06/04/2026: Easter Monday, knowing the owner, a very good person, I don't doubt it, I understand that the coastal road doesn't offer much, even during the period, prosecco €5 at the counter without even a minimum of appetizers seems exaggerated to me, with the addition that it was also put in a plastic cup.

02/12/2025: We decided to celebrate a birthday here. We arrived at 9 PM, and after a 30-minute wait, the seafood and meat appetizers arrived. Very good food, and the staff were friendly. As soon as we started with the appetizers, we ordered pizzas to save time, since we had an elderly woman and her relatives with us (seven in total), who obviously couldn't be late. And that's where the problem lies. The pizzas arrived (some of them wrong) after a TWO-HOUR wait, at 12:00/12:15 AM to be precise, after the seven people had already left. We raised the issue, but all we got were shrugs. When it came time to get the (salty) bill, we reiterated that they could have easily informed us about the long waiting times, at least we would have avoided ordering those extra pizzas... in response, only excuses and unfounded justifications in an arrogant and presumptuous tone from the person I believe to be the owner... I appreciate the appropriateness in choosing the restaurant's name...

26/12/2025: Nice place, very traditional, and the food is good. We went there for Christmas lunch. The food was excellent, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

17/12/2025: Deliberately left rustic and rustic, it's actually a quality restaurant. We were immediately offered toasted bread with delicious local olive oil, and the home-cooked dishes were equally delicious. Recommended.

Master Giovanni, always present and attentive, imparts nuggets of wisdom on the art of pastry making, sharing many interesting anecdotes from his long experience in the industry... it's always a pleasure to listen to him. And then there's the quality, so much quality, of all the products, still prepared artisanally with love and passion. I continue to recommend this place, as I have since 1993, the year I began visiting lower Salento. Pasticciotto, a gold medal. For me ☆☆☆☆☆S.

03/09/2025: I honestly don't understand the cold or negative reviews for this restaurant. Splendid location near the Castle in a historic and truly characteristic square. All the dishes were more than good. Portions were not excessive but honest. We really enjoyed it. THANK YOU. P.S.: with The Fork discount, it's a crime not to go!

29/08/2025: We ordered pasta with mussels and cherry tomatoes...the pasta wasn't fresh, the dish was completely unprepared, and the mussels were tiny!! We also ordered an octopus salad...tasteless! Lastly, a three-year-old girl was even charged for the service charge without having consumed anything! The location is beautiful. The waiter was very kind and polite, but the young woman, who barely spoke Italian, wasn't so much as asking for feedback when she picked up her plate. It seems like a commercial place that tries to repurpose traditional dishes without the necessary love and tradition. The prices are high. The menu doesn't list frozen ingredients...you have to ask to find out what's fresh and what's not.
