17/02/2025: Thanks to a video on social media, I wanted to try this little shop, leaving aside the kilometre-long queue of the renowned shop next door! Having discovered it before...... Spectacular porchetta accompanied by a unique bread; the girl who served us was politely talkative and gave us good advice on visiting Locanda Martorelli next door. In addition to the sandwiches, we took home some delicious sausages! Humane prices! More than that! Well done girl!

21/03/2025: The best pizza in Rome. They have traditional pizzas and then some cool flavours like smoked salmon. All are great. The staff are friendly and you can sit in or sit in the piazza nearby. The Nutella sandwich was incredible, sweet and salty, completely delicious.

25/03/2025: You eat pizza like in few places in Rome: really good, the only flaw is the prices are a little exaggerated but once in a while it can be done. I recommend trying it however they don't do takeaway but only on site

12/04/2025: Alice beccafico, cheese and egg pallotta and tuna and deli consommé Whipped butter with anchovies and excellent bread. This is the entrée. I really enjoyed the bread. For me it's a bit like a business card. The acidic tones I found in the dishes I was subsequently served were not exciting. Octopus skewer (a miserable octopus tentacle for €22, the food cost needs to be reviewed, because here the math doesn't add up and neither do the quantities) and the Genoese plin, which in both cases were monotonous, with persistent acidity and a covering sauce. The fish was a side dish, not the main course. My palate did not like it, even though the dishes that were served to me were objectively well prepared and well presented. Persistent flavors of acidity, to the point that even with the fish I was served a giardiniera (suicidal pairing) even in the tuna consommé served as an entrée this accentuatedly acidic tone was present. It's fine if the sour note is intentional, but not in all dishes. The prices are above average and the quantity and quality are disproportionate to the price. Unsatisfactory quality fried fish Not at all satisfied. Ate better in much less pretentious restaurants at half the price. I appreciated the bread but I think this is not enough to counterbalance my obvious doubts. Combining acidic tones in fish-based dishes is like trying to neutralize the quality and freshness of the fish. In any case it must be used with discretion and caution. I'm sorry I spent my money and time recklessly. To forget. When my expectations aren't met I get really annoyed. Not to mention when dissatisfied I also have to pay.

24/03/2025: Excellent food, we opted for a tasting menu and I must say that each of the dishes was to our liking. The place is certainly not the cheapest but it is at the level of a starred restaurant, perhaps it just needs to improve its service to aspire to those levels. The only note was a very noisy table of people inside, I think owners or friends of the owners, which was more like a restaurant than a gourmet one. However, an excellent experience and one to be repeated.

17/04/2025: We were visiting Rome for a short time; weren't particularly hungry and wanted to save ourselves for a booked dinner with friends later on, so we just wanted to grab a quick pizza to share. Well, here they charged us £29 for a margherita that was ok... Don't recommend it at all :-/

11/04/2025: Comida brillante. Mi esposa tiene alergia al gluten, pero tenían muchas opciones para ofrecerle. El personal era increíblemente servicial, atento y atento. La comida era deliciosa. Sin duda volveríamos a visitar, ya que las opciones de menú eran geniales.

22/03/2025: Was wanting to try something different. Never had Filipino food before. The grilled bbq pork belly was amazing. Remember when in Rome everything is Al carte. Not like in the US. Have to order any side dishes separately.

22/03/2025: Discovered yesterday by pure chance; a chest containing pure gold. Amazing ice cream as only artisanal ice cream can be. I asked the owner to choose the 2 flavors; he suggested me Gianduia and Zuppa Inglese. The Gianduia is really good; the Zuppa Inglese, not to be stopped eating because of how good it is. If we add to this the friendliness of the owner, which is not everyone's thing, the game is done. We will be back, of course if we go back

06/04/2025: Este lugar nos lo recomendó un lugareño y no decepcionó. Me encantó los sabores y el personal era muy servicial y cortés. Seleccione el artículo/tamaño que desee y pague en el quiosco. Luego ve al mostrador para hacer tus selecciones de sabor.

02/04/2025: Pleasant environment even if not particularly "hot". Good meat. We were advised on a cut of 8 euros per hectogram but for 1.2 kg (of which at least 3 hectograms of bone) and almost 100 euros I definitely expected better. Even with the wine we were unlucky with a Ripasso Valpolicella Riserva which promised a lot but revealed little... certainly in the blameworthiness of the staff. The strong point is the service, everyone is extremely courteous and attentive

17/04/2025: Qualità del pesce di altissimo livello, antipasti crudi e cotti sublimi nelle loro preparazioni che esaltano il sapore del pesce in tutte le loro sfaccettature,la possibilità di scegliere il pesce dalla pescheria accanto é a dir poco sinonimo di garanzia! Abbiamo mangiato un rombo in crosta di patate fantastico con la lisca del pesce fritto affianco davvero goduriosa. Servizio impeccabile cordiale veloce e capace di esaudire ogni nostra richiesta. Una nota di dovere va spesa per la cantina del vino davvero do ottima qualità. Torneremo

12/04/2025: Sono andata con mio padre a pranzo in questo locale per la prima volta per festeggiare il mio compleanno, consigliatoci da un conoscente, ma la vera sorpresa ce l’ha fatta il pesce che ci hanno servito.. nonostante la loro cordialità e disponibilità, il cibo che ci hanno servito ha fatto stare male entrambi tutta la notte con una forte intossicazione alimentare. Davvero una grande delusione! Peccato, perché sul momento ci era piaciuto molto.

The family run restaurant takes pride in every aspect of the meal. The choices are varied and I have never left disappointed. Don't miss this place if you want truly good food for a good price.
