17/05/2026: To call it a terrible experience is an understatement. Starting with the inaccessible smartphone menu, we ended up paying €10.30 for a simple crepe with Nutella—nothing special, you can find better at the kiosks around—and a small bottle of water. It was as if it were gold.

The pasta was excellent, and the wine recommendations were great too! I highly recommend this off-the-beaten-path spot in a lovely neighborhood.
04/05/2026: I'm disappointed because I wanted tomatoes with borage. I even showed a video to make sure I got the right thing. I got tomato and mozzarella bruschetta instead 😏.
And I waited 30 minutes when there was no one else there. I should have left...

16/05/2026: It's the seaside bar of my childhood memories. Having been barely a baby, I've visited Porto Badisco every summer over the years. The old charm, though somewhat changed, endures, and every time I return, I feel the holiday feeling. The bar is the heart of Porto Badisco, with its Lecce coffee, its traditional croissants you have to try early in the morning, its legendary panini, and the huge tub of sea urchins for lunch. If I find any old photos, I'll post them. Bar Carlo Porto Badisco ❤️

11/05/2026: A truly captivating experience at this magnificent estate: the occasion was Easter lunch, where we enjoyed the high-quality food in a setting immersed in the beauty of Salento's countryside, among olive groves and dry-stone walls. You can dine both inside and on the spacious outdoor terrace overlooking a large lawn. The owners' attention to detail, the food, and the staff, is evident throughout. I'll gladly return!
10/05/2026: I had lunch with my family on April 25th and we promised to return! Just a stone's throw from Otranto, surrounded by nature. Excellent cuisine with traditional Salento dishes and high-quality ingredients. A welcoming place and very friendly staff. Recommended.
