed dinner and a special occasion. A place I absolutely recommend and will gladly return to.

23/12/2025: The first thing you notice is the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. The meat is excellent quality, and the place is perfect for a pleasant evening enjoying tasty dishes accompanied by great music. The prices aren't cheap, but they're definitely average for the food. Highly recommended.

16/01/2026: The tuna was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, perfectly prepared and combined well with the pistachio and red onion. However, the swordfish was more bland, which was a shame. The desserts were fine. The staff was nicely friendly, but the restaurant was a bit on the expensive side. But the tuna was really good. <3

02/01/2026: Wonderful Sicilian food of the highest quality. Good selection across all three courses. Despite its prime location at Giardino Garibaldi, the prices are very reasonable. I had a superb artichoke caponata, see photo.

20/02/2026: An unforgettable experience at this restaurant run by young but well-trained people who know how to introduce you to their reinterpretation of Palermo dishes. Excellent wine and dessert recommendations. Well done, we'll be back soon.

16/02/2026: A breath of fresh air in Palermo! Trust me, book here. In a city now bent on tourism, where it seems impossible to eat truly well, this place is a gem. Refined atmosphere, impeccable staff, but above all, the freshest fish! You won't find traditional dishes, but you won't regret choosing it. If we'd had more days, we would definitely have returned to try other dishes. Prices are average, if not low; for four people, two courses each, three desserts, two bottles of wine and liqueurs, €50 each. A GIFT, for the quality of the food!

05/03/2026: I ordered a fried calzone to eat on the spot and some apostle fingers to take home (I asked for a "mixed" version, but when I got home I realized they were all with ricotta cream, but that's understandable). I can't fault the apostle fingers; they're a must-have and one leads to another. Of course, I ordered 10 and didn't expect €1 each to be left over. The fried calzone was a disappointment, €2.20, poorly seasoned, greasy, and with a nasty fried flavor.

08/03/2026: The best place to enjoy arancini. Both for variety and quality. From the classic ones with ragù, to the new flavors with shrimp, vegetables, etc. The breading is perfect, perfectly crunchy, and they deliver an explosion of flavor in your mouth.

09/02/2026: A typical and authentic bakery frequented by locals. Everything is delicious, homemade, and fresh. You can create your own sandwiches and/or takeaway containers to eat on the go or to take away.

09/01/2026: Discovered by chance. It's located just a 2-minute walk from the Royal Palace of Palermo, on a small street. A small bakery and delicatessen with ready-made pasta, including anelletti and squid, which you can conveniently take away in single-portion packs. If you're a bread lover, they also have delicious sandwiches! Very affordable prices. Recommended

23/11/2025: Today Giorgio really put me on edge...CANNOLI OR SFINCIA...?!?!? Today my wife and I returned to Piana with the intention of enjoying Giorgio Clesceri's wonderful cannoli... As soon as we entered the simple and welcoming shop, after greeting Giorgio and his wife, I immediately and decisively asked Giorgio to fill a cannoli shell for me and... Just seeing, through the small window overlooking the shop's workshop, how much ricotta he was adding and how much was a real pleasure. In the meantime, my wife had been drawn to some SFINCIE and... realizing she was about to... betray... the cannoli to get the SFINCIA... I was shocked because once there, it's unacceptable for me not to enjoy the best cannoli I've ever eaten... we reached a compromise... We had it put on the menu and enjoyed it later. Well... after lunch, we opened the precious wrapping and cut that... ricotta hill in two... A SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!! The filling was soft and devoid of any fried aftertaste, and the ricotta, while superb as in the cannoli, was in industrial quantities inside and out... WHAT A TRAGEDY!!!!!!! NEXT TIME HOW WILL WE CHOOSE BETWEEN... SFINCIA AND CANNOLI???!!!!

25/10/2025: Small bakery in a tiny town but with great flavors and outstanding friendliness. Despite us not speaking Italian and the baker not speaking any English we communicated with friendly handgestures and smiles. Can highly recommend eating here. The drive through nature to town is worth it and so are the pastries

09/03/2026: Covo dei Beati Paoli is always a guarantee! The appetizers, first courses, second courses, and side dishes are excellent. We were seated outside, comfortable and not crowded at other tables. The setting was quiet, overlooking the villa. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff were all very friendly, and the wait times were reasonable. Finally, they gave us a discount coupon, and I'll be returning soon with many more friends. Recommended for everyone, whether couples, families with children, or groups of friends.

07/03/2026: After a very long wait and having seen Coriolano della Foresta, (the reservation had been made at 8:15 pm), the pizzas never arrived so they cannot be judged... the owner kept claiming that the pizzas were in the oven until 10:30 pm... an experience not to be repeated.

01/03/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I tried these pizzas and was impressed by the quality of the ingredients. The dough is light and airy, but it's the toppings that make the difference. In particular, the pizza with turnip greens and almonds is enriched with a truly remarkable sun-dried tomato pâté: it adds a burst of flavor that pairs beautifully with the crunchiness of the whole almonds. The Capricciosa is also very good: you can tell they're not using the usual ingredients. The artichokes are tender and flavorful, and the quality of the prosciutto and mozzarella (with the burrata in the center topping it all off) is evident. At the end of the dinner, they recommended an amazing Polish pie (KARPATKA), which was amazing! Overall, an excellent experience for those looking for a carefully prepared pizza without too many frills, where the ingredients are the real protagonist. Recommended!
