12/10/2025: A simple, rustic place – a true Italian restaurant for locals and you might be seated quite close to the next table, so don’t expect a fancy, tourist-style place. The service is generally friendly, though sometimes a bit slow and slightly chaotic – but that’s part of the charm. We had the Roman-style artichoke, spaghetti carbonara, and pasta with wild mushrooms – all were very good. The carbonara was actually our favorite out of five restaurants we tried in the area! Prices are a bit on the higher side, but overall fair for the quality. Reservations are recommended.

10/09/2025: I'd like to start by saying that I've eaten at this restaurant often and have always enjoyed it: the welcoming atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff. That's why I hate to write a negative review, but last night's experience was truly disappointing. As soon as we walked in, the waiter—the guy with the tattoos, to be precise—greeted us coldly, listlessly, almost annoyed by our presence. No greeting, no sign of attention, it seemed as if we weren't welcome. We sat down and waited almost 30 minutes for our menus, which never arrived. Meanwhile, a couple of the waiter's friends arrived at the restaurant. Coincidentally, they were immediately served and greeted with welcome prosecco, water, and menus, in record time and, more importantly, before us, who had been waiting much longer like two fools. At that point, considering the negligence and lack of consideration we'd received, we got up and went somewhere else to eat. It was truly sad to have to leave a place I've always appreciated, but we couldn't ignore such disrespectful and unprofessional treatment. I hope the right action is taken, because it's a shame, especially when such service risks alienating customers who have always loved this place.

19/10/2025: The time goes by bad the problem ? The food is delicious, but the rest needs a lot of work. Just to give an example, there are no napkins under the desserts!

14/10/2025: A true "hidden" gem as far as authentic italian food goes. The location is to me perfect, on a quiet backstreet with little to no trafic - both on foot and vehichles. The staff, great and laidback. The food, tastes like you'd expect real italian food to taste like. We ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and Rigatoni alla Lilli. What makes the visit even more special was that a lot of locals ate here so you know it's good!

17/10/2025: Such a gem! I loved everything about this restaurant: the food was delicious (we had their classic menu), the Ayurvedic tea tasty, the restaurant’s interior design is both beautiful and soothing, with beautiful art, and we were warmly welcomed! We will be back!

27/09/2025: Simply an unforgettable experience. Food, atmosphere and location, makes this restaurant an unique setting for a meal in Rome. For dessert try the apple pie, it is delicious!

17/09/2025: Gluten-free pizza is like a cooked cracker, so I won't add anything else, it deserves one star. The prices are really high, a €16 pizza, and not even the quality is high, except for the courteous staff.

25/09/2025: The pub is very nice, with an excellent selection of draft and bottled beers. The food is also good and carefully prepared. It's a nice place in a neighborhood that's not teeming with crowds, so its value is even greater. I recommend it.

14/10/2025: I had this for lunch on my last day in Rome. It was absolutely delicious. The lasagna and pasta were amazing. It was the best food I had in five days! If I'd had it on the first day, I would have definitely come back and tried other dishes. If you're visiting Rome, please visit. You won't regret it. If I ever visit Rome again, I'll definitely go back.

02/09/2025: Highly recommended. We spent a quiet evening pampered by the two very kind and friendly owners. We had amatriciana, seafood gnocchi, and fried calamari with chips, and everything was exceptional. To finish, a dessert followed by a coffee. If you happen to be passing through this area, it's highly recommended!

27/07/2025: Super fresh food, dishes that taste like home and are made with true passion. You can really taste the heart and soul of their cooking. Very friendly, always smiling, and ready to recommend the best (spoiler alert: it's all delicious). If you want to eat well and feel like you're at a friend's house, this is the place to be. Absolutely guaranteed.

09/10/2025: A cozy, warm, and welcoming atmosphere with outdoor seating, incredible, unique coffee, impeccable customer service, and Armando, a kindhearted person like few others... Even if I have to walk a few steps further, the coffee here, accompanied by a delicious homemade dessert, is just what I need to brighten up my day!

13/10/2025: It was so good we went two nights in a row!! The service was great. Our server was very friendly and efficient. He told jokes and made recommandations. The food set the bar very high for the rest of our trip to Italy. The carbonara was the best we ever had, the cacio e Pepe was comforting and I have no words for the tiramisu. Yes it was THAT GOOD. We would 100% come back. If you absolutely want to eat there we would recommend making a reservation as this restaurant is often fully booked:)

04/10/2025: A beautiful restaurant nestled in the greenery of the Appian Way. Excellent service. The porcini mushrooms are excellent, and the meat is good but not exceptional. I'll be back to try the pasta dishes.

Luca and the great Pietro (creator of a fantastic minestrina and thanks again for your availability) are able to make anyone feel at ease... the quality of the food can't even be said FRESH FISH IS FRESH, but every time it's a pleasant surprise. The potato soup, bacon, mussels, prawns, an explosion of flavours, the first courses are always excellent and the grilled food is really, really good... the divine desserts, the cassola and the zabaglione dessert with vermouth from FEAR GOOD CELLAR WITH AN EXCELLENT SAUVIGNON LA BUSE FROM LOF. 24/10/2025: Highly recommended!!! One of the few non-touristy restaurants in Rome. The welcome and service are homely, as you'd expect from a typical Roman osteria! The tripe and cacio e pepe are excellent.
