12/10/2025: I spent the evening at this restaurant for a birthday, and the menu was a pleasant surprise: many tastings and delicious, original, and very good appetizers, as was the first course. The atmosphere is beautiful, with vaulted ceilings and exposed walls in almost every room. The staff is very friendly.

15/11/2025: We were at the restaurant last year and had a wonderful time. For this reason, we decided to return this year, and the experience was once again excellent. The food is very good, delicious dishes of excellent quality, fresh fish carefully prepared by the owner's mother. This time we ate: raw red prawns, octopus, a couple of different pasta dishes, pasticciotto cake, homemade limoncello—all delicious! But what makes the restaurant even more special, besides the little square it overlooks, is the owner's hospitality, his wife's attentive service, and the professionalism and expertise of the two family members in the dining room, who made us feel at home and ensured a wonderful evening. 07/11/2025: What can I say? Simply a fantastic place, excellent pizzas (we only had pizza and I'll base this review on that), very little wait time, and everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. The pizzas taste amazing, I'm not a big pizza fan, actually, but I loved this one. In my opinion, the autumn pizza is the best, I highly recommend it. The staff is kind and friendly, excellent at putting customers on good terms, and the prices are fair and even affordable in my opinion. I'll definitely be back ♡

27/10/2025: The setting is architecturally beautiful, just like it used to be, except you can't breathe. Seven of us had lunch here on a fairly hot day, and unfortunately, we had to leave after a while because the air was too hot. There's no music, so the place is very quiet. The service needs updating because they tell you the daily menu by word of mouth, and you don't have time to remember all the dishes and their individual ingredients, and you don't even know the prices. The same goes for the wines... there's no list with the selection and prices. The food is good, but in my opinion (I come from a family of restaurateurs), the dishes lack character. They lack that extra kick, that explosion of flavors that makes you say, "Wow, I ate something incredible, I'll be back for X dish." If you like delicate flavors, though, it's a good osteria, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend the desserts, probably prepared by someone else who studied pastry making; they're truly exceptional. This place has potential to grow if the chef is willing to push the envelope a little.

10/11/2025: Diner with my love. It’s a cold night here in Gallipoli, 20 degrees but with a cold wind coming from the sea! Totani are a type of flying squid, similar to calamari, but they are not the same. While both are common in Italian cuisine and often confused, they have distinct differences in texture, flavor, and how they are best prepared. As an entrée. Tagliolini pesce spade con curvumen and swordfish for me.

31/10/2025: We spent a lovely evening in the company of friends, the pizzas are really good, you can choose from many types of pizzas and many types of dough... Like turmeric, wholemeal, cereal and many others... the staff is very kind and professional.

18/10/2025: A beautiful property surrounded by greenery. The owner is incredibly kind; you can immediately tell he loves his job. Local produce is used. A place that takes you away from reality, both for the beauty that surrounds you and the quality of the food served. I think I made the best choice for the location, the food, and the staff. My mom was so happy to celebrate her birthday here. Congratulations again!

12/10/2025: If you want to try authentic Salento cuisine, this is the place to be. Everything was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

06/10/2025: The restaurant is simply decorated and the staff is very helpful. I like traditional cuisine from the south of Italy and we had the following; Crostino with Scante ricotta, sautéed tomato and cacioricotta Crostino with burrata Cantabrian anchovies and lemon zest Eggplant parmigiana Homemade tagliatelle with pesto, crispy capocollo and cherry tomatoes Homemade ricciatelle with 14 fresh tomatoes, pecorino and basil and drank excellent homemade red wine Li Veli Susumaniello everything was very good, a real gastronomic delight.. (I copied the names of the dishes from their web menu)

11/10/2025: Incredibly nice staff, genuinely service-minded and friendly. The food was tasty, reasonably priced and we also got absolutely perfect "petolles" as an extra dish. Fresh seafood and generous portions! Bonus was that the dog could also come along.

09/11/2025: Elegance, attention to detail, and quality ingredients characterize all of Gioré's dishes. We dined for two, sampling appetizers, first courses, and second courses, both seafood and meat. The persimmon cheesecake is a must-try. Everything was delicious. The only negative I'll mention because it's part of the experience: unfortunately, we found a considerable amount of mussels in the seafood first course. An oversight that, however, doesn't detract from the restaurant's caliber.

11/09/2025: A lovely place with lots of outdoor tables in a quaint little square. Almost no traffic. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches, and they're all worth trying. I've been there twice, and it's always been a discovery of new flavors. It's also great for families with children, as they serve delicious fries. It's a great place to try in the summer, but I'm not sure how it is in the winter. There are free parking spaces in front of the place (often busy) or in the narrow streets nearby. The staff is friendly and attentive, almost like family.
