24/08/2025: Today, August 24th, I'm coming from Oleggio in the province of Novara (six of us) specifically to try this restaurant. Because friends who were there 15 days ago told me about its culinary wonders. I obviously checked the website first, which rightly confirmed it was open, only to find a note on the door instead telling me it would reopen for lunch on the 29th. I left at 8:00... it's 12:42... Let's just say it would be nice and polite to update the information, otherwise why do we even have the website? You decide... speechless.

10/07/2025: €9 for a pizza with three counted anchovies, a mass of capers and olives, and a sour sauce. Mediocre dough. Either lower the prices or improve the quality.

25/07/2025: My rating is an average of the food (always subjective, I liked some dishes and didn't really understand others), the location (perhaps the most well-kept and pretty internal courtyard I've found in Bologna) and the service (unacceptable for the menu, costs and location).

22/07/2025: A sure thing, you can't go wrong. I go back whenever I can, year-round. The tortellini in brodo is an absolute must, and the tagliata and cotoletta are excellent. Highly recommended.

04/09/2025: I'll start by saying that I had two good first courses and was served by an extremely friendly lady (not the same one who took our order). BUT, the outrageous bill really shocked me. The red and white wine, for their respective prices, were €0.37...excessive! As for the "crescentine and sliced ​​meats," it would have been appropriate to ask if it was enough for one person without assuming a double portion... mediocre sliced ​​meats, for that matter. Desserts were good, but in small portions, €7 each was absurd! 2 first courses 2 bottles of wine (€0.35) Crescentine/sliced ​​meats 2 desserts 1 water 1 grappa €115.............hmm. I'm sorry, but all things considered, we'll never return.

25/08/2025: I've been for both lunch and dinner. The food is excellent. The "wrong" Bolognese cutlet was fantastic. The tortellini in broth was perfect. The bill was good. The service was excellent! I'm giving it 4 stars because of a response I received from the young waiter.

23/07/2025: The restaurant is modern and the food (we tried sushi and other similar items) is good quality. The paper napkins look like fabric, but given the quality of the place, regular ones would be better.

14/08/2025: I've known Luca and Marco for years and I always go there. I went yesterday, August 13, 2025, with my wife for lunch. We had tagliatelle with ragù, Valdostana cutlet, and classic cutlet. As always, excellent quality, excellent service, and the friendliness that sets them apart—in short, a sure thing. Highly recommended. Well done, guys.

07/08/2025: I've known it and been going there for years, albeit sporadically. Very fast service, decent atmosphere, but a bit noisy. Generous portions, but mediocre food, no longer as good as it once was. Adequate value for money.

21/08/2025: Let me start by saying that we celebrated all three of my children's baptisms there and that we've never had any problems over the years; in fact, we were excellent customers, both us and my in-laws. Lately, we hadn't been there anymore due to work schedules and commitments with the kids (and also because we had other preferences). After the second-to-last time we had a family dinner, where the portions were very small and the prices were very high, we returned for a quiet lunch with our three children. As usual, we ordered two baskets of crescentine, one of which arrived promptly, but I noticed for myself that the oil was still inside the dough, so I drained it into a napkin. I would have ignored it, but my partner pointed it out to Ilaria, one of the restaurant's three less-than-smiling managers. After having strangely waited over half an hour for the main courses we'd ordered, along with side dishes and the remaining crescentine, the young lady showed up at our table, insinuating that we'd soaked the aforementioned basket with water. It was, in fact, wet, but it must have been wet by them or someone in the kitchen, to challenge our small, polite remark. The result? Insults from the young woman, who called us "shameful" and ordered us never to return to their establishment. I have no words for the lack of professionalism, respect, and politeness of these people. If you treat your regular customers like this, you've got a serious problem... and you always will have, as that place is increasingly empty. A heartfelt piece of advice to Ilaria: be more humble and smile more, so you don't become any uglier, and demonstrate the intelligence in knowing when it's best to keep quiet and move on. And ask yourself a few questions about your staff, whose reliability and professionalism are questionable. Never see you again.

19/08/2025: Adequate, but a bit disappointing. A 4-star hotel with a pool (but it's open to the public, so it's crowded with people from outside the hotel, making it difficult to use. I'd recommend keeping at least one or two lanes for those who want to swim; the splashing water makes it impossible). The room was nice, nothing to complain about. Two significant flaws to point out: the restaurant was closed (for vacation!), and the bar also didn't provide anything to eat (the kitchen was completely closed, making even an aperitif impossible), which I think is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. Second flaw: there was no safe in the room, not even a small wall-mounted one (even 3-star hotels on the Riviera have them!), but what's even worse is that they DON'T keep guests' valuables at reception; they only kept my laptop for a few hours, not overnight. This also seems inadequate for a 4-star hotel. Should guests keep their valuables in their rooms? ... I thank the management for their kind feedback, but I should point out that I tried to get something to eat at the bar around 6:30 PM, not at lunchtime, and the response was completely negative, as reported. Regarding the safekeeping of valuables, I recommend checking with the reception staff: when I asked to store my laptop, I was "invited" to retrieve it within a few hours and before dark, and the existence of a safe was never mentioned... Thank you.

14/03/2025: In Bologna there is little concept of "oven", as it is understood in other parts of Italy. This shop is a rarity in the city and is of high quality.

13/03/2025: L'altissima qualità dei prodotti non può compensare la maleducazione del signore che gestisce il forno. La prima volta pensavo fosse un caso, ma poi ho scoperto che la sua scortesia in città è rinomata. Non si rende neanche conto peraltro che a Bologna esiste Calzolari e che quindi il suo non è esattamente il negozio più indispensabile dell'universo... Mai più!

28/08/2025: It won't be the best pizza you'll ever taste, but they sell pizza al taglio at ridiculous prices. In fact, in the mornings they sell the pieces of pizza they have left over from the night before for €1.

07/08/2025: They have very good pizza. Thing is that, not everywhere in italy you can get a good pizza( maybe unpopular opinion, however took me a while to find a good spot). Price for a slice is absolutely amazing(2€-2.5€) each slice. They serve fast. Keep in mind there is no place to dine it, so it’s only for takeaway.
