03/03/2025: The place has a refined and careful design, the music of great classics and background. The dishes taken (artichoke salad, roasted artichoke, pita with tsatsiki), Sardinian fregola with fish, and octopus in sauce. For dessert the Seadas. And, with a taste never tried before, the cocktails aged in amphorae. An incredible place, which I highly recommend. Everything chosen with care, the attentive and welcoming staff, and an owner who has a vision to reward.

We ate a very good appetizer of Crostini dell'Orso, delicious crescentine, excellent tagliatelle and very tender and tasty sliced ​​beef. To finish, a fantastic semifreddo and chocolate cake. 17/02/2025: Excellent location and food. Let's say that when you go out to eat in Bologna it is difficult to be disappointed. We played it safe by ordering several portions of crescentine to pair with squacquerone, lard, ham, mortadella and various typical sauces. As a first course, I chose the "defective" truffle ravioli. Naturally we accompanied everything with some good red wine. The owner, very kind, offered us shots at the end of the meal, all of different flavors: peanut, aromatic herbs, blueberry and others. Highly recommended place, we'll be back!

Not even a smile, if you don't want to work, change jobs. The contact with customers is terrible, with the usual drinkers invading the counter to make nice with the narcissistic barmaids. 20/08/2024: Take-away pizzeria located under the portico of the buildings in the small square of the hamlet of Quarto Inferiore in the province of Bologna, just a few minutes from the first outskirts of Bologna and the Pilastro district. With great expectations we went there today for the first time. We noticed the pizzeria the first time we took our dog to the vet who is next door. We had lunch there and had two pizzas, pleasantly sitting outside near the square overlooking a garden with plants and trees. We sat down and were divinely refreshed. The pizzas are delicious, crunchy, not greasy, well cooked, tasty and digestible. We took wholemeal, one with mushrooms and artichokes and one with cooked ham and mushrooms. The professionalism, kindness and hospitality of the two pizza chefs particularly struck us, we felt at home. It is also nice inside with the possibility of sitting and eating on site. In addition to single pizzas, they make half and one meter pizzas, salads, sandwiches, etc. They are open for lunch and dinner every day except Mondays and offer a takeaway service. We thank you again for your service. And we will return again, we recommend it to everyone.

26/01/2025: We arrived in town later on a Saturday without a reservation, and speaking little Italian due to a change in our travel plans due to a train strike. We inquired at another top restaurant in town, but they refused to seat us without a reservation. Our reception at Uvo Passo was the complete opposite. We were warmly received, we had a very friendly and highly skilled waiter helping our waitress with English. Eventually, he basically crafted a wonderful meal for us after chatting with us about what we liked. He took extra special care of our vegetarian member, and hit spot on the preferences of everyone in our group. A couple of our group had the tortellini, it was very delicious. A couple of our group members had pizza and said the crust was thin & crunchy with just the right amount delicious char on it for perfect flavor. We had one with mixed veggies and it was amazing. We ended the evening with a couple of fantastic desserts to share. The super friendly staff made our evening not just a delicious meal, but one of our most memorable & fun Italian experiences.
