21/09/2025: Right in front of the Orsini-Odescalchi Castle, a beautiful location. The food was very good, although there were some mixed reviews among the diners. I personally enjoyed everything: I tried the mezzelune with porcini mushrooms and truffle, and the pici carbonara with truffle. Everything was delicious, but the mezzelune sauce was creamy. I think it was fine, but you have to like it... the first courses, however, were all very good. The appetizer was also good and plentiful. Between the appetizer and the first courses, we were more than full. If you go to Bracciano, I recommend it, and maybe even visit the castle afterwards, perhaps the most beautiful I've ever visited.

05/10/2025: Amazing sandwiches, great if your are traveling on a budget and you want to have a quick lunch. I recommend the one that has artichokes and sun dried tomatoes.

14/09/2025: We had a delicious meal and wonderful experience. The people working there were helpful, friendly and fabulous. We had the burrata and pistachio pasta to start and the cacio e Pepe both were amazing! The wine was also very good and all for a very reasonable price! Would recommend!

06/09/2025: I have been solo in Rome for 6 days eating 2 pastas per meal, and this was BY FAR the best I had. Their Cacio e pepe put others to shame. The pappardelle with white pork sauce was insane. Best tiramisu I had out of 7. Plus the family that owns it is a delight. Worth an hour drive. Run don’t walk to come here! Also, it is insanely old if you’re into history in addition to excellent traditional Roman cuisine

07/09/2025: We went to Disco Volante in Rome and I have to say it was a truly delightful experience. The food is excellent, authentic, and full of traditional Roman flavors: each dish is made with care and passion. The service was impeccable: the staff is friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which makes the atmosphere even more welcoming. The atmosphere is very charming, simple, and rustic, with a family feel that makes you feel immediately at ease. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly Roman experience, both for the palate and the soul.

06/09/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, rustic food, finally a true trattoria, and tasty. The gentleman (I assume the owner) who greeted us upon arrival and then checked us out was a delightful and friendly person...what can I say, definitely worth a try! A plus is the open kitchen: clean, tidy, and the staff are impeccably dressed. I really appreciated it!

30/08/2025: One of the best trattorias to eat at! TRADITIONAL!!!! Everything has been revisited; there's nothing authentic anymore. Trattoria dei Cacciatori combines tradition, authenticity, wholesomeness, and quality! We've been frequenting this wonderful trattoria for 30 years; every time we go, it's an immense pleasure in every way. A fantastic family united by unique cuisine, thank you for everything!!!!! 09/07/2025: The best place to eat a delicious 100% Italian pizza!!! The best pizza I've ever had in my life. Highly recommended, plus the staff is very friendly.

07/07/2025: In front of the Church of San Saba there is the Holy Trinity of Pizza. The cathedral of the palate where at any hour the pizza is fragrant and crispy. There are the ordinary ones and those with innovative flavors. When in doubt..... all of them!

21/09/2025: Great experience. Relaxing Saturday evening. Exquisite Neapolitan pizza. I had the "Papillon," which was a constant surprise. Three different flavors: parmigiana, sausage, and broccoli rabe, with a ricotta filling in the center, arugula, parmesan shavings, and prosciutto on top. Delicious! The place is welcoming and comfortable. The owner is friendly, the pizza chef is excellent, and thanks to the waiter Marco.

19/09/2025: Tried pasta Carbonara. The dish was extremely over-salted, so much in fact that I was not able to finish it. This is even without mentioning the fact that the spaghetti were undercooked. And to top it, when I complained to the waiter, their reaction resembled something along the lines of “Ah, too bad, we apologise”. Didn’t offer to bring me another dish.

15/07/2025: No one asked me if I wanted bread and olive oil; they brought it to us as if it were free, and then I found it charged to my bill—that's not done. Even waiting two hours between the first and second courses is not done. We arrived at 7:30 PM and got up at 9:40 PM. Other than that, the food is still good.

13/07/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant, definitely the best in the EUR area. Elegant and beautiful. Excellent raw seafood and very fresh fish. First courses and desserts prepared by the chef behind the open kitchen are superb.

13/09/2025: On the second day of our trip, we chose this restaurant, located in a square. We ate on the terrace, and the entire menu was gluten-free. We chose the pizzas as our main course, and it was a great choice, along with a breaded shrimp starter (also gluten-free). There was also a wide variety of gluten-free desserts. Wonderful.

15/09/2025: Stopped for lunch with my wife. We had the carbonara and ravioli. The food, the service, the drinks, all perfect. So far, one of the best, if not the best, in Rome.

27/08/2025: I dined at this restaurant a few nights ago to try the Pinsa. The Hard-boiled Pinsa and the Capricciosa were terrible. All the ingredients were of the lowest quality, and overall, both Pinsas were disgusting! The ham was off-color, the salami slice was fatty and too thin, the tomato tasted like nothing, as did the artichoke, egg, and pancetta. Furthermore, they write on the menu that the water is microfiltered, but instead they served us slightly chilled water that tasted like tap water. Truly a terrible experience; I wonder how they can keep up with such disgusting food. I understand a tourist from the other side of the world who might not realize what they're eating (either because they're tired or hungry after a long day), but I hope a Roman will immediately realize that this is a place to avoid! Instead, I recommend the Pinsa at Gran Caffè Roma, which I tried a couple of weeks ago. The new management makes an exceptional Pinsa Amatriciana with quality ingredients and delicious tomatoes. Not like these makeshift ones. Photos and receipt attached.

24/08/2025: I have to say the pinsa tastes good, and it's leavened well... But in my opinion, it's overpriced compared to other places in the area... and then you have to sit outside on the street. Obviously, this is the subjective opinion of someone who takes the family out for pizza.
