04/10/2025: Wonderful experience. Excellent food and wines, including by the glass. Great welcome from co-owner. Excellent service. On a short visit to Parma, we went for lunch -we enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day. Gets busy, so advisable to book in adance.

08/10/2025: Definitely top 3 restaurant experiences in Italy for us! One of the workers from Osteria Francescana recommended we come here and what a great recommendation it was! The owner is the most adorable man who is so chipper and helpful with accommodating dietary restrictions or making suggestions. The food was just absolutely mind blowing! We got a beet root risotto which was one of the best things we’ve ever had! But what stole the show was the desert! Which was made with local Lambrusco wine into a mascarpone and then topped with local cherries soaked in local aged balsamic and it was just phenomenal.

06/10/2025: A small osteria in the heart of Modena's historic center, with a very familiar yet refined atmosphere. Traditional Modenese dishes are presented in an original way, preserving the ancient flavors of our traditions. Excellent service and excellent value.

20/10/2025: I can say that of all the restaurants I've tried in Ferrara, this one stands out. The atmosphere is intimate, welcoming, and warm, perfect for romantic dinners or dinners with friends. The welcome is attentive, the staff is knowledgeable, formal, but not stuffy. The wine list (I'm a wine lover) is very interesting. The dishes are refined, perfectly crafted, and made with quality ingredients. And last but not least (except for the excellent desserts), the quality/price ratio is excellent. I'm always happy to return.

14/10/2025: An evening for two... Starters, first and second courses were all fish...I can say I didn't know what to choose, all dishes were top-notch...the only disappointing note was the dessert, revisited cannoli, too sweet for my taste. The wine list is definitely extensive and caters to all tastes and budgets. In short, the food, service, hospitality, and kindness were top-notch. Congratulations, I'll definitely be back. Oh, I forgot, the price was absolutely in line; in fact, I'd even say it was low, given the quality of the food and the restaurant. Reservations recommended.

18/10/2025: A welcoming place, with attention to detail not only in the dishes but also in the ambiance and service. It was a pleasant discovery, and the orange and rum dessert is truly a journey, well thought out and fun.

12/10/2025: Terrible experience, I had asked the shop assistant for pistachio chocolates that I had already bought other times, but she offered me products with pistachio but completely different from those purchased previously, and which are dark chocolate and therefore not to my taste... I was very disappointed.

23/09/2025: Wood-fired pizzas, very good! Quick and efficient service. Good place to eat pizza, all the flavors, fast and delicious!

20/10/2025: Overall, it's a meal not to be missed. Good food, traditional cuisine presented in unconventional recipes, top-quality cured meats. Mrs. Ravanetti is very good at her job and very hospitable. And then... in Langhirano, Trattoria della Gallina is an institution...

13/10/2025: I found this place by chance. I was in Parma. I called, thinking I was running late—almost 2 PM—and the kind reply was: "I'll set up a table for you!" A TRATTORIA in the best sense of the word. Impeccable service, dishes expertly prepared, with fried porcini mushrooms and ricotta and spinach ravioli. But the real surprise for anyone who loves TRIPPA is trying a version they only make there, in one place. Tripe in green parsley, a touch of garlic, and no tomato. A MUST-TRY. Then there's the wine details: Lambrusco at the perfect temperature and quality, and the textbook homemade desserts: coffee and grappa. 18 Monday. What can I say? I'll definitely be back, and I recommend trying Trattoria della Gallina! Worth it. Thank you. Oh, I forgot, I'm counting on us Milanese people not even in our wildest dreams...

17/08/2025: The best VEGAN ice cream ever!!! Very unique, exceptional flavors, excellent creaminess... Absolutely addictive! We drove 20km just to eat their ice cream two days in a row!!! It makes me think of those who say "vegan ice cream is not possible, there's only fruit"! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

03/09/2025: This was a really mixed experience. Lows: - My pregnant wife being served raw then undercooked langoustine successively. (It was a dish served undercooked but the waiter recommended it as an option reassuring us that they could modify the recipe to cook the langoustine through. My impression was that the chefs did not agree and stubbonly refused to cook the shellfish to a temperature suitable for a pregnant woman!) - Very strong flavour contrasts which mostly didn't work. (Mackerel with onion chutney, scorpion fish with a highly pungent bisque sauce, squid with an intense sabzi-esque dried spinach sauce, grouper with a fancy version of hoi sin sauce.) Really intense flavours which totally overwhelmed the fish. I wonder if perhaps the chef doesnt actually like fish? Certainly they are not interested in maximising the flavour of the fish served, but masking it with intense sauces. Or maybe the chef is a heavy smoker? And has lost the subtler parts of their palette. Regardless - most of the dishes, while interesting, were not actually nice or enjoyable to eat. - The price. The price undoubtedly reflects the considerable effort put into this food. But it feels more like a work in progress menu. Paying such a high price (€100 pp) stings when you don't really enjoy the majority of what you are eating. - Tiny amount of fish on each dish. (Except for the cerviche appetiser which was very generous). Highs: - The waiter was lovely and attentive. - The decor is beautiful and really imaginatively done - The wine is excellent and the waiter recommended great wines to go with the fish. - The first amuse bouche and the last (a selection of tiny pattiserie to be eaten in a specific order) were really outstanding and delicious. - The gurnard cerviche with grapefruit juice was the one time when the intense flavour contrasts worked brilliantly. It was  impressive and delicious. Overall, if you have money to burn and you want a bit of an adventure, then maybe this will be fun. But if you want to to guarentee enjoying everything - go somewhere more affordable which cooks things more simply and traditionally in a way which emphasises the flavour profile of the fish and almost certainly gives you more than a mouthful of fish per course!

03/11/2025: A must-try every time I return to Riccione. A very informal place just steps from Viale Ceccarini, but it's always a pleasure to return. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly, true Romagnoli. They make you feel at ease in seconds. The piada is fantastic. A choice of 3 or 4 doughs and a wide variety of flavors, from the simplest to the more elaborate, but all excellent and generously sized with generous fillings! In short.... Highly recommended! 🙌
