06/04/2026: That was a weird experience. The staff was super cool, but it took for ages for the food to arrive. We waited about 45-60 mins for the anti pasti, and then another 30 mins for the pasta, and then another 30 mins for the mains, and we are camped outside in cardboard boxes still waiting for the desserts which should arrive tomorrow afternoon... The wines from Lazio were great, the anti pasti also. The carbonara was salted to death and the yolks had started to coagulate. The main dishes were boring at best. Need I write that we skipped deserts, in fact?

01/04/2026: The food was delicious! Highly recommended: fried brains, liver, and mixed salad. The staff was exquisite, kind, and very attentive. A lovely evening.

15/04/2026: Genuinely one of the worst food experiences of my life. And definitely the worst food I ate in Rome. I've never left a tasting menu before the end but we never even finished our mains. This was my 3rd time in ad hoc over the last 15 years in Rome and it's honestly gone so far down hill during that time. To make the decision to leave is never easy, but to then be charged for the full about for the whole meal is another thing. Totally unacceptable. So, some advice, please avoid. Or, Ad Hoc, let's go back to the good old days when you used to be great.

11/04/2026: That was the best restaurant in Rome that we visited and the service was amazing and kind. We ate the 3carbonara and it was excellent. We will come again.

09/04/2026: They charged us 3 euros for each person who wanted water. The water ended up costing 12 euros when the bottle would cost 3 euros at a market. There’s also a 20% tip for gratuity.

25/02/2026: A good place to grab an ice cream to go. Friendly staff.

13/04/2026: The cucina was a quick walk from our hotel and made for an easy dinner location for our first night. The food came out quickly and was pretty good. Great family place and definitely kid friendly.

13/04/2026: Excellent place, I highly recommend it. We stopped by chance on our first evening and returned three times during our stay. Impeccable service, very welcoming and friendly staff, excellent food, and a very pleasant atmosphere and dining room. Thank you to the whole team!

09/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance, recommended by the employee at the hotel where we stayed. It turned out to be a truly pleasant place, with a smaller interior than the outdoor space, which, if there are many people, can be very noisy. The food is excellent, serving truly unique traditional Roman dishes that we haven't found elsewhere, such as the fried pasta filled with cacio e pepe or the handmade tortelli stuffed with oxtail stew. The pizzas are also delicious and beautiful to look at. The desserts are excellent. Sorry, but I only took pictures of the desserts; we ate the rest straight away... excellent value.

23/03/2026: Today I had lunch at Trattoria Da Francesco e Teresa in Nettuno, and I have to say it was a truly wonderful experience. I ate everything based on seafood, incredibly fresh and cooked with great care: every dish was truly delicious, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients. But what struck me most was the atmosphere: I felt right at home, welcomed with kindness and attention. The owner is a truly wonderful person, the kind of person who makes all the difference and makes you want to return. Highly recommended for those looking for good seafood and a family atmosphere!

15/03/2026: I had booked a table for 1 pm seven days in advance. We showed up five minutes early, and our table was occupied (the diners had just started eating). NO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER. Especially considering we had to travel 30 km to get to Nettuno. I also want to point out the restaurant's patrons were packed to the brim in the small dining room.

25/12/2025: The food was incredibly good, everything we ordered was amazing. The service was also fantastic, and the thoughtful touch of offering us a delicious panettone at the end was superb. 10 out of 10!

13/04/2026: I'd heard good things about this restaurant and decided to go on Easter Monday: I've never made such a bad choice. Starting with the appetizer: two slices of dry, inedible prosciutto, a slice of "Milano" salami that we can eat every day (wasn't this a typical game restaurant?), a few olives, and not even a piece of cheese. A good start to the day is always a good start, there's little you can do about it. They added two wild boar sausages (really nothing special), but only because I complained. Let's move on to the first course: linguine with venison sauce. I could only taste the sauce... The lamb, typical of those days, wasn't there, and several guests complained. I won't go any further: personally, I wouldn't return even if they paid me. The atmosphere is nice, which might suggest excellent dishes, but that's not the case. The waiters are quick and friendly, especially one girl who made me understand not to order certain dishes. In short: a resounding failure. But that's my opinion, for goodness sake. Take it as such.

11/04/2026: This café is located in a hotel. The place looks better in photos than in reality. The food is average, and the service speed is quite slow. The service is acceptable but does not meet the standard one might expect from a hotel setting. If you’re just stopping by for a quick coffee and a few photos, it’s fine.

04/05/2026: Lunch on the terrace during a day exploring Rome. Escaping the touristy restaurants, we decided to give this place a try, and we couldn't have asked for anything better! The food was exquisite, the presentation was meticulous, and Mito was incredibly courteous. We were delighted to find traditional Roman dishes prepared with such skill.

03/05/2026: We were on the hunt to find a Roman restaurant open on Sunday that had “Carciofi alla Romana” and we were fortunate enough to have landed Massimo, who guided us through the best choices on Il Piccolo Mondo’s menu. OMG you ahAVE to order the “Raviolli alla Gricia”, a flavour explosion in your mouth! And thank you Massimo for pairing the Cholcolate tasting with our Tuscan wine. 🙏🏼 Gracie Mille! Until next time…

19/04/2026: The first time I visited this restaurant, I chose it because I was struck by its quaint atmosphere, but I was also pleased with the food. The menu offers classic Roman dishes. I tried both the first and second courses, and everything was delicious. The staff is fantastic: the waiters are young Romans, very friendly and charming, always ready with a joke and using typical Roman expressions. Definitely worth a try!

05/04/2026: A pizzeria in the Anagnina area with truly excellent gluten-free options. Wait times are excellent and well-managed. For those with gluten intolerances, it's a real treat: the pizza is delicious and not rubbery like it often is elsewhere. Wide selection on the menu and absolutely reasonable prices. Recommended.

13/03/2026: The food is truly delicious, with a good selection of pizza and fried foods. I especially recommend the broccoli and sausage pizza. Osvaldo is amazing and super welcoming. The only downside is that the place is very small and has limited seating, perfect if you're planning on getting something to go.
