09/03/2026: We stopped at Birroteca Cattolica on our way from Vasto to Trieste, where we were meeting friends for a wedding. This is obviously a personal and subjective review, based on our experience. We found the place rather spartan and not particularly well-maintained. The staff was very attentive, definitely too attentive: their hospitality was extremely obsequious and overbearing, which, for our taste, was too affected. What really struck us, however, were the prices, which seemed decidedly disproportionate to the quality of the ingredients and the type of venue. Wine by the glass costed over €5 each, crostini di pane cost €15, and a vegan pizza cost €16: high-end restaurant prices that, in our opinion, don't reflect the overall experience. The dishes themselves aren't bad, but the quality-price ratio seemed truly unconvincing. If you don't want to spend a lot for a simple meal, perhaps you're better off going straight.

30/12/2025: A good choice for Japanese food lovers, but also for those who don't eat raw fish and prefer Chinese dishes. The atmosphere is refined and the service is fast. We've been here several times and have never been disappointed. Convenient parking is available around the restaurant.

28/12/2025: The best sushi and Chinese food in the province. We've been customers since it was still self-service, always friendly, and the quality is excellent. A must-visit.

19/01/2026: An unforgettable experience. We chose the five-course menu (selectable from the à la carte menu) with a glass of wine (one for each course). We were greeted with a delicious entrée and pampered throughout. The service was excellent, attentive but not overwhelming. The appetizer was delicious, the first courses delicate yet well-structured, rich in flavor, and the meat perfectly cooked. I didn't find the dessert as exciting as the rest of the menu; perhaps if I had chosen it again, I would have ordered a different course, but that's just my personal opinion. I hope to return soon to try the rest of the menu! Congratulations.

18/01/2026: A must-visit when passing through these parts. The usual high-quality service and excellent food, although I wasn't entirely convinced. There were some small details, like the artichokes, which weren't very chewy in the more cooked parts. Otherwise, everything was well-balanced: bitterness, acidity, aromas, and savory. I like the way the herbs have evolved over time. All good, some very pleasant discoveries. We'll gladly return.

05/01/2026: A classic piadina kiosk, with its signature green and white colors. Convenient parking is available right in front on the street, and there's a gazebo that can be used even in case of rain. Deborah and Patrizia were truly exquisite: very kind, friendly, and always available. We had a crescione and two piadinas: excellent, delicious products, and an excellent value. The kiosk also offers vegetarian and lactose-free options, as well as piadinas made with whole-wheat Kamut flour or flavored (chili pepper, oregano, etc.).

22/12/2025: A steak rice bowl with side dishes, a beer, lots of desserts, a romantic afternoon tea, and some nice ice cream.

10/11/2025: The quality of both food and wine was truly excellent. We enjoyed every course, from the appetizers to the first courses, to the meat, which was clearly their specialty, cooked to perfection. A restaurant I highly recommend to anyone who wants to eat well.

10/03/2026: I discovered this small pastry shop a few weeks ago and tried it several times in just a few days. Besides having a very kind owner, it offers products with an exceptional taste and balance of sweetness. The tiramisu is delicious, assembled and served freshly in an impeccable and original way, but the true masterpiece is the cinnamon roll, incredibly balanced and light. It also comes in a vegan version, lower in fat than the regular version, and deserves a generous 5 stars. For me, it's definitely in the top 5 of Bologna's bakeries.
