22/08/2025: As lovers of Japanese cuisine and tradition, we were drawn to this restaurant and its positive reviews. We know full well that real sushi is pure in flavor and uncontaminated by too many condiments, but that said, we were disappointed by the imperfections of the dishes, which were already very simple, lacking perfect cutting and equal portions. Furthermore, the dessert consisted of two portions of panna cotta, one with matcha and anko and the other with just coffee, which had nothing to do with the menu. Two would have been better than the other, which reflects the desire to offer traditional dishes, especially since you have to split it between two people and very little is left. Furthermore, the service was completely lacking. We didn't hold it against the lady who served us, but we weren't told anything about the dishes other than a couple of very basic details, not even what drinks were available. We had to ask. I understand it's a fixed à la carte menu, but precisely for this reason, the customer should be accompanied throughout the meal and made to feel part of this culinary experience. The dishes arrived very quickly, and without any explanation, everything seemed very hectic, and we didn't feel welcomed. I'm very disappointed because we were excited to try it and it's the first time we've been disappointed by traditional Japanese cuisine, which usually pays great attention to every detail and, above all, is passionate about conveying it to the customer. I hope our opinion helps them try to improve something that could really offer so much, given that it's rare to eat in authentic Japanese places in Italy.

The attention to detail is on par with the food. I had the honor of meeting and talking a bit with the owners, who are wonderful people. If you're in the area, don't hesitate; this is a unique place. Every single person who asks me in the United States where to eat on their next trip to Italy will make this one of their best choices. 03/11/2025: Excellent food, a wide selection of wines, a pleasant and refined atmosphere, and service with just the right mix of informality and courtesy. Highly recommended! I'll be back.

16/10/2025: Fine dining sea food with great wine pairing. Service was welcoming, the sommelier explained the accompanying wines very good. The dinning room is a little funny, they've decorated the interior as if you'd be in a submarine.

02/11/2025: The gelateria is located in a wonderful strategic spot, facing a large square with a beautiful garden full of children playing and having fun. The gelato is wonderfully good, always the best. Roberto is very friendly and always available to everyone.

09/11/2025: We were lucky enough to get an early table for 9:00 PM so we could eat at this fantastic osteria. 😋 We had a truly wonderful time, the staff were friendly, and the typical Modenese cuisine was fabulous (to say the least). 🥰 Tortellini in brodo made with love, amazing lasagna, and generous fried gnocchetti and tigelle, to finish with the legendary zuppa inglese. I highly recommend it, thank you for giving us the opportunity to try your cuisine. 🤗

18/10/2025: Delicious pizza!! One of the best I've ever had! Soft pizza, light dough, and incredibly flavorful! If you want to try a real pizza, then this is the place to go. Congratulations, they're truly talented and super friendly! Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back!

17/11/2025: A go-to for years. Excellent service and consistently delicious food. Parking is limited outside the village, so sometimes you have to walk a bit, but it's worth it.

26/10/2025: Honestly, incredible. The menu offers a few dishes, but you can be sure that the ones they do offer will be prepared to perfection. The meat is particularly incredible. All the cuts are tender and not at all rubbery. The only downside is the relatively high price, starting at €13 for appetizers and going up to €23 for main courses. The dishes aren't particularly large, but with a first course and a second course, you'll be fine until dinner. A must-visit for those special occasions.
