11/05/2026: Not sure where all the high level reviews are coming from and I’m not sure why people were waiting in a line outside to get in. This is tourist trap food and service. We are here about 15 years ago on our first visit to Italy. I decided to make a reservation and return because we enjoyed our first visit to the original restaurant so much. It was a mistake. Trastevere is overrun and super crowded. It used to be quaint. No longer. Very noisy restaurant. Rushed service. Crowded. Blah food. Bad atmosphere. Not authentic. Locals would not be caught dead there. Do your homework better than I did, and find authentic Roman food (we did the other three nights, not this night), if you would like a good dinner while in Rome.

I found the enormous sea bream accompanied by abundant cooked and raw vegetables very interesting! Delicious! The pasta would have been better if cooked a little more al dente!

18/12/2025: This little place is delightful: intimate, well-kept, and welcoming. Whether it's a stopover or a place to rest, it makes you want to come in!
The interior, set apart from the rest of the place, creates privacy and is surrounded by books and well-contextualized objects. And what about the quality of the products? Selected and not cheap. The roasting is the icing on the cake: Arabica, Robusta, various aromas and varieties to choose from.
What a discovery!

02/05/2026: We arrived just minutes before closing time on May 1st. Even though they were already clearing up and cleaning everything to close, with what little they had left, they still kindly made us two porchetta sandwiches and a Peroni to go. The sandwich was truly delicious, and their kindness and friendliness, even after a tiring day at work, allowed us to end a beautiful holiday on a high note. It's these little gestures that convince me I've come to the right place.
Thank you so much, and we'll definitely be back to try the rest!
02/05/2026: A typical Roman Castles fraschetta. The porchetta is excellent, the pasta dishes are tasty and plentiful. Dessert was on the house. Plus, it's right on the main square in Ariccia! The staff are efficient and super friendly. Recommended.

19/10/2025: Spectacular place in Rome for Pizza. Frumentario offers “pizza squares” with various toppings, for around 24€ per kilo. You go, decide for the toppings, they heat it up for you, and then you can stand outside on one of the tables and enjoy the pizza with a beer or soft drink. The service was really friendly, card payment possible, and the pizza tasted sensational. The dough was nice and fluffy, and the topping was outstanding. Especially the creams they put after heating the pizza up was really the cherry on the top. I can absolutely recommend this place - and will come again surely!
16/10/2025: Great pizza by the slice/weight. They were quite welcoming and kindly explained the variety of selections available for the day. All were different and "not your typical" varieties. We tried four and all were amazing and delicious. Most certainly worth the visit!
