11/08/2024: Discovered this place due to the good reviews on Google. There were five of us, all satisfied with the food and the kindness of the girl who pampered us with her delicious food. We will be back soon!

05/08/2024: I don't usually leave reviews, but I have to make an exception for this place in Frascati. By now I can consider myself a regular customer. Every time I stop here for work, I can't wait to come back. The service is impeccable: the owner is very nice and does everything to ensure that nothing is ever missing. The food is extraordinary and a true guarantee of quality. From appetizers such as tripe alla teramana, to delicious first courses, up to second courses such as Roman saltimbocca, each course is an unforgettable culinary experience. The portions are generous, perfect for those who love to eat well and generously. The price is right: with a starter and a first course it costs under 20 euros. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere in Frascati.

11/08/2024: Local with splendid location directly under the Odescalchi Castle on the square. The restaurant is welcoming and modern as is its menu. I was not satisfied with the dishes and their execution. I didn't like the octopus with ketchup at all, nor did I like the tagliolini with squid ink, little seafood flavor and too strong acidity tones. The menu is decent and the composition of the dishes is excellent but lacks substance and combination of flavors to be reviewed. 😉

30/07/2024: Typical restaurant, overlooking the Odescalchi castle. Soft and relaxing atmosphere, refined, sophisticated and tasty dishes. Traditional menu too revisited for my tastes. Excellent price quality.

26/08/2024: Beautiful little place that was recommended to me. Felt like I was eating with the locals. Staff were wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Food was perfect Italian fare and delicious. Great house wines and a very low cost. Would highly recommended.

26/07/2024: Best in Rome!! Out of the ordinary alcoholic selection with rare pieces such as goldrake whiskey!!.. never seen anything like it.. not even in Tokyo!! Obligatory break if you are near Termini station between food and alcohol you will not be disappointed.. a particular applause to the waitress in the photo (45) caula carola I didn't understand the name but really prepared, friendly and professional!! Nice discovery...it almost doesn't feel like being in Rome

17/08/2024: With 15 euros each you will be satisfied until the next day. It's not exactly a chic place, in fact there is a lot of confusion and overcrowding in just a few square meters of space. Great location, it's not the usual tourist catcher, but it's honest cuisine. The price is honest (even low, I daresay), the portions are enormous: we had taken a first course each and a second course divided by two, but we couldn't take it and left. If we had known before we would have taken a first course and a second course divided by two. Excellent carbonara and amatriciana, beware of anyone who preaches the opposite. Very high quality/price ratio (two excellent carbonaras passed off as just one at the price of 15 euros or less), the only flaw is too much confusion given the influx of tourists (rightly so).

14/08/2024: Very friendly and kind staff. Traditional and quality cuisine. I tasted the carbonara, really excellent; I will definitely come back when I return to Rome to try other dishes!

24/08/2024: After a long time I returned to this place and found it changed for the better! It's much bigger and more welcoming. We were kindly greeted at the entrance by the owner who showed us the table. You were spoiled for choice when reading the menu! In fact, everything was very good. The appetizers were delicious, the Carbonara in a tray of pecorino cheese was great! The fillets cooked and seasoned in various ways, truly excellent. With rocket and parmesan or with mushrooms. We were all very satisfied and will definitely return. I highly recommend it!

19/08/2024: The brazier is the highlight of this restaurant. Excellent Argentine meat, grilled with passion and dedication. You can choose different cuts. The restaurant has an outdoor space and a veranda. The staff is really very warm and friendly.

10/08/2024: Let me start out by saying, I don't know if I've had bad pasta anywhere in Rome, so this definitely isn't outside the ordinary for my Rome restaurant reviews. They're on another level here! At the Old Bear, I had the Spaghetti amatriciana, caprese salad, muscles and tomato bruschetta. I guess the worst part was, the pasta was cooked just slightly north of al dente, but definitely was still delicious. The muscles tasted like they were same day caught, and the mozzarella was so incredibly fresh! The bruschetta wasn't anything to write home about, but it wasn't bad either. You definitely can't go wrong with Old Bear!
