29/05/2026: Our whole stay was spoiled by building work being completed at the cinema next to the hotel. On our first morning we were abruptly woken at 7.30am by drilling and hammering that vibrated right through the room. We then faced 2 power cuts whilst getting ready and had to sit in the dark for 10 mins as we didn't want to open the curtains as there were workmen looking in which made us feel very uncomfortable. I complained at reception but was told that the hotel was at full occupancy and they could move us but not until 12 noon. This was not an option as we had booked a tour for this time so we couldn't wait around the hotel all day. We came to Rome to see the sights, not to sit and wait in the hotel for another room. When we returned later that evening we were told by reception that they had spoken to the builders and that they wouldn't start any building work until 9am and if they did start earlier the manager would get the police involved. So we went to bed hoping we could get a lie in. However at 7.45 am the next morning it started again. I rang the receptionist who said they would sort it but the banging never stopped. We got dressed and got out of the room as the constant banging was unbearable. Once again I went to reception to be offered a room for the last night but we were checking out at 6.30am the next day and our stay had already been spoiled. We're not prepared to offer any financial compensation as they offered us another room which we could move to. They were at full capacity so another guest would have had the same problem .Not bothered about their guests just want to fill their hotel.

15/05/2026: A historic restaurant offering excellent quality for both fish and meat. The raw fish is a guarantee of the highest quality. High-quality service and a pleasant indoor and outdoor atmosphere, with parking in the courtyard, are also highly recommended. Also highly recommended for special occasions.

01/05/2026: A pleasant surprise. This restaurant has just a few tables, so reservations are recommended. We stopped by on May 1st, and despite it being busy, the service was quick and courteous. The food is traditional, using local ingredients. Everything was delicious.

17/03/2026: A lovely, warm, welcoming, and tastefully decorated place. Good food, high-quality ingredients, and the option to purchase on-site. Special mention goes to the mentucciata, a popular dish typical of Tolfa. Not too cheap.

03/06/2026: Gorgeous Roman style pizza at very reasonable prices. Lovely atmosphere in a tucked-away alley, with a nice mix of locals and visitors. Save room for the tiramisu.

01/06/2026: I am highly NOT RECOMMENDING this place! We had to wait for our food for +30 mins (salad too,which was just mozzarella, tomato cherry and rucola). They brought my gf pizza BURNT and I had very bad butter aftertaste in my mouth. They didn’t even bring cola from the fridge which was right next to us. They forgot our orders, brought burnt food, and to make salad that does not require cooking took them nearly 40mins. Never coming again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO CELIACS! The waiter had a lot of attitude too.

18/05/2026: The staff were really friendly and welcoming, they took the time to explain how it worked and set up a table outside for us, the yogurt was really good, excellent quality.

10/05/2026: I happened upon this restaurant for lunch on Sunday. I can only compliment the kindness and courtesy of the staff, the divine food, and the truly enjoyable experience. I even had a dog with me, and they were very kind in choosing the most comfortable table. Highly recommended! PS: The best oxtail stew I've ever had!

14/05/2026: I've been to Rome twice now and this feels like the most authentically Italian espresso bar/"coffee shop"that I've been to. Many locals popping in for a simple espresso that they drink while standing & conversing then head out. This was the italian coffee culture I'd always heard about but hadn't really experienced until having coffee here. They're also the only coffee roaster remaining in central Rome, and while the roasts are certainly more traditionally darker than the newer specialty coffee shops that are springing up around Europe; the espresso still goes down great and the service is so so friendly.

08/01/2026: I stumbled upon it almost by chance, with an hour to spare before a screening at the Cinema Farnese, on a curfew night due to bad weather. I drank a NEIPA, then two glasses of white, letting the conversation guide me more than my thirst. Vincenzo recommended a couple of cans to take away, the kind of exchange that only happens in the right places, where the atmosphere bridges distances. I'll be back soon!

09/04/2026: I've been to Uve e Forme and I must say it was a truly successful experience. We started with burrata-filled ravioli with raw shrimp and confit tomatoes: a very balanced dish, where the creaminess of the burrata pairs perfectly with the freshness of the shrimp, while the confit tomatoes add a sweet, intense note that elegantly ties everything together. The potato gnocchi with sea bass and mint were also very successful, where the delicate flavor of the fish is enhanced by a subtle aromatic note. A clean, well-constructed dish with a pleasant overall lightness. The wine selection is also excellent—you can sense a thoughtful, thoughtful selection, with staff knowledgeable in recommending pairings that complement the dishes. The restaurant is welcoming, with a relaxed yet refined atmosphere and a clear identity that revolves around the quality of the ingredients and wine culture. Overall, a place that manages to combine contemporary cuisine with the soul of a sophisticated wine bar. I will definitely return.

25/10/2025: We were pleasantly surprised by the staff, the good food, and the reasonable prices. The table for four with comfortable, well-appointed sofas, a wide selection of wines on display, a pleasant atmosphere, and the ability to make guests feel at ease—they won us over. Excellent prices Fork reservations are also available, even on Saturdays The smart management of the place The quality and freshness of the food But what we appreciated most was the smiles and warm welcome from the managers and staff—young and very capable. When work is done with passion and enthusiasm, it shines through. The pizza is a must-try 🍕 €9.50 And the carbonara 😍 €10, incredibly good
