A special applause, since I love dessert, goes to the tiramisu .. exceptional .. it seems made on the spot!!! Trust the host Stefano without hesitation who will be able to give you great advice. 24/05/2025: For dinner with friends and colleagues we stopped at this tavern in the San Paolo district in a very quiet street with practically no traffic. I wasn't very hungry and so I limited myself to just a first course, a carbonara, falling once again into the temptation to taste the must of Roman cuisine. All very good, from the quality of the pasta to that of the other ingredients. The place is essential, the service is really friendly, the cooking is a little slow and the prices are average, almost competitive.

14/06/2025: fantastic food, I ate a lot and ALL the dishes were fantastic, if you want to try a typical Roman trattoria I recommend it, a small flaw that goes unnoticed thanks to the food is that the place is a bit narrow but still welcoming, finally the service was in my opinion excellent.

20/06/2025: There are several pizzerias in the area, but don't get confused, the real Roman pizza is at Pepito, a must in the neighborhood since forever. There are few places where you can still breathe a genuine air, that doesn't smell of a chain or franchise. Highly recommended to fans.

30/06/2025: We ate there for a baptism with many courses based on very fresh and delicious fish. The fried food was perfect, delicate and without oil. The spaghetti with clams was fabulous as were the appetizers, very rich and varied, as were the second courses. I ate there almost 4 years ago and the quality remained very high and unchanged. If I really had to find a flaw that unfortunately remained unchanged compared to 4 years ago, it was the risotto with scampi cream that I didn't like at all, really not up to the standard of all the other courses. If I may give you some advice, I would eliminate it from the menu or replace it with a risotto alla Pescatora. The location is not the best, quite anonymous, but it is easily forgotten for the quality and taste of the food with, in addition, an excellent price-quality ratio.

08/07/2025: With the first courses you can do better, but still of a good standard, being a very large restaurant. The location is beautiful, especially in summer with the tables in the shade of the trees of the Castelli Romani park, where the cool is guaranteed even when it is 38 degrees in Rome!

05/07/2025: Open since '51, eating here takes you back to the real Rome, the one made of chatter, simplicity and passion. We come here to eat often and every time it is an epiphany of traditional flavors. Roman cuisine without frills. Simona, one of the two owners, carries on the family tradition with so much love. If you are in the Termini area you are not wrong, here you will find hospitality and good food.

01/07/2025: We had dinner on a Friday evening in June, arriving at Termini with a great heat. They were very quick and very kind in serving us. The gricia and the cacio e pepe were really good, as were the two tarts we ordered. There are not many tables outside, while inside there is ample space. The only flaw: the kitchen closes at 10.

21/06/2025: We wanted to go to your restaurant but the men outside walked us to another spot in the alley? We had no idea why we thought it was part of your restaurant. Definitely not and the service was so slow and food wasn’t great.

21/06/2025: My first negative review ever but I feel compelled to warn you: AVOID this place. The owner lied saying he was from Canada, it was obvious so I smiled, then he said he is international and from the moon, probably lives on the moon. Told us no service charge and free glass of prosecco - Another lie, no prosecco and tried to charge us 2.50 euro for tap water, which I called out and the waiter (who was actually nice) removed it. It’s a grift, they have good sales tactics but poor execution. The carbonara was way overcooked and tasted like cheez-whiz. Worst meal we had in Rome.
