02/10/2025: Dinner with friends was the first time for everyone we had a great time Tommaso recommended traditional starters with hints of Calabrian products, excellent first courses tortelloni and stuffed triangles made by them the typical regional dessert was delicious excellent value for money we will be back👍

19/09/2025: GORGEOUS ALLEY RESTAURANT recommend by locals. We got the bolognese pasta (5/10), ribeye stake (7/10), and the tortellini (100/10) SO GOOD. We (3) went without reservations and sat in the terrace which is also pet friendly. ATMOSPHERE was lovely and welcoming with the string lights accompanying the night.

28/09/2025: We arrived at 12:50 and after about half an hour, they brought us the platter with cold fried crescents and a small piece of cheese that tasted like mold (and not moldy cheese...). At 2:15 we asked what had happened to our starters. Since it's a set menu with three starters to choose from, you'd expect faster service. The first waitress told us it would be difficult to know the status of our dishes. We asked a second waitress, who kindly went to the kitchen and returned shortly after with our dishes. The tortellini were lukewarm and tasteless, and the tagliatelle were cold, dry, and with little ragù. But that's just the way it is, and we ate them anyway, because we were so hungry. For dessert, the same waiter who brought us our starters, realizing we were a bit annoyed by the wait, took care of getting our desserts delivered more quickly (at least the tenerina was good). We reported this to the cashier; given the reviews, we definitely expected more. Oh, we got up at 3:00...

11/10/2025: Informal, nice and simple restaurant, with good crescents and offers...tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms...tasteless even if homemade, but good porcini mushrooms!

17/10/2025: I went to dinner at this pizzeria with my two children and my husband. The pizza dough might be good, but it's a letdown due to the poor-quality toppings used. For example, my husband ordered a pizza with zucchini and pancetta...raw zucchini and diced pancetta from the plastic packaging. My son ordered a sausage and hot dog pizza, which he didn't want to eat because the hot dogs were inedible.

11/10/2025: I visited this very welcoming restaurant with my partner and three friends. We had a truly wonderful time! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, accommodating any requests. The food was excellent, and we were satisfied with our lunch! It's very close to the university area, within walking distance. I highly recommend it! It's definitely a place I'll return to when I'm in Bologna.

Bar number 11 on our culinary Aperol tour through Bologna took us to "Bottega Ranocchi." 18/10/2025: Went to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The rustic place is very charming and welcoming. They make you feel at home, especially Martina. The food is exceptional, fresh, and truly high-quality. We had fried polenta with truffle-infused Parmesan fondue, gratinated tortellini alla parmigiana, hand-chopped beef with vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, and lemon, venison in the woods, and a dessert, pear, ricotta, salted caramel, and dark chocolate chips. Competent, friendly, and helpful service. The price is a little above average, but well-deserved. Recommended

15/08/2025: A very special restaurant. Nestled in the green hills of Bologna. Easy to get to. Unique interior, with a very friendly chef and staff. The vegetable buffet was delicious. The first courses were exceptional, accompanied by a glass of excellent Cabernet Sauvignon. There was also a dessert buffet, homemade and very inviting. Highly recommended for the quality of the food, the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness, and the relaxing atmosphere inside the dining room. Excellent value.

If you're looking for a few days away from the chaos of the city, this is definitely the place!
