I migliori ristoranti in Roma

18/08/2024: Attirato dal fatto che il ristorante era aperto nella settimana di Ferragosto, altrimenti avrei scelto sicuramente altri locali, siamo andati in famiglia al St.Ana. Alla scelta tavoli in strada oppure dentro, abbiamo preferito entrare visto che ci hanno proposto l’aria condizionata costo le temperature tropicali all’esterno. Ci hanno fatto accomodare in una sala sottoterra che sembrava una cantina arredata stile circo senza alcun nesso architettonico e di stile e purtroppo anche l’odore era da cantina. Trattandosi di Osteria, mi ero recato qui per la cucina romana, ma dal menu ci si accorge subito che di Romano ha ben poco tranne 1/2 piatti e con prezzi folli anche al di fuori di Roma. Abbiamo preso una Carbonara a testa che era so buona, ma senza lode e con una quantità che farebbe infuriare qualsiasi romano! Forse ho sbagliato locale e sono entrato in uno che fa Nouvelle Cuisine?!? Alla fine siamo usciti totalmente delusi e pure con la fame, con un conto pagato salato! Tipico locale trappola per turisti americani a cui spennano 70/100€ a testa illudendoli di aver mangiato meglio con termine di paragone il loro cibo da fast food.

12/08/2024: We were there last night, we ordered spaguetthi alle vongole, carbonara, alla amatriciana and a risotto. Everything is spectacular. The treatment of the staff is very close and friendly. We will return. Thank you so much.

08/08/2024: Very good restaurant. I initially came for the dessert - vino santo e cantucci, and was amazed by the delicious dishes. Everything was very tasty and the atmosphere was great. It’s off the beaten tracks and is totally worth it for a more authentic experience

26/08/2024: We sat outside but the street is quite quiet so that's fine; good and rather fast service and good dishes. We tried appetizers and first courses on this tour and were satisfied. We'll see each other again!

05/08/2024: Our Airbnb is right across the street. It's just perfect with a balance of sugars respected. We tasted 2 pastries, one as sweet as the other. The visual is magnificent, the cake holds perfectly and the flavors are exceptional. We find a lot of French pastry in this preparation. Well done to the pastry chef, her husband and the very pleasant waitress. Address to visit if you come to Rome...

02/08/2024: Adoro questa pasticceria! Ci sono andato più di una volta nel corso degli anni e non ha mai tradito le aspettative: tanta qualità, dolci quasi tutti serviti in monoporzioni golosissime e dai vari gusti. Ci sono alcuni classici come lo Snickers (niente a che vedere con la barretta della grande distribuzione...), la loro Tarte au Citron che invece che col limone è con lo yuzu. Non si serve caffè espresso ma in compenso è disponibile quello americano, come tè e tisane. Prezzi superiori alla media che però riflettono una grande qualità, e quella la apprezzo sempre.

14/08/2024: Very good value for money. Line up on a Monday evening from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. But it was worth the wait. The service is fast and efficient. Although the staff is super busy, they are all very friendly. The gourmet pizza “La Cracante” was excellent. And I had some "amatricianna pici pasta" to bring, which was just as good. I recommend you.

18/07/2024: This restaurant was an amazing find before we went to Rome. Our reservation request was made online and honored on our night of arrival. We were seated promptly and offered bread and drinks immediately. We enjoyed Selezione di salumi e formaggi italiani for an appetizer along with a first course of Spaghetti alla carbonara topped with shaved black truffle. Our second courses included Filetto di maiale cotto a bassa temperatura con indivia stufata e riduzione balsamica, Spigola al forno in crosta di patate, and Polpo arrostito su crema di patate e chips di patata allo zafferano. We shared the tiramisu for dessert. Each dish was expertly prepared and presented. I cannot express how nice the presentation of each dish was and how impressed we were with our dining experience. Please see the pictures for a better idea of each dish. The pictures are great, but they do not do justice to how amazing each dish tasted.

17/07/2024: Wonderful, felt very authentically Italian. Very reasonably priced, delicious breads and bruschetta served as a complimentary entree, and the food was AMAZING. Very friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and overall good experience. If you’re in the area it’s a great option.

30/08/2024: An excellent fine dining experience. We had a great rapport with the server. As we didn’t feel like having wine again, we opted for a delicious gin and tonic. We also had a very helpful sous chef that came with every dish to explain what we are having. We started off with amuse-bouche - rice cracker with ricotta, dried tomatoes and lemon zest, paired with breaded slow cooked beef tongue in bechamel sauce. A great starter. The bread was especially well made with a high quality olive oil on the side. For the main course we had the pig suckling with zucchini, mint and apricot foam. The meat was flavourful and the crackling fresh and crisp. The fruity flavours go perfectly together with the pork meat. The second dish was pigeon with figs, in port sauce. The pigeon is served in different states of doneness - from raw to fully cooked depending on the cut. Subtle and tender. For dessert - chocolate mousse with rhubarb ice cream, topped with chocolate crispies and caviar. You get that mouth crackling and popping with the candy inside the crispies. The second desert is crepes with orange and basil. This dish is much more subdued than it appears, more tangy and sour. Overall it was a great experience. I wish we had the time to try the tasting menu, but this was great on its own. A wholehearted recommend.
