That was the best restaurant in Rome that we visited and the service was amazing and kind. We ate the 3carbonara and it was excellent. We will come again.

We chose this restaurant based on its rating, and I have to say—it truly deserves five stars! The hospitality was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Even without a reservation, the staff kindly accommodated us, asking if we’d mind waiting just five minutes while they prepared a table for our group of five. Our waitress and servers were attentive without being overbearing, and they offered helpful insights into the menu. For our meal, two of my older children ordered the vermicelli with octopus, while my youngest chose the house-made spaghetti with beef. My husband had the seafood sampler, and I ordered the lamb. Every dish was absolutely delicious—everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. My youngest even tried some of my lamb and immediately said they’d order it the next time we visit! The other two kids agreed they’d love to come back as well. From start to finish, it was an amazing experience, and we’ll definitely be returning.

Despite having no reservation on a busy Thursday, the staff welcomed us warmly and accommodated us in a quiet, comfortable booth. The service was characterized by deep product knowledge and precision. Our server navigated the menu with us expertly, eventually guiding us toward a cohesive meal. The technical execution of the dishes was superb. We began with a Roulade in phyllo dough with prosciutto and mozzarella, served in a crisp parmesan bowl. It was a balanced, high-level start which was creamy and flavorful without being over-indulgent. For the main courses, we focused on their ravioli selections: - Cacio e Pepe Ravioli: A favorite for my 11-year-old son; perfectly seasoned. - Beef Filet & White Truffle Ravioli: My brother-in-law noted this as a standout of the trip. - Prawn Ravioli: A chef’s special in an elegant, creamy sauce. The red wine pairing suggested by our server complemented the varied flavor profiles of all three pasta dishes while remaining reasonably priced. We finished with a refined cheesecake topped with nuts and honey. What set AdHoc apart was their hospitality. The meal was punctuated by thoughtful additions such as amuse-bouches, a secondary small dessert, and a final course of biscuits and meringues. Upon departure, we were even gifted bags of dried pasta to take home. The experience was so consistent that we kept our Saturday reservation. While the Thursday meal was excellent, the truffle tasting menu on Saturday was the clear peak. The quality and portion sizes are significant; come prepared for a slow, indulgent pace. For those staying near Piazza Del Popolo or looking for a meal where the technical skill in the kitchen is matched by the gratitude of the front-of-house staff, AdHoc is an easy recommendation. It is a rare establishment that makes a double-visit feel like a privilege rather than a redundancy.

Some of the best food I have ever had in my life and absolutely worth every penny! Would come back to Rome from the US if only for this restaurant. A must-experience!

Visited the restaurant back i 2017 and remebered it as a very good experience. While in Rome during Easter we revisited, got the same windowtable as last time and enjoyed sitting with all the fantastic wines surrounding us in the restaurant. Made us remember when we had tasted the different wines over time. Service great, food great and the wine list makes it a must visit place for wine lovers!

One of the best and most original restaurants in Rome! A truly wonderful culinary experience in the heart of a wine cellar featuring prestigious Italian wines at very reasonable prices. Special mentions to three dishes: - Antipasti ad hoc - Spaghetti with prawns - and the tiramisu

They are very kind and come over every second to make sure we haven't run out of water or wine. Reservations seem to be essential. When I mentioned it was my birthday, they gave us complimentary desserts, wished us a happy birthday, and even took photos for us. The food kept coming out non-stop, so I couldn't eat it all, but it was great. The prices are a bit on the higher side. It's delicious. Staffs are very kind and nice! Food is good, especially the dessert, and they serve it so repeatedly that I couldn't eat it all. It was a fantastic experience to have in Rome. Thanks

The last time I went to Rome, I had a delicious truffle dish at this restaurant. This time, I made a reservation and visited again. This time, I had the black truffle tasting menu. It included one amuse-bouche, three appetizers, two pasta dishes, two main courses, an avant-dessert, a dessert, and even a small pastry. Every dish was delicious, and except for the amuse-bouche and dessert, all of them had truffles on them, giving them a wonderful aroma. However, with so many dishes, I was quite full, so I left half of the main course and dessert, and took the pastry home as a souvenir. It's a stylish restaurant with elegant service and superb food. Reservations seem to be essential on weekends. It's a restaurant I definitely want to visit again when I go to Rome. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Wonderful experience, great food, perfect service

This restaurant was recommended by a colleague from home and we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and attentive. My husband and I had the ‘Land’ tasting menu with wine pairings and every course was delicious. We will definitely be returning when we come back to Rome!
