01/04/2024: Very pleasant evening with super good Coldplay cover band (Animo), followed by DJ sets that make you dance all evening while drinking with friends. Good food and excellent service. Too bad I live 900 km away.

06/04/2024: I went to this place, sat down and had just enough time to chat with the people sitting at my table and to choose what to have. I ordered a classic margherita pizza which I give a good rating of 9 because I liked it a lot, the tomato sauce had the right consistency and the dough had the right leavening and as an appetizer before the pizza I had an exceptional fried dish and lastly but last but not least, I tasted a delicious dessert and I recommend you look at the photos in this review to come and evaluate this place too.

03/04/2024: I have been wanting to try this pizzeria for a long time. I have always appreciated the chance to see the pizza chefs at work so definitely a plus. Formal environment and regarding the menu perhaps I expected a little more choice but overall excellent pizza and good fried foods. It's just a shame not to have found the classic omelettes but more elaborate flavours. Sometimes keeping it simple is the best choice.

04/04/2024: Delicious meat, very interesting selection of desserts and liqueurs. Among the typical foods I recommend gnummarieddi and a splendid diaphragm cooked perfectly. When selecting desserts, I recommend the Salento with a bitters paired with it. The mandrake is perfect. Worth the trip to Copertino

03/04/2024: I had dinner with some friends, we chose a varied fish menu. We were offered dishes of the highest level, beautifully presented and prepared with great skill. Truly remarkable service. The Arabian Nights in the small town of Cocumola.

01/04/2024: Really great Easter Monday lunch! Prosecco and desserts offered, impeccable service and speed of delivery. Delicious frying, one of the best I've ever eaten, crunchy and not greasy with oil. Really nice place and honest prices. Highly recommended!

15/03/2024: Frequento questo locale da svariati anni. Ci sono tornata con la famiglia ma siamo rimasti delusi dalle pizze. Non sono più come prima. Adesso sembrano delle banali pizze,non hanno più nulla di napoletano. L'unica nota positiva è il ripieno abbondante ma l'impasto non è degno di nota. Non era presente neanche Ciro,il proprietario, ma solo due pizzaioli stranieri e il mitico Agostino(sempre gentile e simpatico). Prezzi aumentati

25/03/2024: Invited by friends, I sit at the table in a decidedly narrow room. Despite everything, after an initial moment of discomfort, I appreciate a family atmosphere and the service staff makes me immediately feel like I'm at a family dinner. The mixed frittini at the start are excellent and the sautéed wild chicory is equally good. Noteworthy are the pieces of horse meat in sauce served in a bread crust that envelops the crock. I was then able to taste a slice of pizza with porcini mushrooms and bresaola: although the filling was really abundant, the seasoning was very limited!!! Digested everything. Compliments

26/03/2024: Excellent location and convenient location with both external and internal tables. Easy parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. The pinsa is excellent, soft and crunchy, you can immediately sense the long leavening and the attention paid to the preparation which makes it decidedly delicious. Definitely recommended. Also open for lunch with excellent dishes at a good price.

24/03/2024: I received a smartbox as a gift from my children and together with my husband we decided among the various options to choose a dinner for the two of us at Matanzenu and I must say that all in all we were satisfied. The staff was kind and attentive, fast service, satisfying food despite the change in course. The pizza was very good, enough to take half of it home. We were satisfied. Advise!

10/03/2024: I have known lu Matanzenu since I was a girl and I can say that he has always improved. Wonderful location, star vaults, it feels like crossing the door of time that takes you to the old Salento, our wonderful land steeped in history and allu Matanzenu every object speaks, teaches and explains starting from the walls. The food is excellent with attention to detail and prepared with quality ingredients, the delicious pizza can be chosen from the various doughs or taste the one by the metre, which always makes everyone agree. The owner and the staff put you at ease in a second, they are smiling, professional and kind and finally a gem arrives: their special waffle. We will be back very soon ❤

31/03/2024: The pizzas are excellent... but so are all the other dishes... but I go crazy and therefore I highly recommend the spaghetti with mussels... they are truly out of this world... The service is also second to none...
