10/01/2025: Traditional cuisine, you eat a fixed menu starting with a platter of cured meats, cheeses, cecina, mulled wine jelly, fresh red cabbage salad. Then polenta taragna and polenta concia are served, with various condiments such as stew, radicchio, sausage. Desserts are included in the menu. I was pleasantly surprised by a panna cotta with pear jam made by them.

13/01/2025: A wonderful restaurant with traditional Piedmontese cuisine. The menu includes polenta, game, pasta, and one of the dishes of historical cuisine - brains. We didn't dare use our brains. Polenta is beyond praise, venison and antipasti.

22/09/2024: Ice cream shop in the center of Almese. Small but welcoming and very clean place. Kindness and professionalism are at home. They always know how to advise you for every need. I buy ice cream every now and then and the quality is always very good. Try the dark chocolate, it's really delicious!! And what about their almond granita... it's superb!! We purchased an ice cream cake, which in addition to being beautiful was also very good! Our guests were thrilled. Excellent price quality. Highly recommended!

05/01/2025: Given the character of the place (bookshop and bar), I reluctantly write a very negative review I come with two foreign friends specifically for an experience in a bar like theirs. We ask to be allowed to sit inside, as we don't have room they send us back outside (that's fine). We ask if we can order inside and are told no, that the waiters have to come to the table. Following their instructions, we go out and after waiting 15 minutes, I go back inside to ask for information. I find a waiter who hastily and rudely replies that he would come as soon as he could, and that in any case there were tables to serve before me. 20 minutes after we sat down, our order was taken (3 bicerin and a banana bread). It's a shame that for a further 25 minutes (for a total of 45 minutes of waiting) none of us were able to receive what we requested. After almost an hour of waiting I went back inside: here I admit that I found the bartender mortified and extremely kind, who apologized profusely (allowing me to sympathize with her and repress the anger she had brought inside me); the waiter, on the contrary, maintained a hasty and almost careless attitude towards the customers, not to say contemptuous. We canceled the order and left, I having an appointment and my friends other trips to do, having only taken a boat of cold

Excellent first courses: taiarin with livers and plin! The mixed boiled meat with the accompanying sauces is truly excellent!! The boiled meat, as well as being excellent, is also a hearty dish: it is advisable to share it. The chestnut pudding exceeded all expectations!! The guy who served us is also very smart and professional! Today I ate gnocchi with tomato and rocket and a delicious tarte tatin while Davide had wild boar and baked potatoes. We liked the idea of ​​starting the new year eating with them and as always we were happy 🥳☺️😊
