22/10/2025: We're giving it 5 stars, but we could easily give it 10. Service: really friendly and well-organized! You arrive and choose your meat from the counter. Then you order drinks and side dishes at the table. We found a small appetizer with olives and bruschetta on the table, which was very welcome. We had four different types of bombette—spoiler alert: all of them were amazing, the ones with artichokes were superb. Then there were magnificent breaded strips and a homemade sausage with arugula and parmesan. Top! The baked potatoes on the side were also top-notch. And finally, the pasticciotti, delicious. We left feeling very full and spent very little compared to the quantity, especially the quality, of what we ate. Highly recommended!

15/11/2025: The best place to drink coffee that almost tastes like dark chocolate! Incredible quality and a fantastic view of St. Peter's Colonnade. Great for dates, breakfasts, and brunches.

14/10/2025: Authentic place, simple but genuine. We had roast chicken, potatoes, grilled vegetables, two pizza slices, and a classic supplì: everything was delicious. The chicken was flavorful and well-cooked, with tender meat and flavorful skin. The grilled vegetables were excellent. The pizza slices were truly remarkable: light, digestible dough, and with a flavor reminiscent of old-fashioned pizza. The only small flaw: the potatoes weren't very crispy. There were a few service issues, but nothing serious and they were resolved courteously. Overall, a genuine, sincere place with authentic flavors. I really enjoyed it. Authentic. Highly recommended. Good value for money.

13/12/2025: After years of both living and traveling across Italy, I didn’t think it was possible to have a bad meal; just that some places are better than others, but they’re all at least good. Well, that changed when we ate at Dar Buttero this week. I had a soggy gnocchi dish with guanciale that was not crisped ahead of time making it mushy fat pieces, and carciofi. The dish had zero flavor. The parmesan cheese dish was almost empty and had pieces of what looked like maybe bread or pepper in it. We asked for bread and never were offered olive oil, salt, etc. The place was not busy. The tiramisu had been in the refrigerator at least a week. It was dry and not at all fresh. Maybe it was a bad night in the kitchen - it was very disappointing.

08/12/2025: Excellent value for money, friendly staff. Roman charm in the air. The two of us had an appetizer, a first course, two second courses, a side dish, water, and wine. €64... excellent... I'll definitely be back.

09/12/2025: When everything in the outskirts of Rome is closed on a Saturday night at 11:15 PM, they are a beacon. They saved our post-show evening. Thank you so much from your friends and fellow countrymen in Bari. Highly recommended for their kindness, friendliness, and excellent food!

30/11/2025: More expensive than other restaurants serving the same dishes, however you receive your good on a paper plate, plastic cutler and drinks in plastic cups. Food wasn‘t bad but not great either. Just a weird vibe

28/11/2025: We went earlier this week looking for the world famous Maritozzo, and met the great Chef Samuel. He told us they won awards for the best carbonara. So we thought we'd try that also. I had a Carbonara with a twist with anchovies, and it was delicious 😋 so creamy and so nice. The Pistachio Maritozzi was equally good! Shame there was not much seating but it's a small hidden gem in Travestere Rome.

09/12/2025: My best friend and I came to this restaurant looking for a good meal and calm service. Pietro was our waiter and he was so sweet and accomodating. He made both of us women feel completely comfortable and relaxed. The food was delicious and filling - would highly recommend this gorgeous place if you're in the area.

13/11/2025: Delicious ice cream. A variety of flavors. I tried pear, chestnut, and Greek yogurt with honey and nuts. I liked the pear the most. It had a natural flavor, but there were some bits of pear kernels that crunched in my teeth. The Greek yogurt was a bit sour, so I liked it the least. The chestnut had a rather neutral, slightly sweet flavor.

11/11/2025: Fantastic ice cream shop. Pricey, but with high-quality, generously sized ice creams. Delicious and intense flavors. A pleasant and welcoming atmosphere where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream.

22/11/2025: The place is beautiful and well-kept, but we expected better food (cracked clams that risked breaking a tooth, cacio e pepe broth, and a bitter baba with a tasteless cream). All this was served by an inattentive and poorly trained server.

16/12/2025: I dined at this restaurant for the first time with my friends last night. Despite the large crowd (reservations are recommended), I was pleasantly surprised by the staff's courtesy and hospitality. The menu features Roman cuisine, an excellent selection of grilled meats, sushi, and pizzas. I must say we ate very well, with reasonable wait times between courses. I want to leave a very positive comment for the young sushi chef, Mirko, who prepared an excellent raw fish platter and rolls that were truly beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. I'd definitely recommend returning.
