Highly recommend this family-run restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. Best Carbonara I've ever had prepared the classic Roman way.

Excellent restaurant. When you arrive, you end up thinking it's boring, as it has an anteroom with tables that are always empty, but the main room is in the back and is quite spacious (which is an advantage, as many good restaurants in Rome are very small and form queues). Very fast service and delicious food (it was our best option in Rome). We tried the Cacio e Pepe with prawns and a Carbonara which were perfect. With water and soft drinks, we spent 48 Euros per couple. If you're looking for a place to eat, we recommend it.

Original and tasty. We were looking to get off the beaten track of Roman restaurants and we were advised by the receptionists at our hotel. We were seduced by the originality and quality of the cuisine at il giardino. The tasting antipasti of 6 fish & shellfish are worth the detour with their variety of flavors and textures. Then, the truffle ravioli and the tuna with pistachio nuts, both excellent. Without forgetting the kindness of the service who accompanied us with professionalism throughout our meal. Next time we will book to discover the interior garden.

Ate here on the recommendation of our hotel. What a nice restaurant. Staff is very friendly. The food was delicious. It's also nice to go out for dinner without having had your starter and main course within half an hour. You can take your time to eat.

Nosso melhor almoço em Roma. Todos os pratos foram apreciados. Fomos no primeiro dia, porque tínhamos um casal no grupo que conhecia de outros anos. Gostamos tanto que voltamos em nosso último dia. Ambiente agradável e atendentes muito simpáticos.

Cucina romana assolutamente ottima e grande professionalità della signora Maria che ci ha coccolati per tutto il pranzo sopportando con pazienza anche l’esuberanza del mio amico che si è un po’ fatto sentire nel ristorante, facendo amicizia con gli altri tavoli. Grazie per il pranzo tipico veramente buono!

12/03/2024: Love this place! Amazing service and great food. We wanted some seafood and this was the place to get it! But that's not all, they also do a delicious lamb accompanied by thin roasted potatoes. Found the place recommended by locals online as one of the best restaurants in this Trastevere area. Thank you for having us, we will definitely be back the next time we are in Rome again!

07/01/2024: Cozy atmosphere and very friendly owner. The excellent cold cuts and cheese platter. Try the stewed wild boar, soft with an excellent flavour. Sardinian biscuits and seadas, how delicious.
