04/05/2025: We had lunch with a group visiting the eternal city, they welcomed us with a taste of carasau bread, delicious amatriciana and tasty roast with potatoes, welcoming and well-kept place, helpful staff. Must try. ACLI MANTOVA.

04/05/2025: Great food, inside or on the terrace. Very close to the Vatican. Friendly service and owners. As a group we ate here daily. 1st course pasta, 2nd course meat/fish/vegetarian, 3rd course dessert. Definitely for repeating.

21/05/2025: We were in Rome for a week staying close by to this restaurant and noticed it was fairly busy late evening on the first night we arrived so we thought we would give it a try the next night. We were not disappointed, we experienced great service by all the waiters, great food, a relaxed atmosphere and it was reasonable priced so we went every evening of our stay trying different pasta dishes and pizzas on the menu! In the evening there would be a slow trickle of customers both Italians and visitors then they just kept on coming filling the restaurant which we felt reassured by but it didn't feel as if it was busy or become excessively noisy as both inside tables and outside covered tables were being used, some were even being reserved! Definitely recommend!! Two large Peroni, Cheers!!

18/05/2025: Posto accogliente posizione vicino al teatro Brancaccio e a Santa Maria Magggiore, personale gentile e disponibile a ogni richiesta, menù completo, cibo buono e abbondante... Unico difetto abbiamo dovuto aspettare un po' troppo.

24/05/2025: For dinner with friends and colleagues we stopped at this tavern in the San Paolo district in a very quiet street with practically no traffic. I wasn't very hungry and so I limited myself to just a first course, a carbonara, falling once again into the temptation to taste the must of Roman cuisine. All very good, from the quality of the pasta to that of the other ingredients. The place is essential, the service is really friendly, the cooking is a little slow and the prices are average, almost competitive.

24/05/2025: Highly recommended are the typical dishes of Roman cuisine, really good coda alla vaccinara, top meatballs. Fast table service, friendliness and cordiality.

06/05/2025: Excellent cuisine, as far as I could taste, with traditional Roman dishes well executed but not excessively fatty and heavy. The service was unnerving - despite a rather simple order, after the first course we waited almost an hour for a second course and four side dishes, and another 30 minutes for dessert, while other tables around us, who arrived well after us, finished the meal in complete tranquility. The worst thing was that to our complaints while waiting for the second course and the side dishes, the waitress replied rather dryly "It depends on what you ordered" - it was a chicken with peppers (a dish definitely NOT cooked expressly), two chicory, a chicory and a portion of roasted peppers. Even after waiting for the dessert, our requests for clarification on the long wait were answered with "We have to heat the dessert ourselves, it doesn't come from the kitchen, so we have to wait". I don't know how and how much a slice of ricotta and chocolate cake should be heated, but I don't think it takes more than 20 minutes in an almost empty room...

21/05/2025: Update: It's sad how comfortably you can lie. I didn't bring any drink from outside, that's a lie. But I shouldn't expect integrity from an owner who over-charges, it's my mistake 👍🏼 ==================== They charged me for water, which I didn't order. And their tiramisu was expired and tasted bitter (but they didn't charge for it, so it's good). Overall, medium quality food, dishonest charging, I wouldn't recommend it.

30/05/2025: Expect that with ordering “cappuccino” you will pay for “double cappuccino”, and the same with “americano” 🙂 also, ordering Maritozzo - you will get Maritozzo with Gelato, which also costs more. Shit for fooling tourists

The pinsa was truly inedible. It's sad because I've been a loyal customer for years, but recently it's gotten a lot worse

01/05/2025: Menu that satisfies all tastes, some choices seem very inviting. Nice place, pizzas, which two of us got soon, were good. Very listless and indisposed service: our request to eat outside was refused because she didn't want to set the table, there were only 4 tables inside even though she was alone in the room

23/05/2025: We had dinner here 2 days ago and every family member enjoyed the their dishes. The menu lists so many interesting items. For example, Baccalà Mantecato con Funghi Porcini Arrosto (Creamed cod with roasted porcini mushrooms) and Tuorlo d'Uovo Croccante, Fonduta di Parmigiano Reggiano e Tartufo (Crispy egg yolk, Parmesan fondue, and truffle). Most surprisingly dish was the OssoBuco. It was not cooked in red tomato sauce instead it was roasted with rosemary. Never tasted a ossobuco dish in this style. Chef is such a wonderful person to chat with as well. What a lovely dinner!

18/05/2025: In a downtown alley, away from the chaos, a great place to eat, without feeling cheated by the power of being a tourist in your own city. Pumpkin gnocchi and rigatoni with oxtail sauce, simply spectacular! We will definitely be back

23/05/2025: Met z’n tweetjes gaan eten op advies van de accomodatiehost. Reserveren is aanbevolen, binnen no-time zat het vol. Kaart was beknopt maar wel heel erg authentiek. Beide 3 gangen gegeten met 1 liter huiswijn en een degustief (79 euro). Het eten was super lekker. De bediening werkte zich uit de naad (waren maar met 2 personen) vandaar helaas wat minder aandacht. De gerechten werden een beetje op tafel “gegooid” en het duurde lang na het hoofdgerecht voordat er een dessert werd opgenomen. Al met al, zeker een 9/10!
