16/08/2024: A nice formula is that of offering a menu of smaller pizza sizes to allow customers to try more flavours, perhaps combining some fried food. All at very honest prices and sitting in a beautiful open space in the delightful Tivoli. Apart from the toilet being kept poorly even if it was small, the discordant note came from the owner who to my note about the overly salted cod (which remained almost intact on the plate because it was inedible) hastily replied "that's the cod": the standard etiquette of the restaurateur requires a formal "I'm sorry" and a cancellation on the account of what was not consumed due to an objective defect in the dish.

11/08/2024: Very nice and elegant place, with an excellent selection of wines, cocktails and spirits. Wonderful evenings of live music on Saturday evenings and wine and Champagne courses running several times a year. Courteous and welcoming staff.

09/08/2024: Great waiter, excellent atmosphere, very good food, nothing too much, extra cocktail (the Hugo). I recommend for all French people 🙌🏻

25/08/2024: The owner is super friendly and helpful, attentive and very cordial. The food “made with love” my brother ordered a Carbonara pasta (€12) that didn't make it to the photo but was delicious. Super recommended.

24/08/2024: VERY EXPENSIVE!!! Two coffees (he put it in a tube glass without asking for agreement), orange juice from a bottle, two croissants (normal from any basic pastry shop) €18.50 for amazing.

03/08/2024: Era da un po che non scrivevo una recensione, ma un posto del genere va assolutamente elogiato. Siamo stati in 4 a cena sabato sera, in un orario vicino alla chiusura della cucina (dettaglio non banale dato il giorno e la proposta del menu). Beh vi dico solo che non mangiavo cosi bene romano da non ricordo quanto… abbiamo preso un po tutto nel menu, vari antipasti, polpette di bollito, di vitella,battuta di manzo, mozzarella in carrozza, primi del giorno e i loro saltinbocca e cicoria e broccoletti ripassati, finendo con i loro dolci… il tutto annaffiato da franciacorta e amari finali… la spesa è stata di 50 euro a persona (mangiando come potete constatare come se fossimo il doppio e bevendo con qualità)… non c’è stato un piatto fuori posto… personale cordiale sorridente e sempre pronto ad uno scambio educato di battute. Il classico posto che diventerà la nostra tappa fissa. Ancora complimenti

12/08/2024: Beautiful outside, inside... I had the pleasure of dining at Casette York and I must say that the experience was a mix of light and shade. The location is truly enchanting: surrounded by greenery, with private and supervised parking, and the atmosphere made magical by the lights that decorate the garden. An environment that, in itself, deserves top marks. However, once inside, some aspects leave something to be desired. Let's start with the food: the cuisine is simple and homely, with the exception of the desserts which stand out in quality and presentation, demonstrating an edge over the rest of the menu. Nonetheless, you have to take into account a fairly high cost: with a starter for two, two main courses, two desserts and a cheap bottle of wine, you can easily find yourself spending over 40 euros per person. A little too much, considering the type of cuisine offered. The real Achilles' heel, however, is the service. I'm sorry to say it, but there is a lot of room for improvement. The room is too noisy and overcrowded, which takes away the serenity that is sought in a restaurant of this quality. Perhaps it would be appropriate to reduce the number of tables or adopt solutions to improve the acoustics. The waiters, although courteous, sometimes seem a little inexperienced and inattentive to the details that make the difference. An example? A simple paper copy of the menu for those who don't have a telephone at hand, or a more prepared and informed telephone booking service on the layout of the tables and the configuration of the restaurant. Small measures that would greatly improve the customer experience. In conclusion, Casette York has enormous potential thanks to its beautiful location and a gastronomic offer which, with some adjustments, could satisfy more. However, at the moment, the value for money and the service are not up to expectations. I really hope that these observations can be useful to make a further leap in quality. It's a great place, and I'd love to return in the future and find it improved!

12/08/2024: I am a regular customer and have been frequenting La Casetta di Campagna for about ten years, visiting at least four times a year. However, the last experience, on the evening of August 2nd, was decidedly EMBARRASSING. Even though we had booked, we were told that the only place available was outside, in the garden. Once seated, we realized that there was no ventilation: the garden is surrounded by walls on all four sides and occluded from above by umbrellas. We asked the waiters if it would be possible to move inside, but were told there was no availability. The situation worsened with the arrival of the main courses. The meat dishes, served on heated cast iron, arrived while the outside temperature was at least 35 degrees. All of us were completely hot, making it impossible to enjoy dinner. Furthermore, the meat, unlike what usually happens, was tough and not very tasty. The worst moment, however, was at checkout. We expressed our disappointment to the cashier about the conditions in which we were forced to eat, receiving a laconic reply: "it was your choice". At this point, I have nothing else to add other than that I will evaluate other options in the future.

To conclude, the restaurant's desserts are the perfect ending to an exceptional meal. 29/07/2024: Nice restaurant in the San Giovanni district with a pleasantly furnished and well-kept room. The pleasant menu with traditional Roman dishes and more Fast and attentive staff. We had a good time and will return.

20/07/2024: Excellent. Without knowing Rome, we opted for this restaurant because it fit all our requirements, good reviews, close to our accommodation and a good menu. I have to confess that the experience could not have been more positive, ten out of ten, restaurant far from the center, food from Romans for Romans, I think we were the only ones from outside. The pasta is on point, special mention to the Spaghetti a la vongale veraci and some exquisite desserts. We will return on the next visit to Rome.

14/07/2024: Ottimo ristorante che offre pietanze di qualità, in una location davvero bella e curata. Offre una vasta e accurata carta dei vini, ma unica pecca (non da poco), la bottiglia di vino rosso è stata servita a temperatura ambiente (24-27 gradi) rovinando il gusto e le note di una buona bottiglia di vino: da migliorare!

19/07/2024: The perfect place for an authentic Italian dining experience away from the crowds. One of the best meals I’ve had since being in Italy. I had the Amatriciana Pasta and Tiramisu. The service was amazing and the food was cheap (€13 for the pasta and €7 for the Tiramisu). I put a 3/5 for atmosphere as when I was there it was extremely quiet, which is what I wanted, but might not fit the bill if you’re wanting a lively dining experience. They had nice outdoor seating.

08/05/2024: I found this place by chance, I tried their fish sandwiches and the couscous salad with salmon and raw prawns and I have to say that it was all delicious as well as fresh and of excellent quality!
