02/08/2024: MiVa was the perfect place to land after a long hot day exploring Rome. Interior was 'cool' in both senses of the word! The staff were all really friendly and our terrible Italian skills were no problem, easy to use English here a friendly, relaxed atmosphere all round. Chef Andrea Miseri even took his time to talk us through the menu and describe the (often locally sourced) ingredients. The menu was full of subtle twists on classic dishes, lots of great surprises but nothing freaky for the sake of it, just gorgeous and intriguing taste combinations. I took delicious cacio e uova (first time for me) with French beans in arabiata sauce as a starter, and cacio e pepe with zucchini flower (!) as a main. Both dishes were full of flavour and contrasts, beautifully prepared and presented.The pasta itself was fresh, and I really savoured the rare homemade texture and taste. Happiness on a plate! The wine was a similarly superb experience, we ordered a bottle of Cesanese that none of us had tried and before long we ordered a second. The meal was rounded off with with great coffee and a small owl of sliced plums sprinkled with salt. Salted plums? Sounds odd until you've tried it! They absolutely hit the spot. Magic. Perfect evening after a wild and hot day running around the city. Highly recommended!

07/08/2024: Discovered this hidden Gem on a Blog post. After having some really bad experience in Rome before this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is good and the staff really nice. I would recommend going with a starter first because they are really tasty and second because the portions are a bit small. Would definitely go here again!

28/07/2024: I have been going to this place for about 12 years and it has never changed. It was delicious once, it still is. I still come here, pretty much almost every week. Courtesy and availability are the setting for their delicacies. All very good, even for those who don't like sushi. The bao and gyoza are amazing. The sushi + cocktail promo (even very good and quality ones) at 29.90 is a unique treat in Rome. Compliments !!! :)

18/07/2024: The restaurant locates in the quiet neighborhood, and I feel peaceful when arriving there. The inside looks really cozy! The elders are warm and welcoming. Nonno is quite funny, and Nonna seems gentle. The waitress, whom I think it’s their granddaughter, is nice too! I like the beefsteak, tender and juicy. It feels quite like home there for me.

30/07/2024: The real Roman brewery! Super perfect environment both for the summer with the large beer garden or for the winter for the warm room inside. The service is fast. The beers are exceptional, all worth trying! The sandwiches are also quite good It would be nice to have the first courses available for dinner too. One of the best beer bars in the capital

19/08/2024: While walking to Piazza Navona we came across this little place from outside... Cute little place and looking at the menu outside it was also accessible... Moving forward we read the reviews and made up our minds and went back... The welcome was wonderful, they explained a lot of things to us and, more importantly, we ate very well... We took a typical Roman platter (20 euros) for 3, it was a bit cheap but the dishes were delicious (cured meats, cheeses, tripe and coratella) then we moved on to the 3 FANTASTIC FIRST STARTERS: CACIO E PEPE/AMATRICIANA AND THE SPECIALTY OF THE DAY, bacon, cherry tomatoes sweet and sour and cheese... All 3 gorgeous...

11/08/2024: Easily the best pasta we have had in Italy, the restaurant was beautiful. No line up, maybe its not "instagram famous" but hands down beats everywhere we have been.

15/05/2024: In this shop I mainly buy yogurt and not ice cream. I have visited yoghurt shops with many more things to add to their yoghurt, but I still consider their assortment sufficient and the yoghurt is also very good. Friendly and helpful staff, and all in all they deserve the best

20/12/2023: Delicious and high quality ice cream. Excellent for those like me who are kids who have school until 2 or so. He goes out and gets an ice cream with friends. Comfortable and warm environment inside and very kind staff
