18/03/2026: I've been wanting to try Cantina Simonetti for a while, and I must say my expectations were more than met. The restaurant is located in the heart of Frascati, overlooking a truly charming little square that I imagine becomes even more pleasant in the warmer months thanks to the outdoor seating. For now, I've been able to enjoy the interior: a cozy, warm, and welcoming room that immediately makes you feel at ease. We chose several off-menu dishes, and every dish was a confirmation: Ascolana olives stuffed with porchetta, Jewish-style artichokes, mezze maniche with oxtail sauce, and pannicolo with endive and carrot cream. Everything was extremely tasty and carefully prepared. A special mention goes to the oxtail sauce, truly exceptional, rich and enveloping, and to the pannicolo, cooked to perfection and served with its own juices: tender, flavorful, and executed with great technique. To accompany everything, two excellent red wines selected from a well-stocked cellar, further enhancing the experience. We finished on a high note with a delicious zabaglione and complimentary donuts, a gesture always greatly appreciated. Impeccable service: attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. A place definitely worth a visit... and one I'll gladly return to, perhaps to enjoy the summer version as well.

21/03/2026: High-quality pizza ingredients, a Roman waiter who was professional, empathetic, and kind, and possessed all the characteristics that make Italy the most hospitable and welcoming country in the world. We also had two fried zucchini flowers and two babà. The final price, in my opinion, was excessive at €70, including two medium beers, a bottle of water, and a large coffee. However, we were celebrating and didn't rely too heavily on the menu, which was carefully provided by the waiter. Last note: the receipt was properly issued. For me, that's an important piece of information. We'll gladly return.

21/03/2026: This place was an absolute disaster. Honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. We waited forever for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was completely disappointing – overcooked, bland, and just not what you expect from Italian cuisine at all. But the service was even worse. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and couldn’t even speak basic English, which made ordering unnecessarily difficult. Instead of trying to help, they just seemed annoyed the whole time. And the biggest joke? They actually charged us 2€ per person for “service” – for WHAT exactly?! We basically got no service at all. No one checked on us, we had to figure everything out ourselves, and we were treated like we were a problem. On top of that, the prices were way too high for such poor quality. Bad food, terrible service, and extra charges for nothing. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. Total tourist trap.

06/03/2026: Restaurant and trattoria where Gino will guide and advise you. Artichokes alla giudia (Jewish-style artichokes), tripe, coratella (offal), tongue, pajata (veal pate), meatballs, gnocchi, and anything else you can think of that's Roman, made to order. A must-try for anyone who loves Roman cuisine and appreciates the kindness and attentiveness of his customers.

20/12/2025: Campocori has been one of my favorite restaurants for two years now, and every time I return, it's a guaranteed success! The perfect place for those seeking unique and innovative cuisine, accompanied by an enviable wine list. The restaurant boasts stunning architecture ("wow" is the first word you'll say upon entering) and a casual/romantic atmosphere. Sean, the restaurant manager, is the perfect host, and Ludovica, the new waitress who served us, is an excellent addition to the team: discreet, kind, and attentive! We'll see you again soon 🥰

20/12/2025: I chose Campocori as a Christmas gift for my friends, and I couldn't have made a better choice. A welcoming and refined place, where from the first moment you sense attention, passion, and great professionalism. The dining room staff was simply excellent: attentive, knowledgeable, and never intrusive. The six-course tasting menu was a crescendo of flavors, all impeccable. The chef's welcome immediately conveys the quality of the cuisine. The eggplant appetizer is surprising and sets the tone perfectly. Among the first courses, the Tubetti pasta with carrot, mustard, and kumquat were sensational, but the dish that truly won me over was the Mutton Tagliatella with Parmesan: I wished it would never end. The warm bread and flaky bread accompanied by butter were also excellent, a treat often overlooked but truly appreciated here. The second course, lamb with red fruits, was balanced, intense, and memorable. To finish, a perfectly balanced dessert and a small pastry that elegantly complete the experience. Absolutely excellent value for money. A gastronomic experience I recommend without hesitation and would gladly repeat.

03/04/2026: This was my first time at this very cute and informal little place... Perfect for spending some time with friends... A little time, but rightfully so, since it's small, you have to give yourself the opportunity to eat fairly quickly and leave. Reasonable prices, but it's a shame there's no dedicated parking... Maybe try it with a few people.

21/02/2026: A lovely restaurant in Genzano di Roma, where the friendliness and professionalism of the owners and staff complement the excellent cuisine they offer. I stopped in for a business lunch and immediately appreciated the order and cleanliness of the place, as well as the perfect cooking of the food they served: amatriciana and pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, perfectly al dente! Definitely recommended for families, too.

04/03/2026: Jerry Thomas Speakeasy is hands down one of the best bars I’ve ever visited. We went twice during our trip to Rome, and it’s the most authentic speakeasy experience you can find. ​Exceptional cocktails (we tasted almost 8 across our two visits and they were all finely crafted, well-balanced, and delicious), a brilliantly curated menu, and a massive selection of spirits (note: they don't serve vodka, as speakeasies back in the Prohibition era didn't either). The vintage atmosphere is spot on, but the real highlight is the incredible hospitality of the staff. Whether you are a barfly or just looking for a quiet, perfect drink, this is a must. If I had to pick only one bar to visit in Rome, this would be it. Now about the price: 15-18€ or maybe more per "signature" cocktail depending on what you order. Classics start from 15€, but truly worth every penny.

23/02/2026: Honestly can't praise the place enough. 2 visits and the welcome from the staff, the flavour of the drinks and the overall experience was fantastic. Great place for a relaxing few cocktails. When I return to Rome this will be on my list of stops.

19/03/2026: I haven't tried the aperitifs yet, but I bought some excellent sparkling wines. They gave me good advice and are excellent salespeople. They take care of their customers, and it's a pleasure to return to buy quality wine. The place isn't big, but the atmosphere is pleasant.
