Absolutely EPIC. From the second we walked in, the feeling was warm and welcoming. We chose to do the full 7 course Luce menu.
The flavors of each dish was exquisite. The presentation, flawless. I am amazed how creative some of the dishes were. I never imagined ever having a guacamole gelato before, and it was a banger.
The service was absolutely impeccable. The synchronized marking and clearing was like watching a show. There wasn’t a detail missed. A+
Overall, just a wonderful experience.
I can’t wait to come back. Compliments to Nicola Annunziata for the well deserved 2026 Michelin star/award and your incredible talent and creative gift with ingredients.

Restaurant with spectacular service and timing; the tasting menu unfolds like a movie, right up to the finale. The experience is highly recommended. My only suggestion would be to change the wine list and pairings; they don't quite match the timing of the courses, the quality of the food, or the variety of contrasts in the main dishes.

I've visited the "I Portici" restaurant twice in a short time. Once for dinner in the large room that once housed the theater, and once for lunch in the small vaulted room located directly above the cellar. The glass floor offers a fascinating view while you enjoy the food and wine.
The restaurant staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Never intrusive, but always attentive.
And the two tasting menus I had the pleasure of savoring were truly first-rate: a culinary delight expertly crafted for the palate, from the first course to the last!
The wine list is carefully selected and includes some truly special wines. What particularly impressed and pleased me: the wine list is not overloaded.
After having the pleasure of enjoying the New Year's Eve menu at Glam by Enrico Bartolini on December 31, 2025, I can only say that "I Portici" is every bit as good as that. I wouldn't be surprised if "I Portici" received a second star; in my opinion, it would be the logical consequence!
All that remains is to thank the team and the cuisine from the bottom of my heart for this extraordinary experience. Bologna completely enchanted me, not only because of "I Portici," but for other reasons as well. I'll be back...

Pretty much what you would expect from a one star restaurant: impeccable service, great attention to detail (their bread is amazing), some interesting dishes, some not as convincing as others. Our favorite was the Tortelli!
The bottle of Cerelia water at 7€ will surely get a laugh out of any locals though
Excellent table, well served.

Excellent dining experience at the only Michelin starred restaurant in Bologna. Food was delicious, surprising, well executed, and went beyond just flavor. Service couldn’t have been better. The water menu which had options going up to 50EUR a bottle felt overly fancy, but if it appeals to people … nothing wrong with that. Definitely a good option for a special occasion!

A top-notch restaurant from a culinary perspective: each dish was thoughtful, creative, and truly excellent, using high-quality ingredients and meticulous technique. The Michelin star is absolutely deserved for the cuisine.
Unfortunately, however, the experience was marred by the wine pairing, which cost €100 per person for five glasses, which at this point seems excessive. The first three pairings proved particularly inadequate: the first glass was an overly acidic natural wine, which compromised the delicacy of the dish it was paired with; another dish was accompanied by a low-quality industrial beer, while a further pairing included a house cocktail. These choices were decidedly below expectations for a restaurant of this caliber.
Overall, the pairings did not enhance the dishes and, in some cases, were inconsistent, throwing off the balance of the entire tasting experience.

I recently went to dinner for an anniversary with my girlfriend. It was a five-star experience, from the phone reservation to the request for some changes to the menu, service, and food. Of course, a Michelin star isn't something you get by accident, but they truly deserve it. The location is meticulously maintained, the staff is super professional and friendly, the dishes are excellently prepared, and every bite is an explosion of flavor. Highly recommended! I can't wait to return.
