20/03/2025: Top quality and genuine products, cooked in simple and tasty dishes. The menu is oral because it changes based on the freshness and availability of the products. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The service is fast; the place is historic and well looked after. There is a relaxed and familiar atmosphere. Excellent quality/price ratio. I highly recommend it to those who love to taste typical dishes, not only Roman cuisine, prepared with love and with simple, fresh and top-quality ingredients.

11/04/2025: Best pizza in Rome so far for me. Though it is actually hidden in via dei coronari. It is a really small place though, just come for the delicious pizza and continue walking.

05/04/2025: We got one with tomato sauce and one with seafood (when we asked for no onion or garlic, he only suggested this). The one with tomato sauce was good but we couldn't even finish the other one. It was a very salty, very strong smelling product. The employees are rude, I don't think we will come again.

23/02/2025: I have been there on one occasion. Well advertised; easily reachable by car using the navigation directions. Car parking nearby is not very easy. Both the fried calzone and the supplì are excellent. Affordable prices. Payment by debit card and credit card is available. Courteous and very precise staff.

26/03/2025: Ponte Cestio, also known as pons Aurelius, pons Gratiani, San Bartolomeo bridge or Ferrato bridge, is a bridge in Rome over the Tiber river, a nineteenth-century reconstruction of the Roman bridge of the same name. It is one of the two bridges in the capital that does not directly connect the opposite banks of the river: like the neighboring Fabricio bridge, in fact, it connects the Tiber Island with one of the two banks, in this case the right one, at the height of Lungotevere degli Anguillara, near Piazza in Piscinula, in Trastevere. The bridge was built by Lucius Cestius in 46 or 44 BC, symmetrically to the Fabricius bridge. It underwent a first restoration in 152, under Antoninus Pius, and an inscription commemorating this restoration was placed on the parapet of the bridge, but it was completely rebuilt in 365 with reused materials, also coming from the nearby Theater of Marcellus, by the emperors Valentinian I, Valens and Graziano; In 370 he dedicated the latter to himself by inserting an inscription in Proconnesian marble in the upstream abutment and thus giving the bridge the new name of Pons Gratiani. The bridge was covered with travertine slabs. Another restoration, documented by an epigraph placed next to Gratian's epigraph, took place in 1191-93 by Benedetto Carushomo, senator of Rome in 1191. Other interventions took place in the 15th century under Eugene IV and in the 17th century under Innocent XI. From the 15th century it took the name of "San Bartolomeo bridge" from the Basilica of San Bartolomeo all'Isola. The bridge was seriously damaged during the siege of Rome in 1849: in particular, a second epigraph by Gratian present on the parapet downstream of the bridge was lost. In the 18th and 19th centuries it also had the name of Ponte Ferrato, due to the numerous chains that anchored the mills on the river. Due to the widening of the right bank of the Tiber near the island to 70 metres, the bridge was demolished in 1885 and rebuilt in 1889. Initially it was thought to save the central arch by widening the two lateral ones, going from 48 meters of the Roman bridge to 76 of the new bridge, but for technical reasons it was decided to completely demolish it. The stone covering material was partially recovered, but only a part of this (347 slabs) was reassembled on the central arch. The inscription on the Roman bridge relating to the restoration of 370 AD. by the emperors Valentinian I, Valens and Gratian, it was reinserted on the right abutment of the modern bridge. The new bridge is covered in travertine slabs, apart from the underarches which are covered in peperino di Albano. Ponte Cestio was restored like the nearby Fabricio bridge on the occasion of the Jubilee of 2000.

24/03/2025: Something different for a change, but in my opinion catering is another thing then yes you spend the right amount it has a thousand advantages to try but in front of a real restaurant there is a difference from how I see it it is like a pub.

23/03/2025: I was very curious to try the arrosticini here, having it close to home and being from Abruzzo. The reviews seemed promising, so I convinced myself. We had several appetizers including fried bruschetta etc. and some things convinced me, others less so, but all in all ok. What I didn't like were the 30 gr hand-made arrosticini. There was something wrong and, having pointed it out to the staff, they suggested cooking others, according to them due to a cooking problem. The new ones were slightly better, but with the same problem, but I didn't argue that they didn't suit me. So, the service was excellent: very kind and ready guys to solve any problems, but as an Abruzzo native I wasn't satisfied with the food and, therefore, I won't return. The prices were very fair, we spent about €30 each, but we ate and drank enough. I would like to thank the very attentive and kind staff again.

13/03/2025: Excellent diner, huge choice of dishes, speed of service and lots of kindness; We were passing through Borghesiana for a few days and we chose this place because it offers good dishes, in generous portions at honest prices. For these characteristics I can only warmly recommend it and gladly leave 5 stars.

25/03/2025: Wonderful culinary experience both visually and for the palate. The place is wonderful and the kindness of the staff is disarming and makes us feel at home. I must especially thank Denis who is sweet, efficient and smiling and the very nice Alessandro called the doctor (in name and in fact as far as I'm concerned because in a very delicate way he brought me some ice after I fell at the entrance of the restaurant.) If you want to spend a magical evening in all respects run there I recommend it wholeheartedly. Go there it's more than worth it

02/04/2025: Dinner Monday night. Excellent dishes. Price in line with food and environment. Attentive and friendly waiters. Fast service. I didn't know there was a parking agreement. Ask when booking.

31/03/2025: Combining a fish restaurant with Sardinian management might seem like a wedding invitation and, although at the beginning we wondered if there would be any problems (welcome with carasau bread seasoned with oil and oregano accompanied by a flute of "prosecchino") the dinner went more and more downhill. We had two appetizers, two first courses, two glasses of Vermentino (aromatic and without bubbles), a mineral one, two delicious desserts and we enjoyed the gift from the house. All very tasty and well presented. In the end the bill of 112 euros was well digested.

17/04/2025: Good evening, after a few years, yesterday afternoon I came to you and got a cone with coffee, cream, nutellone and cream. I didn't remember your ice cream being so good. Small place but with a welcoming outdoor space. Average prices.

17/04/2025: Good ice cream and granitas but the flaw is the bill at the cash desk. I suggest specifying the cost of the granita as it says €3.50 on the window, without reference to the size, the bill at the cash register is €8, a considerable sum, of which I would like to have been informed beforehand. I don't think I would return, at least for the granita.
