04/06/2025: My husband and I just spent the weekend at the Helvetia Hotel in Porretta Terme (31/05-01/06). The hotel is well-kept and elegant, as are the rooms, large and with attention to detail. Excellent cleaning. Friendly and helpful staff. The icing on the cake is the beautiful SPA, created from caves in an air raid shelter; a very suggestive environment, with soft lighting and background music, which makes everything romantic and relaxing.... open until 11:00 pm... the kit is available in the room, with: bathrobe, towel, slippers and cap. I can't wait to go back.... I RECOMMEND IT....

16/08/2025: A characteristic place, many places next to each other in a small square where you can sit among the various tables, it is not warm (in winter), prices have increased compared to some time ago, but too much confusion, the voices bounced off the walls and were amplified.

01/07/2025: The best place to eat fish: very fresh, very good, lots of variety, from oysters to mussels, clams, tuna, sole, sea bream, sea bass, monkfish, shrimp, calamari, scallops, cooked in all ways. Magnificent mussels au gratin. Impeccable service and lots of courtesy. At Timy you can never go wrong

18/08/2025: The place is welcoming, albeit very rustic. The wait staff is courteous and attentive. The food fell short of expectations. The crescentino appetizer was decidedly too dry and difficult to cut. The Bolognese cutlets were also dry and tough to cut; the prosciutto was excellent. The slow-cooked pork cheek was very good, as were the desserts. The final bill was high considering the overall quality of the food.

26/07/2025: Kudos to the speed of preparation: we ordered via the app and paid at the counter, and arrived there at 7 PM sharp. We were already seated at our table with our food in less than 5 minutes, and in fact, we managed to catch our 7:30 PM train even earlier. The only slight flaw is the fries, which perhaps weren't as good as the chicken, which was otherwise excellent.

22/07/2025: A place serving simple yet delicious and authentic dishes, including handmade pasta dishes. Family-run, the staff are courteous. We found a table outside without any problems. Located in a cool, hilly location with a nice breeze.

21/08/2025: The gluten-free pizza was delicious, with a truly excellent and easily digestible dough. I had the vegan version, and it had some original and tasty combinations! Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back.

10/09/2025: Trustworthy people recommended this place to me, so I went with a grain of salt... perhaps too much. Tuesday evening, the lake was invisible because it wasn't lit at all, the restaurant was poorly maintained, the staff was not at all friendly, very serious, and in my opinion, surly. The glass water bottles they brought us were never washed, I think (I've attached a photo). The first course arrived with a small animal in the broth, which had to be changed. Total chaos due to tables full of very young children who screamed and cried the whole time we were there. Mediocre food, nothing special. Prices ok.

13/07/2025: Servizio troppo troppo lento. 30 minuti per prendere l’ordine, altra mezz’ora per l’arrivo di due antipasti altri cinquanta minuti prima dell’arrivo dell’ordine (1 primo e tre secondi) Non abbiamo ordinato il dolce altrimenti avremmo fatto notte. Il cibo tutto sommato è buono ma ci vuole mezza giornata a mangiare qui. Organizzatevi ragazzi. Potete fare meglio.

07/07/2025: Very beautiful and panoramic location, we ate on the terrace overlooking the hills. Very courteous and helpful service. The dishes were really excellent, carefully prepared and well presented. Very varied and tasty mixed appetizer (missing in the photos). The first courses were really excellent, especially the balanzoni with pepper cream. Fried courgette flowers stuffed with squacquerone and sausage, a must-try. Top amaretto pudding. All crowned with an excellent Lambrusco. Excellent value for money. I definitely recommend this establishment!
