07/08/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was excellent, you get a 110/110 with honors. Special compliments to Simone and Matteo, their 360-degree professionalism.
07/08/2026: My partner is from the area and recommended we go for a dinner, since then we have returned every year. While of course the selection of beef is the are of the show, we can highly recommend trying their starters, the burrata with tartar was incredibly delicious! Also worth mentioning the quality of bread and olive oil they serve on the side, often times neglected but the bread is fresh and delicious and the olive oil was the best I’ve ever tasted! We will be back for sure :)

01/08/2026: The food was good and we got great wine with it (their house wine is specially made for this restaurant). But the most amazing part of the night was the people that run the place! They make this amazing Mirto liquor variation themselves. Make sure to try it!

17/02/2026: A little disappointed.....(I'll start by saying that we've been there several times, in the past we've had a good time, the pizzas are good and so is the rest, the prices are always excellent)....this time something went wrong....the fried food was inedible, many pieces were still frozen...if you call them pittule to me...in the heart of Lecce you're ruined...if you don't offer them you'll make a better impression....in any case, they kindly changed them for us and brought them hotter..I also found a difference in the pizza, edible but not satisfying...5⭐️ I give them to the very fresh beers and 5⭐️ to the curly brunette lady who served us very delicious...excellent entertainment with music & karaoke....

27/06/2026: Every trip we make to Salento and Lecce includes several visits to Trattoria Da Rosario in Cavallino. Visiting this generational family run Trattoria has become a tradition for us. The food is absolutely outstanding, with authentic, home-cooked Salento cuisine made using fresh local ingredients. Every dish is full of flavour and beautifully prepared.
The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and genuinely Italian, making every visit a pleasure. If you’re looking for a true taste of real Salento, this is the place to come.
A special mention also, to Andrea who has always been most kind and helpful to us. Explaining what certain translations meant in the local dialect and recommending local delicacies.
We’ve returned year after year, and it has never disappointed. Without doubt one of our favourite restaurants in Salento. Very highly recommended!

13/10/2024: Frittini scarsi e senza sale, pizze cotte alla “come capita”, con oltretutto ingredienti mancanti (nella mia era prevista la scamorza, ma decisamente non ce n’era). Esperienza da dimenticare. Peccato perché ce ne avevano parlato bene!
13/09/2024: Mai... mai più. Sono stato invitato ad una cena di famiglia . Cibo di scarsa qualità, personale improvvisato, non avevano nemmeno le bibite disponibili (solo una coca cola a temperatura ambiente e del vino "caldo"....), i familiari che ci mi hanno inviato si sono scusati con me per la figura fatta, ma la mia risposta è stata: la brutta figura non l'avete fatta voi , la brutta figura è stata fatta dal proprietario dell'agriturismo La Lizza...... in questo posto non ci tornerò mai più, ne personalmente, ne da ospite.....
