Trattoria della Stampa In Roma

The existing restaurant was full, so we went to Plan B restaurant at 3pm. It was full of locals and tourists. We waited, and the owner, who seemed to be a calm and gentle person, told us to wait and eat the cherries provided at the entrance even though he was crowded with customers. We waited for about 20 minutes while eating the fresh, refreshing cherries. The restaurant is packed with tables so close together that the space between them and the next table is quite narrow. During meals, tables may bump into each other as servers and guests come and go. Personally, none of this was particularly problematic. I had a great meal at a narrow table while chatting briefly in English with a middle-aged Italian couple at the table next to me, and it was nice to see the atmosphere of the locals dining in the crowded restaurant and the neatness of the servers. If you want a quiet and calm restaurant atmosphere or professional servers, I would dare to tell you to go to another restaurant. The food was starter mozzarella tomato basil, second carbonara, third sliced ​​steak and cheese, and two glasses of wine. The mozzarella tomatoes were the ultimate in fresh ingredients. Italians were so jealous that they could eat such fresh and delicious mozzarella at a low price. Carbonara is really delicious. The flavor is excellent. Looking at other Korean reviews, the reason it doesn't suit their taste is that it's salty compared to Korean pasta, but I think it's because the locals' basic seasoning + naturally salty pasta (guachale, cheese). This is also no problem. The steak was also lean, and the wines, Merlot and Chardonnay, were decent. PS While eating, I noticed the uniforms and newspaper illustrations hanging on the wall, and the owner who first guided the wait was one of the legends of the AS Roma soccer team. We couldn't take a picture together because we were busy, but it was great to see that soccer was successful and the restaurant was successful.

Amazing food and amazing service, we had to wait for a bit but it was completely worth it! The cacio e pepe was absolutely incredible and the meatballs even more, just 10/10

This place stands out among the many similar restaurants in Rome. It’s genuine, clean, has a friendly atmosphere and the food and drink is good for the price. Highly rekommended!

Small, very typical restaurant, with a wide choice and excellent Roman cuisine. The atmosphere and service is just as good. Small downside on the tiramisu nevertheless, good but not “classic”.

Cozy location and amazing food, a real treat

Siamo stati a Roma due giorni a fare i turisti, una sera abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante trovato quasi per caso, e... sorpresa! Piccolino e vissuto, una classica trattoria Romana dove trovi turisti ma anche gente del posto, bravi che non vi siete piegati alle logiche di mercato delle città d'arte dove si fa il minimo indispensabile, lo si fa male e si fa pagare un sacco di soldi, perché tanto c'è sempre fila fuori dalla porta. Menù classico, tutto buono ma soprattutto prezzi onesti, servizio alla mano, veloci e precisi. Ci è piaciuto un sacco, Bravi!! C.

Per sbaglio/apposta a cercare un'amica sono stato in questa trattoria che mi è stata più che consigliata anche da persone di Milano dove si trova una copia del locale. Gli spazi sono molto ristretti ma l'ambiente è suggestivo. Personale accogliente e cuoco (o qualcuno vestito così) che si aggira per il locale o in strada a saggiare il banco ingredienti di pertinenza del ristorante. Cucina autoctona e commensali soddisfatti, a partire da me. Essendo di corsa e di mezzogiorno mi sono accontentato di una cacio&pepe come da foto. Per addolcire il palato una pesca al vino. E il solito caffè. Una bella sorpresa, anche se fin troppo preannunciata. Il buon proposito fino a quando dovrò lavorare a Roma: una visita a settimana fino ad esaurimento del menù. Ovviamente...consiglio!
