24/04/2024: It was my first day in Rome and I had come with my family. I appreciated the menu being in English and the lady was kind and patient since we only spoke spanish and english. A minute or two after my mom paid the bill and went to the church nearby, I went back to the restaurant because my grandmother had to go to the bathroom. As I was waiting for the lady to ask if my grandmother can use the bathroom, a tall bald man came up and asked what do we want. I told him for the bathroom and was about to say because we had eaten here, he cut me off and put his hands on me. He pulled my shoulder roughly and screamed at me telling me to get out. He kept pushing me out of the restaurant as I proceeded to tell him that we ate here not even 2 mins ago and pointed at the lady that she knows us. She began laughing at us and then as my grandma and I were almost out of the restaurant, she spoke to him in Italian and I guess told her we did eat here. He then said sorry blatantly and went to sit back outside. If it weren’t for my grandma who needed to use the bathroom eagerly, I would have been a little more tough with my word choice. Such a rude man, I believe he is the owner. This event had ruined my first day, I was about to cry from the frustration I felt because of the man’s disgusting attitude as well the women who kept smiling and laughing at how the man was treating us. You can eat at this restaurant and eat well cooked food but just be warned at how easily the people working here can switch their attitude and turn violent on you. I’m from NY and if there were hands placed on me there, they would be arrested. There are cameras there so if anything similarly happens to you with the owner then please file a police order. Wish I did but I didn’t know how to at the time.

Persone che sanno fare il loro mestiere che sanno accogliere e fare sentire graditi i Clienti e che sanno fare un sorriso, una frase gentile, che "coccolano" con molta semplicità e ottimo cibo il proprio cliente. Anche la Signora straniera che serviva gentilissima cortese e disponibile. Un ottima esperienza COMPLIMENTI

Unfortunately, yesterday we discovered that it has closed permanently after 40 years of activity, through the touching message posted outside the restaurant. It was a pleasure to have been your guests, I will remember your linguine with swordfish, cherry tomatoes, capers and Taggiasca olives. Thank you and best of luck!

08/08/2024: I never leave Rome without enjoying a full course meal at the Antico Falcone! All the dishes are hearty, the wine is very good as well and the service is terrific. I can’t mention a specific dish because everything is very tasty but if i must, i’d say the carciofo alla giudia, Carbonara, picchiapo and tiramisu for sure. 22/08/2024: Excellent experience like every time, for my anniversary it was a special dinner with innovative dishes and some old glories that are always evergreen. As usual, the impeccable service of the place enhances the experience even more which was only affected this time by a small, somewhat noisy group of people who did not fully respect the etiquette of speaking softly which like every time makes the sushisen experience even more special.

18/08/2024: The best Japanese restaurant in Rome. Managed by Giuliano, son of Japanese parents who are also always present between Rome and Tokyo: impeccable in the quality of the food, the service and the kindness. Without words, ...only compliments!

21/08/2024: What can I say, we have been coming for years and every time the food is fresh, the fish in particular the spaghetti with clams are always impeccable, yesterday we returned and had a mixed appetizer made of mussel sauce, octopus and fried squid skewers, octopus in tomato stew, cold seafood appetizer, octopus with spelled and fish carpaccio (this was only the mixed appetizer) fish for two, spaghetti with clams, risotto with scampi cream, white house wine (from fear) 🤤 still water and to finish a wonderful homemade tiramisu (amazing) the portions are very full, three of us ate, and the price was 70 euros in total, considering the quality, the fact that we were eating fish the quality/price ratio is perfect... so hurry up and go there because it's really worth it, then if you don't want fish they also make pizza with low prices but the quality and taste are impeccable.... a huge thank you to the old inn we will be back Soon

14/08/2024: Wonderful restaurant. Very friendly and really tasty. Our son had forgotten a backpack and luckily our phone number was in it. They called and brought him to the hotel. Definitely eat here if you are in the area!

15/08/2024: We ordered Roman tripe (the best of our life), Cinta Senese neck steak (very tasty), chicory (exactly how it should be done) and some pan-fried chanterelle mushrooms with some cherry tomatoes which deserve a separate mention. Exceptional, very fresh, a flavor we hadn't found for a long time. Closing with tiramisu "in their own way", nice idea 🫶🏻 Highly recommended, we'll be back with the children and grandmother in two days, we can't wait to taste the first courses, fresh pasta made by them! Friendly, pleasant, punctual and always present service.

06/08/2024: Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, il titolare (credo) gentile, disponibile e molto preparato soprattutto sui vini. Il ristorante è una cantina d'epoca, tenuta perfettamente con una parte esterna molto graziosa. Sarà che da noi è tutto molto più caro ma abbiamo mangiato veramente bene e con prezzi decisamente contenuti. Consigliatissimo!
