03/05/2026: I'm celiac and I'm so happy to have discovered this fantastic pastry shop!! The staff were very kind, and the lady at the counter was friendly and helpful... What can I say about the products? The pasticciotto was delicious, with a very delicate cream, the cream puffs were well-filled and came in a variety of flavors. I personally loved the cream and hazelnut ones (amazing!), the delicious croissants, and then the milk biscuits, very delicate and crumbly, perfect for dipping in the morning but also for devouring just like that... I have to compliment those who dedicate themselves to creating delicious gluten-free products that are every bit as delicious as gluten-containing products... Thank you so much, Sara...

12/10/2025: A lovely place to spend an evening with friends, with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for a car enthusiast. The staff is helpful and friendly. Excellent bruschetta and very original sandwiches. A memorable experience, highly recommended.

We chose a grilled meat for two, which far exceeded our expectations: excellent quality, perfectly cooked, and authentic flavors. Attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. An experience worth repeating. Don't miss the fruit gelato served in a refined caramel basket.

17/03/2026: Very elegant restaurant but we were disappointed by the food. Gracious service. I had pasta with lobster which was quite nice. The sauce ofolive oil and cherry tomato was light and bright. The tail had been loosened from the shell but it was difficult to get at any other meaty bits as no special implements were provided nor finger bowls. I expect diners here are too elegant to wrestle with their shellfish. My companion had grilled swordfish which was dry. The steaks were very thin, less than a centimetre thick. That’s likely a management decision which makes the work of the kitchen staff near impossible. We ordered two contorni. Grilled mixed vegetables were tough and dry for the most part. Partly the consequence of slicing courgettes and aubergines too thinly. Partly the decision to over-grill resulting in a good looking dish at the expense of tenderness. There was a bottle of olive provided that helped. No seasoning. The other dish of aubergine salad was tasty and well seasoned from capers but served stone cold straight from the fridge. It could have been improved by serving slightly chilled or at room temperature.

28/02/2026: I'm still sitting here at the table, completely satisfied with my lunch at La Pignata. Friendly service, excellent cuisine, and good music. A relaxed atmosphere and attentive, smiling service, even accommodating requests for variations, like my amazing spaghetti with mussels in white sauce, with just 3 or 4 cherry tomatoes... exceptional! 😍 Thanks to all the staff, I'll take home so much pleasure!

06/01/2026: We went with a group of 26 friends to lunch at this delightful little restaurant in the heart of Otranto on January 3, 2026. We were welcomed by Mrs. Doriana with warmth and kindness. The food and price were excellent. I highly recommend it.

I hadn't booked, but the staff was incredibly kind and found me a table right away: a truly impeccable welcome. I ate very well, with fresh, high-quality ingredients, carefully prepared dishes, and authentic flavors. The service was excellent, attentive, and friendly throughout the meal. An absolutely positive experience: I'll gladly return and definitely recommend it.

21/02/2026: Seafood restaurant in Gallipoli. We went as a couple and ordered grilled swordfish, breaded and oven-baked Gallipoli red prawns, and grilled vegetables. A quick lunch, made with quality ingredients.

30/04/2026: In a truly picturesque square, the Provenzano pastry shop and ice cream parlor. It's as if time had stood still, standing before the counter where cookies, pastries, chocolates, almond paste and marzipan sweets, and... ice creams are beautifully displayed. The tasteful atmosphere, the courtesy of the owners (pastry chefs since 1920), and the quality of the product make all the difference. Try it and believe it!

13/04/2026: We had two coffees and were charged two euros for service. It's the first time in my life I've been charged table service just for sitting down to drink a coffee. And we didn't even get the cheapest one. And, truth be told, it gets worse: on the menu, table service costs 50 cents. The owner's indignant expression (because we weren't tourists and dared to take a table in his bar) when he asked us to pay spoke volumes; he let off steam by charging us double the cover charge. Apparently, he hasn't learned how to treat locals.
