There are meals, and then there are meals. This was certainly the latter. Though in a way, I suppose it was the former, too.
Thoroughly recommend this spot to anyone in the area. And anyone outside the area as well.

A fishermen's inn... This is the rustic and traditional atmosphere of the Taverna del Porto.
A seafood-focused menu, featuring unmissable raw fish dishes, best enjoyed upstairs with a sea view.
The wine list is extensive, perhaps too influenced by other regional wines.
The French sparkling wines are a good pairing for seafood.
The tagliolini with fish tartare are fresh and tasty.

Everything was perfect, from the appetizer to the dessert, including the wine and the service. The flavors were spot-on, the portions were generous, and the place was lovely and beautifully decorated. If you're in the area, don't hesitate for a second! A truly wonderful experience :)

One of the best experiences in Salento.
The location, the welcome, the service, and the food—everything was absolutely perfect. The dishes were incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection; quite possibly the best grilled octopus I've ever had.
We'll be back as soon as we can. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening.

One of the best meals I’ve had. The freshest raw seafood I may have ever tasted. The shrimp brought a tear to my eye :)

It was an amazing sensory experience. From appetizers to dessert, everything was served with care, dedication, and unparalleled freshness. And what can we say about the aroma of
fresh bread, carefully prepared in front of you, that intoxicates all the senses. The impeccable service and the sea view are the perfect backdrop to this wonderful restaurant. Recommended. We'll be back!
