We ate here most nights during our weeks stay in Rome. The 2 servers were absolutely outstanding and the food was the best we had in Italy so far. Recommending the warm octopus salad and the lamb chops. Super simple yet unbelievably tasty. Best restaurant in Rome and well worth the visit!

A wonderful time! This friendly, family-run restaurant welcomes locals and tourists alike with a cheerful atmosphere. The terrace is lovely, and the food and desserts are excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! 😊

This is an authentic place to eat and not a tourist trap where the host and hostess care about the customer, the food and the quality of service. The warm seafood salad is one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in Rome and their grilled lamb chops are fantastic. I also highly recommend the mussels and octopus in spicy tomato sauce. Definitely get the chocolate mousse for dessert - it is so rich and delicious. I plan on returning next time I’m in Rome.

I'm writing this review, my first ever, straight from the restaurant because we were absolutely thrilled!!
The carbonara is world-class, the lamb cooked to perfection. It tastes just like Grandma used to make. It was by far the best meal of our entire trip to Rome. The service was outstanding and incredibly attentive. The restaurant is beautifully situated in a quiet little alley. We highly recommend it. We were a group of four, and we were all extremely satisfied. We'll definitely be back!

We were passing by and decided to try this restaurant, and we’re very glad we did. The food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and great flavors. It feels like a family-run place, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience was wonderful. We would definitely return.

My mother grew up eating Tripe that my grandpa would make. Il Tarallo gave me the chance to share that experience and try it myself. It was wonderful!
