06/05/2026: Excellent service, especially from Chef Joaquín who showed us the step-by-step process of making the pasta, all done with Italian mastery. The tagliolini al tartufo was divine! I highly recommend it!

15/04/2026: Excellent pizza. Chicken and vegetables or pasta dishes as well. Not much room inside to eat. Staff are polite out of duty, but not truly friendly. Almost as if they don't listen to customers except out of duty. Not a positive impression.

24/03/2026: We discovered POPI PIZZA quite by chance, and it was a very pleasant surprise. The welcome was extremely friendly: the woman who served us was lovely and very attentive. Even though we didn't speak the same language, she made a real effort to communicate with us with a smile, which touched us deeply. She offered to let us eat in, to reheat our pizza slices, and also suggested drinks to accompany our meal. A simple but much appreciated gesture. As for the food, everything was excellent. I chose a slice of mozzarella pizza, which was flavorful, generous, and perfectly balanced. My husband opted for the vegetable pizza, which was equally delicious and well-topped. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. We truly have nothing but positive things to say about this place: a warm welcome, thoughtful touches, and high-quality pizzas… A simple but genuine place that deserves to be discovered.

01/05/2026: My wife and I came here for a late lunch after checking into our hotel. We waited maybe 10 mins for a table (we were sat outside which is precisely what we were hoping for). The food was excellent: we each had a pasta dish and shared an artichoke dish which was phenomenal. The 0.5 litre of the house ref was a great way to begin our day in Rome. All in for ~€50. Oh and our waiter was great, very nice and made us laugh. I’d love to come back again.

02/06/2026: I went to Pentolaccia for lunch with friends. We sat outside because it was so nice, and the setting was as elegant and clean as the inside. I ordered baked salmon with pea puree, a glass of white wine, and lemon sorbet. Everything was delicious and top-notch! We'll definitely be back!

26/05/2026: The portions are very small. Everything is very scarce. The ham slices are very thin, almost transparent. The same goes for the steak. It's expensive for the service.

28/04/2026: A good osteria in the San Giovanni area. You can choose between meat and fish dishes. The appetizers are very good, accompanied by excellent, fresh bread. Recommended for a casual dinner where substance prevails over appearance. The dishes are simple yet authentic and flavorful, and the prices are in line with other restaurants in the city. Upon entering, you'll experience a sense of culinary tradition and authenticity.

27/04/2026: On the recommendation of Roman friends, I dined at this restaurant, and I must say it did not disappoint. This Roman trattoria is a great place for lunch or dinner, a relaxing experience with excellent food. The atmosphere is superb, and the service is top-notch. 20/05/2026: This is still one of those authentic Roman places that doesn't lapse into folklore but maintains the values ​​of good cuisine in a simple yet authentic setting. Excellent food, with a special mention for the carbonara, certainly among the best in Rome. Portions that to call generous would be an understatement, and very fair prices! Unfortunately, I don't live nearby, but every time I'm in the area, I find an excuse to stop here. Open only for lunch, except Friday evenings and a few other exceptions. Reservations are highly recommended. Another kudos to the basic but attentive service.

19/05/2026: Fortunately, we had a great stay in this neighborhood and were pleased to discover this restaurant. The service was quick and attentive, the prices were very fair, and our dishes were wonderful!

14/02/2026: Best pizza, best drinks, best people. We visited the place every single day and we simply fell in love with it. I can’t wait to be back in Rome to relive this incredible experience cause I’m really going to miss it. Shout out to Lorenzo, Luca and Roberto and all the staff for making our evenings better with their delicious cuisine, amazing drinks and most importantly good humour and kindness:)

10/06/2026: 10 out of 10! Enjoyed scrambled eggs and bacon, a good breakfast menu to choose from Everything about this place is on point! Delicious tasty food, staff are very friendly and are attention to detail. Good atmosphere, both indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee (oat milk) one of the best we have had - oh and their freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious! Been on holiday for 4 weeks, had a lot of breakfast during this time and definitely this place is a stand out!! Thanks Osteria Cavour!

09/06/2026: A small restaurant in a San Lorenzo Roma side street serving quality food in a mostly outdoor setting. The fillet steak was superb, tender, cooked to perfection and delicious, as were the calamari and risotto. The desserts were home baked and also delicious. The staff were friendly and the service good. The side street walls are covered in graffiti but the restaurant owners either side have done their best to mask it with pretty lights hanging around. Well recommended and value for money.

29/04/2026: Stopped in after traveling around Rome all day. A hidden gem for sure! The tiramisu was the best I have ever had. The pizza, cacio e pepe dish, chicken, and Broccoli rapy were INCREDIBLE. The food reminded me of my Italian grandmothers cooking and made me feel at home. Highly recommend and will be back if we ever visit again!

28/03/2026: Lovely local restaurant. The language barrier was a slight issue but luckily a local Italian gent was in there helping us decide. The food was fresh authentic and delicious. Definitely go back. The restaurant is very much renound for fish.
