A generous dish, reasonably good. We waited 40 minutes for a first course. Rigatoni alla gricia arrived in a pool of oil, which isn't even called for in the recipe. No bread was provided. Prices were in line with the rest of Rome.
Here's a place where the osteria concept is combined with attentive service and a non-shy philosophy. Everything is excellent, with an extraordinary quality/quantity/price ratio. Well done!
PS: If we're being picky, there's one small flaw: the tiny tables. But then, when you add all that goodness to them...

The artichokes were excellent, but the rigatoni with oxtail was disappointing, as it was practically nonexistent. The service was simple and polite.

The pasta was good, but the meat on top was a bit tough and salty.
The artichokes (whitish) on the bread were just average, and the olives (dark) were too salty and tasted terrible.
The two meatballs, one tuna and one beef, tasted like canned food 🤣. The oxtail was stewed until very tender, but my friend didn't like it.
I'm not sure about the prices since I came on a tour!

I discovered this trattoria by chance; I went there two nights in a row, and I'll be back.
They serve half portions of pasta, which I find excellent because they allow me to eat more.
The pasta is al dente, a rare thing in Rome!

What a discovery! The restaurant is just minutes from the house we rented to spend a few days in Rome.
We ate divinely prepared traditional Roman dishes: everything was delicious. From the puntarelle, topped with a truly unique anchovy emulsion (never tasted like it in any other restaurant in Rome), to the simply exquisite gricia, to the carbonara and artichokes.
The desserts, all homemade, were also delicious, and even the bread was excellent.
The service was excellent: the people who welcomed us were very kind and very knowledgeable.

this is an awesome restaurant. had some real good pasta and tiramisu. the waiters and vibe was super nice and authentic. overall an amazing restaurant and will probably eat here again when ill come back to rome. 💗💗
