11/06/2026: An excellent experience at the Best Western Plus Leone di Messapia. The room was spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable. The king-size bed deserves special mention: incredibly comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep after a day exploring Lecce and the surrounding area. The bathroom was also spacious and functional, equipped with every amenity. I particularly appreciated the complimentary body lotion, a detail that's not always easy to find. The shower is also truly large and very comfortable. Breakfast offers a wide selection, suitable for all tastes, with well-presented, high-quality products. Finally, a special mention goes to the hotel staff, always kind, helpful, and ready to help with a smile. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, professionalism, and a pleasant stay in Lecce. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

15/06/2026: We've been frequenting this top-notch restaurant in Tuglie for several years now, and this year we decided to celebrate my birthday here. What can I say? As always, they were unbeatable: everything was delicious, from start to finish. We also highly recommend the pizza, truly excellent. As true Neapolitans, we immediately recognize a pizza made to perfection! The staff is always attentive, professional, and friendly, making every customer feel welcomed and pampered. A place that continues to prove itself a guarantee of quality. Highly recommended!

And then there are restaurants like A Kilometrozero, where you return because you never know exactly what you'll find... but you know it'll be something special. The great strength of Kilometrozero, in my opinion, is precisely this: a cuisine that never rests on its certainties, but continues to explore, experiment, and renew itself, following the seasonality and availability of the finest ingredients. And this is evident right from the appetizers, which are a true journey through flavors, textures, and ever-changing pairings. The menu changes, expands, continually offering succulent new dishes, without ever losing sight of one fundamental thing: the absolute quality of the ingredients and their flavor. This time, too, we saw confirmation of the chef's ability to transform excellent ingredients into surprising dishes. Meticulous presentation, original yet never self-serving combinations, distinct flavors, and above all, a wealth of flavor. From seafood to more elaborate dishes, including stuffed pastas and regional specialties, you can sense a true culinary philosophy: respecting Salento tradition, yet having the courage to interpret it creatively. And behind all this is a family, the Negros, who still manage to convey that precious quality that has become precious today: a genuine passion for their work. Another aspect that absolutely deserves to be highlighted is the quality/price ratio: it's truly difficult to find such a balance these days. The quality of the ingredients, the variety of options, the attention to detail in the dishes, and the work behind them are offered at a price that I consider unique for what they bring to the table. In short, Kilometrozero isn't just a place to eat: it's a restaurant worth returning to to see what they've come up with this time. And knowing the chef's cuisine, I'm pretty sure the next surprise will be even more interesting than the last. Congratulations to the Negro family and the entire team. 08/06/2026: A fishermen's inn... This is the rustic and traditional atmosphere of the Taverna del Porto. A seafood-focused menu, featuring unmissable raw fish dishes, best enjoyed upstairs with a sea view. The wine list is extensive, perhaps too influenced by other regional wines. The French sparkling wines are a good pairing for seafood. The tagliolini with fish tartare are fresh and tasty.

30/06/2026: The location is beautiful, the garden is charming. The place is suitable for any occasion, from a pizza dinner with friends, to birthdays or ceremonies. The menu is varied, and there's something for everyone, regardless of your dietary needs (e.g., intolerances). Having visited several times, I can confirm what the previous comments and thoughts have been.

13/06/2026: I hadn't been there with my family in over a year. I still expected excellent food and top-notch service, but... they really disappointed me. For the prices on the menu, I expect top-notch service. Instead, I had to ask for a change of cutlery between the appetizer and the main course, and when I asked for a replacement for a very bitter, charred octopus (it was clearly not "grilled"), both the waiter and even the manager (the cashier, basically) insisted that it was "grilled octopus" (as if that cooking method were normal and we were ignorant or surprised or something else??) My spaghetti with lobster...: overcooked and salty; it tasted like a rubbery lobster. I'm very disappointed, especially since I was with guests accustomed to other upscale restaurants in our area.

12/05/2026: We attended two cooking classes there (cheese making and pastry). Absolutely wonderful hosts. Went out of their way to make you feel welcomed and at ease with the whole cooking process. Would highly recommend. Want to go back when their restaurant is open, they were just phenomenal!!

08/05/2026: Update: 4/19/26 We returned to participate in the pasticciotti and fruttoni course, which was another fun and rewarding experience. We started with coffee and a large selection of sweet/breakfast dishes from Salento before being taught the art of making the pastry and fillings for pasticciotto and fruttone. Even our humble creations tasted better than any that we had bought from pasticcerie, and we were given the remainder to take with us (which may or may not have been consumed as we drove around the beautiful countryside afterwards 😆). Thank you again to Greta and Luisa for another wonderful experience. If you are staying the Salento area, make the time to visit these wonderful ladies, eat declicious food, and learn cooking skills that you can continue to develop. 4/9/26 We were fortunate to participate in the raw cheese, ricotta and mozzarella class. Beginning with a warm and welcome entry, Greta and Luisa provide a fantastic experience. You will learn how to make three different types of cheeses starting with primosale, ricotta and then mozzarella. It is a very interesting and fun process to do. You're then invited to sit and relax while you're served an absolutely delicious feast for lunch which includes your own cheese creations. The food was fantastic. Greta also provided a tour of their beautiful masseria; their guest rooms, dining and relaxation areas, and the incredible jacuzzi and rooftop terraces. This was such a great experience that we have now signed up for their pasticciotto and fruttone course and can't wait to come back to spend more time with these wonderful people.

09/08/2026: The portions are small and some of the food we ordered was really salty. However, the prices are not low, and the quality of customer service is not matching the prices.

06/08/2026: A seafood restaurant, but with excellent seafood. The seafood appetizer, besides being complete with everything you'd expect from a seafood appetizer, was exquisite. The risotto was plentiful and truly delicious. To finish, a very special and delicious semifreddo (pictured). The staff was truly kind and helpful, and the service was incredibly fast. Truly an experience to remember and a restaurant to keep as a reference for exquisite seafood dishes. We'll definitely return to try their other delicacies.

26/07/2026: Food is tasty amd budget friendly. But the tables outside were full and not comfortable while someone else is waiting to get your seat afteryou. If you like to eat fast and go, the place is OK.

22/07/2026: For the quality of the food I can't give 0 otherwise I would, obviously food reheated and reheated several times, inedible pasta, flavorless meatballs, if that is fresh pasta then they have never eaten fresh pasta, I definitely won't recommend it and I won't go back, an experience that was little more than disastrous.

25/05/2026: Leaving a restaurant with a satisfied smile is quite rare these days. I hadn't been back to "Da Amedeo" in a while. A quick but substantial lunch, the appetizer of eggplant rolls with cod was excellent, but chef Andrea surprised me with this excellent dish, made with few ingredients but wonderfully prepared: spaghetti with mussels, yellow cherry tomatoes, and zucchini flowers, a hint of lime for a touch of class. The icing on the cake was the mopping up of the bread with his own bread. Top 👏👏👏

15/05/2026: We had dinner here one evening in May and were very well looked after by the owners. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was tasteful and cozy!
