Komorebi Japanese Restaurant In Roma

I returned after a year for Valentine's Day, obviously booking well in advance. The venue is top-notch, both from the elegant lighting and the impeccable service. A perfect combination for a dinner with quality products and a wonderfully intimate atmosphere. Having been there in the past, I know they have excellent menu choices with many refined products to create explosions of flavor in your mouth. I must admit, however, that they were a little slow, but nothing too serious. Perhaps it's because the menu was only for Valentine's Day, and managing a new menu in just one day isn't easy, but it doesn't matter. The dishes are all very well-balanced, ensuring you'll be satisfied by the end of the evening (the desserts were so good I couldn't photograph them). From the welcome to the dessert, it's an exceptional and very special journey. The products are truly top-quality, and you'll understand it from the first taste. I see so much potential in them and hope they can realize this and perhaps open a larger, yet still very intimate, venue later on.

Amazing restaurant! It's my favorite place. I started discovering them during lockdown by ordering takeout, then I started frequenting their restaurant (the first one), following them all the way to their current location. What can I say... I've been back countless times. Product quality and ingenuity come together in a single, highly refined dish that can't be found anywhere else. They've become my benchmark, and to this day, they're still unbeatable! Thank you guys for creating such special moments. It seems obvious, but absolutely highly recommended.

Guys...a spectacle...I've never eaten so well...the freshest fish, cuisine worthy of the great multi-starred chefs...fantastic plating...courtesy, kindness, education, cleanliness and so on and so forth....

Without a doubt, my favorite restaurant. The excellent quality of the food, crafted with care and creativity. Each dish is a unique experience, an explosion of perfectly combined flavors. The attention to detail and customer service make this place a true treat. The owners and staff are adorable and wonderful. I'm truly lucky to have them in my area!

We saw Komorebi by chance, walking by one evening. The reviews seemed great, so we popped in -- and were not disappointed. Far from it! The atmosphere was nice and cozy on a November evening, the team was super engaged and helpful, very focused and into their food offering and its quality and presentation -- and the food was, wow! Superb by any standard. We focused a lot on the local "red prawns" (very similar to Japanese "amaebi" sweet prawns served raw -- always a huge favourites of ours). We had these prawns in a variety of presentations -- as tartare and sashimi, also nigiri, a very creative gunkan, and one presentation served with beautiful small elegant bao buns which worked well for mopping up two different lovely sauces. The meal was a perfect combination of ode to Japan with excellent use of top quality local seafood. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
