You can choose from an "aperitivo" platter with many small portions, a mini sandwich with cured meats, various cold cuts, a small plate of ravioli, eggplant in oil, or a mini salad with salmon and orange. You can also choose from a variety of delicacies, such as a delicious, generously filled fried calzone, or other specialties. Good coffee and creamy coffee. You can also order a brioche with gelato. Very reasonable prices. A pleasant discovery. 2025 is a confirmation: the quality of the aperitivo platter and the friendly service.

14/09/2025: Quality, kindness, and courtesy are three rare traits found in a venue, but at Bar Castrum in Castrignano del Capo, they're a hallmark. We arrived late for aperitivo, which was just closing time, yet the staff greeted us with a sincere smile and great professionalism. They patiently waited for us to finish, never making us feel rushed. An experience worth repeating: we'll definitely be back, and this time on time ;-)

12/11/2025: A fantastic restaurant with a very pleasant and friendly team—they effortlessly fulfill all our wishes. We visited on the recommendation of our Italian friend Giorgio and were not disappointed. The food is beautifully presented and absolutely delicious: pizza, fish, and desserts of the highest quality. At our request, they even prepared a delicious fish soup for our last day. The wine selection is excellent. A bonus for dog lovers: dogs are very welcome, and a bowl of fresh water is provided. Highly recommended!

08/11/2025: A good place to eat good pizzas, and they deliver on time. The only downside for non-smokers like me: the door is sometimes left open, and smoke from outside enters the dining room and is noticeable...

23/08/2025: Excellent breakfast! We started the day off right thanks to this welcoming and well-kept bar. The staff was exceptionally kind, smiling, and attentive, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Recommended! (Especially the chocolate shell!!!!)

It's without a doubt the best restaurant we've been to since the beginning of our stay in Puglia. And what about the welcome? A huge thank you to our server, who took care of us with rare attention, from the beginning to the end of the meal. An unforgettable experience, which we recommend without hesitation. 🙏💫

16/11/2025: We booked for four. The restaurant is well-maintained, complete with star-shaped vaulted ceilings, and it's not excessively noisy despite its small size. The pizza is cooked to perfection and the ingredients are excellent, especially the smoked provola cheese on my pizza, which filled the room with a magnificent aroma. Bread and mortazza is an excellent appetizer, and even though it's fried, the pizza goes down easily. The wait staff was patient, and the service was prompt. The waitresses, however, were a bit aloof, as if they were in a rush (it was Saturday, I understand), but I must say they are committed, hard-working people. List of dishes/drinks ordered: Bread and mortazza, provola cheese and pepper, blackberry, impiccato, martinese with chips, mangiafuoco (shared between two), water, and two Cokes. All for €21 per person (total €84). Positive things I noticed: the oven inside is very clean (it appears to be gas) and the bathroom is well-maintained. It was a pleasant surprise. 06/11/2025: Ristorante Underground lives up to its name: nestled in a vaulted stone cellar, it offers an intimate and unique atmosphere. The menu features local dishes with a modern twist, all beautifully presented and delicious. The service is attentive and warm, contributing to a relaxed ambiance. I ordered an excellent pan-seared fish fillet in a crust: the waiter told me it was monkfish, but I think it was actually sea bass. The price is reasonable for the area, especially considering the unique setting and the quality of the ingredients.
