25/07/2025: A welcoming restaurant with an extremely refined menu showcasing chef Maurizio's creativity. The waitress/sommelier is extremely attentive to every wine-food pairing and has a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommended, exceptional.

23/08/2025: We stopped for gelato at the Albergo-Ristorante L'Incontro and had a wonderful time, both for the delicious gelato and the beautiful location. The property is located right next to Lake Meugliano: an enchanting spot, cool in the summer and ideal for a relaxing stroll, accompanied by the sound of the water. It's a place that exudes tranquility and allows you to enjoy nature in complete relaxation. The atmosphere is truly pleasant, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a regenerating break. The only slightly negative note is the prices: we paid €30 for five gelatos, which is a bit above average. However, the location is truly worth it and makes the experience highly recommended.

05/09/2025: I went for dinner, the menu was good: classic Piedmontese dishes, carefully prepared and good. Fair prices. I had the opportunity to go for an aperitif, which was also good and honest; only the aperitif with appetizers baskets with chips and taralli: 5 euros (without cutting board)

19/08/2025: I'm correcting my previous review because the panzerotti aren't as good as they used to be (old post), too much sugar in the dough (what's the point of sugar in panzerotti anyway?). The liver skewers (gnumaredd) had to be reheated several times because they were dry. A disappointment 😞 shame.

17/08/2025: Excellent panzerotti, well-filled. We ordered from Glovo and they arrived piping hot and well-packaged. Quick and friendly delivery, handled directly by the restaurant.

29/08/2025: A lovely surprise in San Salvario. Attentive, professional, and discreet service. The owner, Santino, was won over by his reserved charm. Dishes were beautifully presented and well-prepared. Here's what we ordered: Two sparkling waters Eggplant caponata Palermo-style breaded swordfish Anchovies and panelle Cuttlefish ink tagliolini with swordfish Torrone semifreddo A coffee A truly interesting bottle of catarrh A must-try. Total €60 per person

22/06/2025: Excellent pizza, crispy and even the next day it hadn't become a slipper, the rest of the food was also excellent. Some uncertainty in the service with the arrival of dishes not intended for us, but the situation was resolved quickly

21/06/2025: The food as a whole very good but... This time I tried the pulled pork sandwich, I have to say that the combination of pulled pork and barbecue sauce is not so good, the pulled pork already has that flavor and adding the sauce also makes it too strong in taste, probably I'm weak stomach because I couldn't finish it. I'm not saying for any reason that it's not good the quality is excellent, but for some sandwiches the spicy was a bit too high compared to average, beautiful place you eat really well highly recommended.

19/08/2025: It's best to book in advance because it's very busy. The staff and manager are very welcoming. They are multilingual, making communication very easy. The setting is modern, elegant, and very clean, with very original and delicious pasta recipes. We recommend it.

10/09/2025: I went for a birthday dinner and the wait for the appetizers (which were undoubtedly already prepared) was 50 minutes! Too bad mine (ricotta-stuffed zucchini flowers on zucchini pesto) was partly cold and partly scalding hot… I went to complain, especially about the wait, but, besides giving me a dirty look, they didn't even deign to answer me.

10/09/2025: Welcomed and accompanied by excellent service, you can sample truly excellent cuisine, with the second courses being better than the first courses, and a surprising cheese cart with a wide selection of excellent quality. To round out the meal, a beautifully presented dessert cart offers a mix of traditional Piedmontese wines and delicacies. The wine list is very solid, with both reds and whites, including a good selection of half bottles. It's worth repeating that the service is incredibly impeccable and complements the meal in a unique way. One small flaw, which nevertheless adds to the place's character, is the slightly dated furnishings. Highly recommended.

23/08/2025: A fixed-price business lunch of €15, including a first course, second course, side dish, and desserts, water, wine, coffee, and limoncello. Very tasty traditional dishes, friendly staff, and a somewhat noisy atmosphere.

20/08/2025: Absolutely, a great experience, and one that requires advance reservations, ESPECIALLY on holidays because it's always very busy. Typical Piedmontese fare with creative touches. Local products, phenomenal wines, friendly and courteous service, and a palpable "feel" as soon as you enter the restaurant. You won't be disappointed, nor will you go hungry. Well done 💪🏼✨

10/09/2025: This is a classic restaurant with a 1970s-1980s feel in a casual setting with a touch of elegance. There's also an outdoor seating area, and we're right off Piazza Vittorio. The restaurant offers three tasting menus (fish €50; Piedmontese €32; and Sicilian €32), while the menu features mostly Sicilian dishes (primarily seafood), but also focaccias, gourmet pizzas, some seasonal dishes offered off-menu, and a fine wine list. We shared a mixed swordfish appetizer (€20), featuring samples of cooked, raw, fried, and au gratin fish (mussels au gratin, smoked salmon and swordfish, poached baby octopus, tuna meatball, etc.); 2 main courses (€38): an excellent mixed fried fish and a delicious swordfish roll (one of the best dishes on the menu); 1 side dish (€10): a generous and varied portion of grilled vegetables; 1 dessert (€5): a lemon sorbet. To accompany the dinner, water and ½ liter of house white wine (a Chardonnay that I enjoyed less than usual; Inzolia was unavailable) brought the bill to €85: 1 appetizer, 2 main courses, 1 side dish, 1 dessert, water, ½ liter of house white Chardonnay, and complimentary Zibibbo wine. The service is excellent, attentive, and cheerful, as is the kind owner, and there's a homely atmosphere and the feel of a fine old-fashioned restaurant... Absolutely recommended! P.S.: Although the menu features Piedmontese dishes and pizza, I recommend it primarily for those who appreciate Sicilian cuisine (both seafood and meat).

05/09/2025: A good restaurant behind Piazza Vittorio. It was my first time there. The porcini and shrimp tagliatelle were good, but the fried porcini mushrooms were well-cooked, but some of the mushroom slices were a bit stringy. I can't say if it was due to the oil being too hot or the over-frying, perhaps on some thinner slices, but I think that shouldn't normally happen. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Nothing to complain about...

20/08/2025: French tourist: Excellent ice cream shop! I highly recommend it! Smiling and professional waitresses, fast service! The homemade ice creams are to die for... And the price is unbeatable: €4.50 for a cone of four delicious scoops! I recommend the "straciacella," "white chocolate and raspberry," "nocciola," and especially the "persipien" ice creams, which are unique (a blend of almond, chocolate, and peach).

12/08/2025: Fabulous. The very friendly staff helps you choose. The service was fast and the food excellent. They have homemade desserts and affordable prices for the area. The dishes are hearty and everything is delicious. We were 14 people and we loved it. Highlights include the baked potatoes, the pasta, the tiramisu, etc. We were caught in a heatwave, and air conditioning would have been nice. We'll definitely go back. If you're staying in the area, this is the best option.
