17/02/2026: Since my first visit to Rome in 2020, pasticceria Vincente remained in my heart forever. The warmth of the stuff (separate gratitude to Nico, Andra and Nadia! You’re the best!), the quality of everything starting from the coffee ending up with pastries they’re making - everything is on a highest level. And every year they’re also making artificial panettone for a Christmas period which is an absolute musthave. You’d never expect that kind of experience from the location around but here we are, in Anagnina zone which is full of surprises. Worth mentioning that you can also have a great happy hour and aperitif there as well at any time of day - you’ll be served great snacks and good Quality wine or cocktail. You can also buy wine from different parts of Italy as well as rare spirits such as whiskey and gin. Top! 🔝 👏🏻

22/03/2026: It's a great shame to return to what used to be my all-time favorite restaurant. I've been going there for years and I've been promoting it a lot. But yesterday, unfortunately, I noticed a major change in the service and food. The tagliata was a rather fatty steak, cut into pieces with truffles, far from the quality it once was. The rest was nothing special. The beautiful menu, rich in carefully selected ingredients and slow food, is gone. The service was barely adequate, no explanation, everything was rather perfunctory. The customer service of the past has completely vanished. The welcoming atmosphere in the dining room remains, which is very characteristic, and the price has remained the same, but honestly, spending that kind of money makes it not worth leaving Rome for a dinner. A huge disappointment, a real shame.

31/03/2026: The tavern is located a little outside the center, but it's definitely worth the trip. Very authentic – the pasta was especially excellent. You almost feel like you're in Italy, surrounded by locals. A real hidden gem!

27/03/2026: There are no longer any secrets or things to discover, as pizzeria al 384 has been a landmark for Romans for years, and I mean, for all lovers of good food. The architect of this success is undoubtedly due to Roberto Ferrone, a talented young pizza chef, and his staff, who, without much fanfare, have managed to transform this place into a true gourmet delicacy. The space isn't very large, but it's large enough to accommodate customers both inside and out. The menu includes pizza and traditional fried foods like classic suppli, but that's not all. Along with the evergreens, this place offers seasonal and seasonal delicacies. Right now, for example, they're offering a fried tramezzino with Cetara red tuna, lime mayo, and tomato. Let's talk about the pizzas: they use a selection of stone-ground flours. I like to call it, as it has been described, a hybrid between Roman and Neapolitan, with a pronounced crust and a thin center. The oven is electric. I've been coming here for a few years now, and what's always pleasantly surprised me, besides a long-lasting dough that perfectly combines two traditions and the always balanced and harmonious toppings, is the 384 rule and few but well-balanced ingredients. I can't help but mention tonight's pizza, which in a certain sense encapsulates the meaning of my words. What I particularly appreciated was the fact that the porchetta wasn't cooked but rather taken out of the oven. I can't even say why I agree with the pizza chef. The success of a place lies in maintaining the desire and passion for cooking as if always having to please a small audience of customers. If you'll pardon the expression, a food shop. These guys haven't lost their hunger and desire to assert themselves in today's landscape, characterized by stereotypes dictated more by a vision of social media goals that will bring visibility. But I believe that even today, authenticity is still a precious gift that few possess. Keep it up, guys.

The service was impeccable, and the staff were kind and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the place is perfect for a relaxing break surrounded by Subiaco's nature. I highly recommend it! 😊

02/02/2026: My mother's 80th birthday, with us, her children, and grandchildren. We were all delighted by the dishes, always colorful and with flavors you could taste. He was so kind, he even brought us a few extra plates so we could taste them together! The dishes were so delicious, they even awakened the senses of my ninety-year-old dad! Thanks again :-)
