22/06/2025: I have been coming to this restaurant for 65 years, my parents came here before I was born, they always cook divinely, they make pappardelle with hare sauce that are out of this world and the rest is no exception. Well done, keep it up Fabio

01/05/2025: Salve, sono stato oggi a pranzo con la mia compagna, per quanto riguarda il mangiare dire molto buono, poi ho pagato tranquillamente ma riguardando lo scontrino a casa ho notato che mi sono state messe a conto cose che non abbiamo preso, la signora alla cassa dovrebbe stare un po' più attenta quando il cameriere gli comunica cosa è stato mangiato al tavolo dei clienti. Se mangio per 100 euro ti do 100 euro , ma se mangio per 70 non è giusto pagare più di 80. Ci può stare un errore ma 3o4 no.

23/06/2025: Family evening in a welcoming environment, we ate a first course including tagliolini with calamari, scampi and bottarga and pacchero with S.Pietro, despite my intolerances to garlic, onion and wine the pacchero was cooked excellently.

06/06/2025: Unfortunately I go there only a few times because it's really far from our house, but every time you leave more than satisfied, the appetizers are an explosion of flavors, the raw fish is very fresh, and to finish I think we'll never forget the grouper cacciatore style, there was no room for dessert but we'll make up for it, the guys in the dining room are all good, friendly and fast

28/06/2025: 🍷Ended my first night in Rome exactly the way I wanted — with wine, cured meats, and the charm of Trastevere. I came all the way to La Prosciutteria in Trastevere (even though there’s a location near the Pantheon) because this neighborhood has a vibe I absolutely love. full of soul♥️ This spot offers generous small plates and great wines at a super reasonable price — I had my favorite, Chianti Classico, and it hit the spot. Perfect pairing, perfect setting.

27/06/2025: This marks my sixth time in Italy. My first meal after arriving in Rome was this tavern I had visited back in 2016 and 2019, known for its Italian cured ham. It’s a shame that the staff who welcomed me back then is no longer there. Even so, the familiar taglieri ham platter and the richly flavored panini were just as delicious as I remembered. I couldn’t help but cheer in my mind. It feels so good to return to a place filled with memories.

26/06/2025: Vegetarian carbonara available, which I was very happy about and it was so delicious! Service was attentive and we loved the unique serving of spaghetti in a delicious parmesan bowl. Loved it!

23/06/2025: You eat terribly for 19 euros they serve you dishes that are nothing short of shameful they don't even give you water but I mean tap water no starters zerooooooo....you take dishes off the fixed menu you pay as if you were eating in the centre the service is disappointing a place like this is pathetic it has really lost quality.....try it to believe it.....then if people are used to eating misery and they put dishes out for show it's better to see it on the spot.....in any case you are disgusting you ask for a lot of money....

02/07/2025: This restaurant is a real paradise! The pizzas are delicious and cooked to perfection, with fresh and high quality ingredients. But not only pizzas, also the grilled meat is spectacular! The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is welcoming, I highly recommend trying their specialties, both pizza and grilled meat.

27/06/2025: Family atmosphere, the owner is an expert and passionate lover of grilled meat. The pizzas, however, are also tasty and digestible. The prices are in line with the quality of the dishes. The service is attentive and punctual. I go there often.

06/07/2025: Guys A place with the best!! I've been around a lot but the quality and choice available here are VERY DIFFICULT to find!!! I shared a Nebraska (Angus) simply divine, cooked perfectly like butter!! Excellent wine and special beef burgers!! I invite you to come here, exceptional quality/price!!! When the owner comes to the table and recommends the Cut, makes you choose the piece and finally offers you bitters and sorbet I'd say you've hit the jackpot!!! We'll be back often!!!

03/07/2025: Nothing to say.. Everything top.. From the location to the food and the truly competent and kind staff.. I tried the aged meat, the Burger, the mixed roast and finally the birramisu, Everything fantastic.... Beautiful experience to repeat

07/07/2025: Eating at Vecchia Locanda is always a guarantee. We have been coming here for years and every time it is a confirmation: excellent quality, delicious dishes and generous portions. The staff is always kind, polite and attentive, making each visit even more pleasant. A special note goes to Nadia, an extremely attentive and professional waitress: I have a particular allergy and she, together with her colleagues, made sure that every dish served was safe for me. A rare and truly appreciated attention. Excellent! The place is welcoming and well-kept, perfect both for a quiet dinner with friends and for celebrating special occasions — we highly recommend it for parties and events, because it has a really nice and familiar atmosphere. A real safety over time. Keep it up!

27/06/2025: Our hotel concierge recommended this restaurant to us in Rome and we loved it! Food was outstanding. We ordered different pastas and they were excellent. We wrapped up with chocolate cake that was “out of this world”. Ambiance was nice with both inside and outside seating. Location was close to the river and also close to many of the nearby hotels. Dario was our server and provided excellent service!

19/06/2025: So good! The açaí bowl was exactly what we needed after a 3+ hour long tour of the Vatican. The bowls were cold, semi-frozen and the fruit was fresh. Overall, a great way to cool off.
