17/10/2025: Excellent restaurant, really delicious and the service was excellent

16/10/2025: I found myself here by chance... A simple place. I ordered a plate of pasta, rigantocini with provola and radicchio. I was amazed. The dish was plentiful, very good, and the service was by young staff who were always available. I ate inside; they also have outdoor seating, but it wasn't my cup of tea (traffic noise). Congratulations!!

05/10/2025: Meals were delicious, the staff spoke English. Had to he gnocchi and that was top tier. The platter was delicious aswell!

12/10/2025: The roast suckling pig and porcini pasta were very delicious. The porcini were fresh and tender, the roast suckling pig had just the right texture, the crispy skin was perfectly seasoned with spices, the meat was a bit dry but acceptable, and the potatoes were soft and tasty. This unexpected restaurant saved our last night in Rome, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for good food in Rome.

05/10/2025: Finally, here is a restaurant worthy of Italy. Off the tourist trail, hidden in a small street, you have to look for it to find it, but once inside, everything is perfect. The staff is friendly and attentive. Excellent traditional cuisine, unbeatable value for money. No surprises on the bill, bread, cutlery, water, service included. Even a smile was offered. Head to Trastevere, exit the metro at Circo Maximus, cross the Tiber bridge and look behind the McDonald's. It's your turn.

06/10/2025: Fantastic experience here. We randomly popped in and the owner was so friendly and warmly to introduce the food for us. The most impressive was he offered us a lot dishes which we didn’t order for complimentary. Food tastes were unforgettable. Such a lovely evening and we will definitely recommend our colleagues to come here. Cheers💕💕

24/09/2025: The legendary Paradiso cake, soft and dusted with powdered sugar, that I used to get before going to Bonghi Elementary School, is unforgettable. It's a joy to see the business still going and to be able to get the same treats for our children.

20/10/2025: Cool little cafe/bar serving very tasty raw burgers/sandwiches. The bread, burger pattys and sauces were all very good. Portion sizes are small for the price though, I could have easily eaten another one and probably still not been overly full. Maybe adding at least a side salad to the larger plates on their menu would help bulk things out a little?

18/10/2025: It's a rare dream when I go to Écru. For me, a vegan who is demanding about quality, it's the only place in Rome!

14/10/2025: Perfect way to end our Roman family trip. Excellent food and service.

26/09/2025: Small but perfectly formed bistro where Chef Golino shows how inventive Roman food is done, well. My eggplant parmesan was crisp on the edges, smooth and creamy in the middle with a tart bite from the rich tomato sauce, topped with fresh and very melty mozzarella. A lava flow of deliciousness. For my Primi I tried their most popular dish and it did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked tagliolini pasta with sweet chunks of fresh prawn confit. The sauce brought the two together with buttery earthy magic. There was much more on the menu that I want to try, this was a very good meal. Recommended, well worth a trip up to Monteverde to sample this excellent restaurant. Make a reservation though!

12/10/2025: I visited this restaurant for the first time for a corporate event. It's a very pleasant location with plenty of secure parking. The food was excellent, and the cacio e pepe was amazing. The service, in my opinion, is the highlight of this place. Domenico looked after us throughout the dinner with exceptional courtesy and professionalism, always one step ahead of any request. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. Well done!

14/08/2025: I had the opportunity to eat there with a group of friends. The place is beautiful and the quality is truly exceptional. It's a place where, yes, you spend a bit, but it's a great value. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I hope to be back soon.

22/10/2025: Food was solid, but the service was harried and haphazard, due to seemingly new servers, and a management that seems to be rigid and focused more on the hierarchy than serving the customer. Among other issues was making the overwhelmed, but very friendly, wait staff riff through 6 complicated daily specials at each table, many who are listening in their second language...(Imagine that!) Maybe buy a printer? I tried ordering a specific bottle of wine 3 times and was told I had to order from my waiter, who was busy at multiple tables with the daily specials routine...With this time pressure they're STILL trying to turn tables... A real "casino totale"... This is no romantic trattoria, it's a money squeezing operation... But the food is good (not great), so somewhat redeemed...

22/10/2025: They serve a Sicilian lemon olive oil with bread that's a real treat to eat. For me, it's the best carbonara in Rome. Reservations are required.

14/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place after touring the castle in Bracciano…it was perfect!!! The service was impeccable even though they were so so busy. The food and drink were amazing, and they just took really really good cars of us. I highly recommend the Negroni with mezcal…it was simply delicious and our server even wrote down the secret recipe for me(shhhh!). Can’t recommend this highly enough!!

01/08/2025: The fish menu, ordered through The Fork, was well-priced, and the portions matched the discount. I expected better, but overall it was adequate.

31/07/2025: I ate here with my girlfriend and I had a terrible experience. First of all, the place is nice, but nothing more. It's classic 80s dishes with average ingredients, but they charge for the first course. We asked the owner for recommendations, and he offered us two first courses and a raw fish appetizer. They were good, but nothing special. The problem was when the bill arrived! For two, we spent €200 with a wine. I should point out that a first course costs €30, and the area where the restaurant is located is inconvenient for parking. Go here if you want to eat fish from the subway at very high prices. If you want quality ingredients, I prefer to go to Micalusi, for example, or to La Marina in Fiumicino, where you spend less and definitely get better fish.
