Great place..a little pricey but worth it

The place is a bit spartan; perhaps the music is a bit too loud, and given the large number of diners, it can be a bit noisy. The food is delicious, the portions are generous. The fish is fresh, and the staff is very friendly. Service is prompt. I recommend booking; it's a weekday, and it was practically packed. (In the photo, King Pacchero, but I had already eaten a good portion before taking the photo 😊)

After my excellent experience in Moncalieri, last night I decided to try Il Pacchero in Rivoli, and I must say, it was perfect again. It's rare to find such consistency in quality and customer service. The first thing you notice is the meticulously maintained open kitchen. Seeing the team working in such a gleaming setting instills instant confidence in the quality of what you're about to eat. Here, too, I was pleased to find the same meticulous care in sterilizing cutlery and menus. It's a trademark that truly makes a difference in terms of guest comfort. The food was simply excellent. Masterfully prepared dishes, fresh ingredients, and portions that fully satisfy both the eye and the palate. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained. The staff once again demonstrated a rare level of kindness and professionalism, managing the service with perfect timing. A special mention goes to the bill, which was decidedly fair and in keeping with the high level of the experience offered.

I expected something more authentic and less seasoned from a €20 fish entree, "il re Pacchero," paccheri with lobster. The service and food were neither good nor bad.

Unfortunately, the overall experience is marred by the extremely noisy atmosphere: on Saturday night, conversation at the table was truly difficult. The place has potential, but several details make it seem less refined than it could be. The entrance, with large metal doors and steps where people wait or stop to smoke, creates a rather chaotic initial impression. Even some internal areas, such as the cafeteria and the area overlooking the kitchen, appear under-appreciated and a bit neglected. The food is good, but the impression is that the focus is entirely on filling the place, while the atmosphere and attention to detail are secondary.

The pasta is homemade and you can taste it: the pasta with ragù cooked for 8 hours is spectacular, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The elegant yet welcoming atmosphere is perfect for both a more elaborate lunch and a family dinner. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always available to recommend the perfect wine. Excellent value for money, especially considering the freshness of the ingredients. A place you'll want to return to, highly recommended for those seeking flavor, quality, and impeccable service!
