24/07/2025: I've heard good things about this place before visiting, so my expectations were higher, yet I was not disappointed! I've been in about 12 gelaterias while touring Italy, two of those I put way above the rest, and this is one of them! I had banana, mango and cheesecake, all were very close to real thing, good consistency, generous portion. Can recommend!

24/07/2025: The cheapest price in Italy, all sizes can choose 3 flavors. I tried the pistachio one, it was OK, not too sweet, I recommend the chocolate and chips flavor, it's so delicious and not greasy!

13/07/2025: I visited this wonderful restaurant on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Frascati, and it was spot-on! Since there were six of us, we each ordered something different, so I was able to sample a decent selection of what was on the menu at the time. From appetizers to dessert, there was nothing that wasn't excellent, so much so that I'd be hard-pressed to recommend a single dish in particular. 🙂 From Roman classics to more unusual dishes, everything was truly excellent, carefully prepared and decorated with edible flowers, and practically everything was homemade, including the wine we shared. I'm reasonably confident that whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed. As if all this weren't enough, everyone is extremely kind and friendly. Highly recommended!!!

07/06/2025: I ordered a roujiamo and a shrimp fried noodle, which were very delicious. I recommend the shrimp fried noodle. The roujiamo was very substantial, with too much meat. I have never eaten a roujiamo with so much meat. The meat was the same as in the picture. The boss was very substantial and enthusiastic. The store is small, but I hope he can expand the store space.

23/06/2025: Great courtesy. Personally I don't prefer McDonald's. My son likes it. I don't like going down to the underground area. The only positive note was that there were some tables outside.

22/06/2025: Terrible experience – dirty, broken toilets and wasted time! We came here around 11:40 before our Vatican tour at 12:30. We ordered coffee and ice cream – average at best. I noticed the toilets were behind paid turnstiles (€1), which seemed strange for customers. Staff showed me the code printed on the receipt. But the men’s toilet keypad didn’t work at all. I tried multiple times, nothing happened. No staff around to help. A man before me paid €1 to enter, and when his friend tried to follow without paying, a blaring alarm went off – like in a bank robbery. Seriously? My wife tried the women’s toilet with the same code – it worked. Clearly the men's side was just broken. I finally found coins to pay: 20 + 20 + 20 + 50 cents. The gate opened, but it didn’t return my €0.10 change. And for what? The dirtiest toilet I’ve seen in a McDonald’s. It stank, barely flushed, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. We lost precious time dealing with this nonsense, right before a timed tour of the Vatican. When you stop at a McDonald's, you expect basic standards – not broken systems, paid access, lost time, and disgusting conditions. Shame on this location.

18/07/2025: Last night at dinner, I was talking to a friend who had just returned from vacation (on the Red Sea, I think), and he recommended buying bread and pastries from this shop not far from Castro Pretorio. This friend of mine has always given me perfect advice... and not just about food, so I wanted to indulge him and promised I'd go... so I did... RESULT!!??: EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Small and cozy place, very colorful and cheerful!!! I don't remember the name of the girl who served me, but she really knew everything about recipes, quantities... a surprise. I'm obsessive about asking questions and want to be sure there's no cross-contamination... I asked a ton of questions that would have exhausted anyone... but she was always available to clear up any doubts I had. !!!! I'll be back!!

13/07/2025: How to turn celiac disease into an advantage. I've been going to this little gem near Termini Station for years. Here, you immediately feel at home, welcomed by the warmth of the staff and the aroma wafting from the street corner. I can't start my workday without their donuts...or finish dinner without mopping up the bread with their artisanal bread. If I really had to find a flaw: THEY SHOULD BE OPEN 24/7!! 😉😉

05/07/2025: Leaving aside the place which is very beautiful as all the dishes are 5 stars EXCELLENT I highly recommend this place. These are things that cannot be told but tasted ❤️

11/07/2025: I chose Pause because their entire menu is also available in gluten-free and lactose-free versions (it's an AIC-certified restaurant, and they're very careful even when you book to ask if there are celiacs. I really liked it because not everyone asks or assumes it). Let's move on to the menu: one word: CRAZY! The first time I went, I had a fantastic burger with homemade gluten-free bread and delicious meat cooked to my specifications; the second time, I wanted to try the pizza, so I ordered a white one with ham, potatoes, and lactose-free mozzarella...the dough was delicious and super digestible. I would have finished it all if I hadn't also ordered the fried gnocchi (made with pizza dough) with sauces. The desserts are also gluten-free, but I couldn't try them because they're not lactose-free. What can I say, I already knew it but it had been a long time since I had been there and it was a pleasant rediscovery... the only problem is that now it's too close to home so I'll have to go more often 😂

17/06/2025: I have rarely had ramen THIS good in my life, the broth was tasty even on its own and with the rest of the ramen?? A tomber par terre !! I'm a big fan, when I come back to Rome, I'll definitely come back here. 100% would recommend and come back :)

29/05/2025: Small restaurant, in the Lucio Sestio area, the offer is reserved for those who love Japanese cuisine, good choice of appetizers and first courses, remarkable ramen, which I must say is very very abundant! You pay the right amount, the quality for what I was able to taste is excellent! Easy-going service, but fast and attentive.

18/07/2025: Very tasty cuisine, my daughter is very picky, but she liked the flounder so much, she remembers it all the time. The waitress Yulia is so warm and pleasant, excellent service.

09/08/2025: Best pizza "Al taglio" in Rome. The staff was very friendly and welcoming☺️☺️. There is a wide variety of delicious pizzas. I highly recommend trying it!🤗✨️✨️✨️

14/07/2025: We stayed in this neighborhood during our stay in Rome, and we had breakfast here every day we could. The prices are very low for being right next to the Vatican, and everything is delicious. If you go further up the street, you'll pay double for much lower quality. The owners are incredibly friendly and approachable, very pleasant. 100% recommended place!

20/07/2025: We celebrated our 25th anniversary at the exclusive event space on June 24th. The owner directed us to this wonderful pastry shop for the cake... what can I say... wonderfully perfect... delicious! Mille-feuille with chocolate chips and strawberries... All the guests had positive comments!! And then Mr. Raffaello was attentive and available even the day after the event! Not everyone is like that... only those who truly love their job do this... we'll see you again very soon!! Thanks again!!

From ice cream to pastries, from cakes to seasonal baked goods, always in the name of quality and creativity, nothing is left to chance, you can breathe the passion in every product, you can perceive the unshakeable will, almost military, to achieve increasingly ambitious results to amaze and pamper the customer. Lucky those who know it and who live nearby because an address like this is not easy to find in Rome. Take advantage of it.

The products are excellent and reflect the taste and search for beauty and quality that distinguish Ileana! Accurate and very fast shipping! This herbalist's shop is highly recommended! The only flaw...the Mediterranean Sea separates us and I can only buy online! But for those who are in Rome or the surrounding area...go visit her!
