La Vecchia Frasca In Frascati

We went with some university colleagues (about 30) to this restaurant, even arriving 45 minutes late, and we encountered incredible friendliness and a familiarity that certainly warmed our hearts and certainly made us start our journey in the best possible way. visit to Lazio. We were welcomed by an avalanche of exquisite appetizers that never ended (which I say in the most positive sense possible), unlimited wine and abundant portions of the three iconic first courses of Lazio cuisine: Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara and Amatriciana. I must say that the carbonare was quite mediocre, unfortunately, but the amatriciana and cacio e pepe were fabulous. The desserts aren't bad either. Given how, how much and what we ate, the price (30 euros per person, POS or cash) is absolutely adequate. A truly beautiful evening, and especially for us who come from Genoa, the warmth with which we were welcomed and served despite our great delay had a truly pleasant effect on us. Congratulations again and we will definitely look forward to returning.

The fried bruschetta with broccoli, stracciatella and anchovies was really good..but the first courses were also really good...

Excellent food, friendly and polite service, clean environment. With coffee a small plate of sweets... they definitely won us over. We will be back

Typical family-run restaurant in the center of Frascati, where they bring you white pizza made by them together with bread. Rich and wonderful house starter. Delicious first courses, especially the pappardelle with wild boar (handmade pappardelle and fettuccine). The second courses are excellent, not to mention the braised cheek... A delight for the palate. The house tiramisu?... Very good. The staff is courteous and attentive. I highly recommend.

Pranzo in famiglia per festeggiare un compleanno in questa trattoria di cucina tipica romana. Abbondante antipasto della casa con vari salumi, formaggi e varie alte leccornie accomapganta da una fragrante focaccia. Ottima carbonara (niente secondo prechè sazi) Buoni anche i dolci.

Great experience, friendly staff and good food.

Un sabato a pranzo con 5 amici in questo ristorante tra i vicoli del centro storico di Frascati. Dopo il ricco antipasto ‘La Vecchia Frasca’, ho mangiato un’ottima carbonara ma anche la grigliata mista di carne era eccezionale con verdura ripassata e patate al forno. Per finire, un tiramisù e una sbriciolata con crema chantilly e nutella da condividere, molto buoni. Unico neo, attesa un po’ lunga per i primi (circa 40’). Conto 47€ a persona con acqua, 2 bottiglie di vino e coperto. Parcheggi a pagamento nei dintorni.
